+ -1 moreMy experience working with Sherryl was amazing. It was simply the most enjoyable experience I could have possibly had in decorating my new home. She provides so many services. She has a wonderful, upbeat personality and was such a pleasure to work with. The experience overall was a 10+. I can't say enough good stuff about her. She was always prompt in returning my calls. She respected my opinions and never made me feel like my ideas were not good enough. She worked with my schedule and was very available to me when I needed to run something by her. I actually knew Sherryl from about 20 years ago and was thinking when I got on Angie's list to find a decorator that I needed someone like her. I was thrilled to find her name listed and immediately called her. We have had so much fun catching up on our lives and what has been going on with each other. Sherryl is also one of the most honest people I have worked with. She has incredible integrity. I highly recommend her to anyone no matter how small or big the job, no matter what budget you have to work with. She is the decorator for you.
Description of Work: Sherryl came to the house I was moving from and observed my decorating style and was able to see what I was going to take with me to the move to my new house. She then went with me to my new house and we chose paint colors for the walls. She was able within minutes to help me choose colors that were exactly what I wanted. She knows color so well she was able to tell me the name of the paint that I wanted to use. It was amazing. She then took me shopping to pick the wood floor and the ceramic tile. She designed the layout of both and gave me guidance as to where to tile, where to put wood, etc. When I started this project I generally knew what I wanted to do but because of the amount of money we were spending, I was very nervous about making a mistake. Sherryl came in and took my ideas, made suggestions and the outcome was fantastic. I have trouble visualizing things and she was able to come in and make what was a frustrating, agonizing experience and turn it into something that was so easy. She gave me exactly the help I needed. Once we moved in, she came to the house and helped me place the furniture, art work, knick-knacks and pictures. She took me shopping and helped me pick new art work and accessories for the house. She then came back to the house and hung the pictures and placed everything we bought. She is also helping me pick fabric for curtains and she is going to make them for me. We have a lot more work to do together and I have complete confidence in her. She knows her stuff. She was able to work within my budget and knew the best places to shop to get the best prices. I loved the fact that we took what I already had and worked with that. We only added a few pieces to make it feel fresh and new. She even offered to help me pack when I moved and to come in and organize my pantry, closets, etc. when I got to the new house. I did much of that myself but it was nice to know that she also provided that service if I had needed it.

+ -1 moreShe helped me pick paint colors. We just moved in so she helped me hang things and decide where to put pieces of furniture and organize rooms. Her name was Sherryl Weaver. Things went great. She was very helpful.
