I'm not much for words, but here goes...I had stumbled and broken the push-pull valve and another pipe. Used Homeadvisor & got connected to Blue Sky, who , with a few calls, got me scheduled for the next day. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and responsive to getting the problem fixed. Reacted quickly to two last-minute schedule changes I requested. The technicion was well organized and equipped for the job. Had one very slow drip after the first pass, Tech decided he needed to re-plumb to get top notch connections and did so. Turned out great, looks better than it did before and it is tight as a drum.

The initial install was great. A little over a year later it developed black spots, it took till the following spring before the tech I had told me it was an ongoing issues in several pools of the same time frame. They did a acid kill to stop the growth and were to fix it in the fall, after swim season. They beet around the bush and did not start till the following spring. No treatment worked and we still had the spots. All 4 service techs who looked at it said it would need to be resurfaced. The sales rep I was dealing with, David Banks, kept putting me off saying they would try this or that. Nothing worked. I have attempted to contact Kurt Wall now for 3+ weeks and he will not call me. The office manager Denise is wonderful to deal with but is powerless in this case. I would highly recommend going some place else for your work, just in case something goes wrong.

It was a great experience. They repaired my pool pump within a day or so and were very reasonable. I was impressed from the office to the owner by their friendly and professional manner. They kept me in the loop during the entire process. I wouldn't hesitate to call them back the next time I need a repair or upgrade.

David Banks at Blue Sky was great to work with. He was very informative on all the aspects of the remodel. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with the choices we made. He was constantly coming by the house to make sure the crew was keeping on task and the nothing was being missed with our remodel. I would definitely recommend Sky Blue Pools for any of your pool needs.

I am not a good "get on line and praise or complain" kind of person. But this company deserves the time and effort!!! What a great pool company. Thank you Sky Blue and especially thank you David Banks! Every pool has its own unique problems and needs. Ours presented several challenges in addition to being an old outdated pool with a very large crack. David supervised every phase of the job. He was very knowledgeable and kept us informed every step of the way. He was always available to help make important decisions. The subcontractors that David used were reliable and efficient. They worked hard and left no mess behind! Everyone was careful to protect our landscape. The finished product speaks for itself. We have a beautiful pool. David and Sky Blue Pools cared about doing the job right!

Our Sky Blue rep, David, did everything promised and completed all aspects of the job on time or early. Sky Blue did a complete remodel/repair of our in ground pool. Each phase of the work was accomplished professionally. David communicated every upcoming work task and came by to check on work. The work teams completing the various activities were polite and efficient and went over and above to complete the work and clean up afterwards. After the project completion David has been available to answer questions and has come by to explain the new equipment operation and check on settings. We would highly recommend Sky Blue, David and the work teams they use. Well done to Kirk for the team he has assembled and the business he built.

BUYER BEWARE! David the project manager is a slick talker and will promise you all kinds of things and will fail to deliver. His communication skills are lacking once you pay him. I had no idea when they were coming, what their schdule was etc. and when I would inquire he would respond (if I got a response) "read the proposal". THey have not finished our pool job still and want another $10,000plus to do the deck. I would not recommend them and would tell you if you do decide to use them, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING INCLUDING A SCHEDULE OF THE WORK. If he says he will replace the fountains on the end of the pool, you better get it in writing because although he removed one of the spouts, he failed to replace them nor return the one he removed because he couldn't find replacements although I could find them in the book he provided and online. He measured my deck because we hired them to replace our deck with cool decking and we have a moveable hot tub which we thought he was applying the deck under (like when you buy new flooring or carpet- you usually move the furniture/fixture and lay the flooring) the tub but instead his plan apparently was to lay new deck up to the hot tub. THis was never our intent nor did the other companies subtract out for the tub. We paid a company $200 to move it (Sky Blue wanted $750) and Sky Blue wanted us to pay extra ($445.90) to lay the new decking where the hot tub had been still saying they did not include that area in their measurement. I was told that they would buy one of the mosiacs I wanted on the bottom of my pool if I signed a contract and now have to dispute the pool payment to get that money back from them as I was never reimbursed that amount only subtracted it from the next payment of $10,000 plus for decking which will no longer be done because the trust factor is no longer there therefore I will not be paying them any more money at this point because they failed to finish the pool which I already paid for. Long story short. When asked if they were coming back to finish the pool job I had paid for, the response I received by text from DAVID was "We have".......It was not until I told him I would be disputing the payment for the pool that he wanted to try to work things out. Too little, too late.

I hired SkyBlue to maintain my pool and equipment as I don't know how to do any of that on my own. And for the most part they kept the pool clean and clear, with few exceptions. However, when it came to the maintenance of the equipment, they either didn't care or were unknowledgeable. I had two OTHER pool companies come out and make repairs that SkyBlue insisted were not needed. In our last instance, I had spoken to various SkyBlue employees, including the owner, in regards to an issue with my Polaris not working- and specifically a valve connected to the Polaris that I was told by TWO OTHER POOL companies, was leaking and was the cause of my issue with the Polaris. SkyBlue said the valve was fine and spent those couple months "adjusting the valve"... later SkyBlue charged me an additional 345 dollars to repair the Polaris, stating it must be the wheels etc that were preventing the Polaris from working. The day following, the installation of the repaired Polaris- it was STILL not working. When I contacted SkyBlue again- after months now, of me telling them SOMETHING was wrong, after being told a month prior by two alternate pool companies that the valve was leaking (the owner Kirk, emailed me and said he "didn't care what other pool services said") after 345 dollars of repairs- SkyBlue came to the conclusion now, that, that valve WAS IN FACT leaking. At this point, the valve is NO LONGER under warranty (as I paid to have that valve repaired by SkyBlue already before) and fixing it now, would cost me yet another 120 dollars. Instances like this had become common. I paid 100 to have my home warranty company come out to repair leaks in my filter (SkyBlue charges 100 an hr + materials) just to find out the seals on the unit were fine. The filter itself was dirty and needed to be flushed and was in turn building too much pressure causing unhealthy pressure on the unit and causing multiple leaks. Something also identified by an outside pool service when the system stopped circulating all together due to the filter not being cleaned or maintained. Had my neighbor not turned off that filter MORE damage would have been done to my motor and equipment that could have cost 100s of dollars to fix. My contract with SkyBlue states that the filter is to be cleaned once every 6 months- yet Ive not seen that filter taken apart and cleaned once since I hired them. And backwashing the system should be part of the weekly maintenance of they unit. AND THERES MORE! I paid over 8 thousand dollars to have surface cracks in the pool repaired and replaster the pool, to find out after it was done, the pool was leaking. SkyBlue charged me additional money to have them come out and leak test the pool (as they didn't do that prior to replastering the pool). The response to that leak detection service was "the poo MAY be leaking" from a water fall return on the back of the pool, but they cant be sure without digging it up (at a further cost)... tearing up what

The company does excellent work. I needed to have a leak detection. They found that the dry ground pulled several pipes from one side of my pool. The auto-fill, pipe to the pool sweep, and pipe to one of the jets was cracked, and repaired.
