The owner of this company, Matthew B. Smith, is an extremely honest and integritous individual. I would recommend this roofing company over ALL others to my church Pastor, any of my fellow church goers, to my mother, to my grandmother, or to anyone else I truly think highly of. The reason I state this is because I was concerned about the condition of my roof, given the extreme weather conditions we have experienced in the D/FW area over the past several months (i.e., hail a few times; high gusts of wind a few times, etc.), Therefore, I contacted Texas Roofing Solutions and left a message with the company owner, Matthew B. Smith, to please return my call as soon as possible to discuss my concerns. He returned my call quickly and I explained to him that we had been in this house for a little over eight years and that my concern was that my insurance company, even though they had come out twice, had informed me that any damage I suffered was minimal at best and that they would not process a claim. Since we are trying to sell this house, I was concerned about the integrity of the insurance company's claim. Mr. Smith informed me that if indeed he found reasonable damage for warranting repair or replacement work, he would assist me in getting my insurance company to pay the claim. But he did state that the damage would have to be for real, because he was honest. I told him that was okay, because I am, also, and only wish to know if I truly need repair(s) or replacement(s). He came right out, walked my roof and informed me that there was only very minimal damage (probably around $200 to $300, if that) and that otherwise, my roof was in very good shape and I did not need to consider replacing it. He did not charge me one red cent for the estimate or for his travel time. He provided to me his card and informed me that should I require roofing services in the future, he would be happy to come out and take care of any issues. I respect Mr. Smith, because he could have pushed me to pay him the few hundred dollars for minor repairs. Instead, he told me that I simply needed to make any potential purchaser aware that the roof had minor damage of about $200 to $300. He shook my hand and wished me a good day. Mr. Smith, in my opinion, is a highly integritous individual (which I have found a rare commodity in the roofing industry). He was honest, straight-forward, sincere, professional, and polite and I was genuinely shocked. I have never been treated this professionally by any roofing company in my 33 years of home ownership. I appreciate and respect the fact that he is a rare gem in a generally vicious industry who was calm, collected, intelligent and, best of all, HONEST!!! If I EVER need roof work, Texas Roofing Solutions will be who I call. And I intend to inform everyone I know of his business in the even they require roofing work. I would trust this guy with the keys to my home even if I weren't there. He is very nice, polite, professional, honest, integritous and friendly. This is refreshing in a world that grows colder by the day. My hat is off to Matthew B. Smith and his company, Texas Roofing Solutions! I worked for a Fortune 500 Company for about thirty years and one of my many duties was dealing with and finding reliable, honest, trustworthy and fairly priced vendors for maintenance or additions, so I have a very long term and learned feel for this kind of thing. This man and his company are EXCEPTIONAL and I would recommend him to ANYONE and EVERYONE! I know you would be satisfied completely with his business and work ethics!

I got it touch with Matt Smith atTexas Roofing Solutions when I need a fast inspection on a roof for a house I was buying. Not only did he answer on the 4th of July, he was out the next day to personally inspect the roof. He was extremely busy but made it happen because of the time sensitive nature of the situation. Matt is very professional and accommodating. He called me back personally to explain the situation in detail and answered all the questions I had. I will use them again to add soffit ventilation in the near future. Thank you!!

Quick to respond and put up with my delay in getting my insurance company to weigh in. Had to schedule around weather and other issues but the job was done quickly in one afternoon.

oodI waited a couple of months, just to be sure everything was okay before submitting comments. Sure enough, it's all great! I can't recall ever feeling more confident in the good old-fashioned "word" of a complete stranger. Everything Matt (Smith) said he'd do, he did. And the quality of the work is great. I had a completely new roof installed, and this company did a bang-up job: They completed everything in ONE DAY, cleaned-up after themselves (although there was one roofing nail left in the driveway). One of my neighbors had their roof replaced a few weeks ago. i know all of that junk stayed in their front yard for at least 2 or 3 days. I remember thinking, "If that were Texas Roofing Solutions, that would NOT happen!". Texas Roofing did a bang-up job. Even with last month's horrible tornadoes, (and my home did take a beating), no roof issues that I can see. i can't say that for neighbors (I can see shingles missing, etc. from others' homes). Great company. Very personable. And again, everything they said they were going to do, they did - without hesitation. And oh by the way, were there every step of the way during the whole insurance thing....Looking out for my best interest all the way. I would use them again without hesitation, and would highly recommend them to anyone who's a novice at this roofing stuff and needs a helping hand to walk them through the replacement process. Call these guys. You won't regret it. As a side note, I graded them an "A" in all categories except responsiveness (gave them a "B", since there's no "A-"). They were very responsive, except for a couple of times where I felt like i had to chase them down. But even then, they'd follow-up with me, and we were back on track. Just being as honest as possible. But please note: That would not stop me from recommending them. The bottom line is, these guys are very good at what they do, and VERY fair and VERY HONEST. For these three reasons, I would use them again and again....and would recommend that you do the same...! They're good.

Let me just preface this review by indicating that I am a licensed insurance adjuster with property knowledge. I had hail damage from the 5/24/11 storm and other storms since. I was getting a bunch of people walking up to my door on a daily basis offering, telling, begging me to let them on my roof to do a "free inspection". I refused, to let anyone on my roof for fear they would create damage and/or fall off, get hurt and sue me! Don't laugh, I've seen it before! Anyway, I told everyone that came to my door that I do not hire solicitors.I finally decided to get in touch with my insurance company to look at my roof. What you don't realize is that you do not need to pay for anyone to inspect your roof, the insurance company will do it for free. Once I had the estimate and the check, I scoured Angie's List. I found and got in touch with all three companies. I initially set them up on different days M-W. However, Mike from Texas Roofing Solutions came out on Monday and as he is also a licensed adjuster, he was able to speak my language. Which is funny because my husband had no idea what we were talking about. We set up the date and he explained everything that would happen. I was told it would be a one day job and that they would have 12-15 men on my roof in addition to a project manager who may or may not be on the roof, so don't be surprised if he is standing around watching them work. My house is 1200 sf not including the 2 car attached garage. I was also informed that they would start at 7:30a. The morning of, I was waiting on them starting at 7a. They started to pull up at 7:10a and everyone was on the roof at 7:28a. I had 2 project managers and 14 men on my roof! They really did manage the job. The men were like ants and they worked extremely well together. From what I gather, they work together all the time. My one and only concern was the basketball game was coming on in the early afternoon and I didn't want to miss a semi-final game. The crew worked and didn't even take lunch. They were done and cleaned up by 12:30p. They cleaned up all throughout the day, my front yard, back yard, and patio looked better after they left then when they started! And at the end of the day when the men were doing their final clean-up, they made sure that my satellite dish was working and I had a clear picture. Once again, no problems. And, by that time, I ended up having 2 mgrs, Mike, and another representative of the company there, they were all there to make sure I was happy and satisfied. I was over the moon excited! A brand new roof in a 1/2 day and they were 90 minutes ahead of the game! The only finger I lifted was to plug in a cord and the TV remote to tell them if the dish was properly aligned. I would recommend only this company to do your roofing work! You cannot go wrong. You cannot imagine the stories I hear and read being an adjuster. They did such a good job that I won't have need to use them again, but I will recommend them on Angie's List!

Noticed shingles in my yard after recent storms so I was looking for roofer to do the minor repairs. Texas Roofing came up on Angie's List as highly rated in my area. Bill was very responsive and set up an appt. for the following day. He and Terry were on time and quickly assessed the damage, provided a quote and set the repair appt.. Repairs were made as promised. I will definitely call them again for any roofing repairs...big or small.

Went great overall. Only negative I could say was he called to reschedule the appointment but it was couple hours before he was suppose to be there so I appreciated that and not calling at the scheduled time or later to tell me that so was fine by me. He came out did the inspection of the roof. Seem to be very honest and straight forward. Didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need as roof was in good shape. He got the inspection report back to me the next business day so we could get to our insurance company. I would definitly call him if anything needs done on our roof.

Good it cost me a few extra for to repair my directv feed that was messed up in the process.i just not have had time to contact them about it and they agreed to have it fix. yes i would use them again but i hope not too.

They are amazing. First of all I call them late and they promise to call me back. Matt called the same day ~8PM and set an appointment for me at my earliest convenience since I was out of town.They suggested multiple action plans. And provided the estimate RIGHT ON TIME.We applied the logical steps to fix the leak. Waited for the rain and then found and applied action plan two.Again Matt and Bill were great and their professionalism is hard to find this days.

I was disappointed to know that the scope of their abilities in roofing seem very limited, but I have to respect their honesty. I'm thankful that other Roofing Companies with "A' ratings on this site are capapble of doing the repairs and gave me estimates. My father is elderly and his home is in bad need of some repairs, and it is not covered by his insurance. Now that I am in a postion to help I wanted to pay to get some repairs done. I contacted Texas Roofing Solutions and Terry Jackson came out to do an estimate on my father's roof on Jan. 4, 2012. The roof leaks and some of the decking is in bad condition. I emailed Terry after he came out to request the estimate be emailed to me and this is the reply I received 2 days later: Good Morning Angela, After inspecting your roof and visiting with the owner of Tx. Roofing, we will not be able to help you. As a company we stand behind our work unconditionally. The condition of your flat roof would require it to have new decking and probably new rafters. There would be no way to guarantee it not to leak again. As a company we have decided not to work on flat roofs anymore. Thank you for considering us for your roofing needs. All the best to you. Finished in one day, no issues, very attentive to clean-up detail, very interested in answering questions/making sure client was satisfied.

My roof was damaged in one of the May 2011 hail storms. I waited until after the brutal Summer of 2011 to have the roof replaced. We had several contractors stop by to give us quotes (both invited and otherwise). Matt Smith with Texas Roofing Solutions did much more than just give us a quote. He spent a lot of extra time with us to explain exactly what he saw when inspecting the roof, explain to us exactly what needed to be done, explained to us how his quote compared to competitors (both quotes we already had and might receive in the future), and he helped us to understand what to watch out for on cheaper quotes (i.e. corners cut, inferior materials, etc.). I felt educated and informed after Matt left our house. After we hired Texas Roofing Solutions, Matt worked very well with me and my insurance company to maximize our return on the claim and ensure that we were not shorted in key areas by the insurance company. He was always available to answer any questions and/or give advice. The crew was punctual, ready to answer any questions, speedy, and thorough. One thing that impressed me...I have DirecTV, and they did such a good job and were so conscientious that I didn't even have to realign the dish after the roof was completed. What a plus that was! After contacting my insurance company, I searched Angie's list to find a quality local roofing company and selected Texas Roofing Solutions. Terry, the sales manager, came by, inspected the roof and concurred that it was damaged by hail and wind. An adjuster from my insurance company set an appointment to inspect the roof at 9:00am on a Saturday. Terry met him and they both spent about an hour checking out the roof. The adjuster's report, complete with digital photos, was forwarded to the insurance company. A week or so later, the company finished their damage assessment and approved what they thought was a reasonable amount for a roof replacement - minus a deductable, of course. After working out details with Terry, we set a work date for the replacement. On that date the 6 man crew arrived about 7:30am and started working. They were done with all of the services listed above by 4:30pm or so, including cleanup. I don't even remember hearing them stop working for lunch. The satellite dish was still optimally aimed and needed no further adjustment. Well done. Quality work within budget - that's hard to find nowadays but Texas Roofing Solutions had no problems performing well beyond my expectations. I will recommend them to anyone who needs a roof replacement.

We can’t say enough about how pleased we are with Texas Roofing Solutions. They went above and beyond our expectations. First of all, they are extremely professional - showed up when they said they would, returned calls promptly, called to follow-up many times throughout the process, and stopped by several times to check on things. They were able to do it in one day and were very good about cleaning up afterwards. We had an old roof to start with and then suffered a lot of hail damage. We had an insurance adjuster come out prior to calling TRS but Matt (with TRS) found other issues that the adjuster missed. He took it from there and worked directly with our insurance company. He had another adjuster come out and was able to work with him to get everything covered by our insurance – much appreciated. A major problem with our roof occurred as they were tearing off the old roof – our rafters had come apart and we hadn’t even known it. They repaired it for us at cost – again, much appreciated. All in all, a great experience!

I called several places. They were very patient and very knowledgeable. He was a good listener and he explained everything in detail on a level that I could understand. They showed up when they were supposed to. They called me back promptly and they were knowledgeable on what they were doing. He used the word whatever that is something that my grandchildren say but we cleared that up.

They were excellent with everything. They worked in 107 degree weather. They were very fast and effective. The work was excellent. They stood out for being able to work in the terrible heat.

The estimate was given and a date for the work was given. They showed up on the named date promptly at 8:00AM. They had a crew of about 15 people. They replaced my roof in one day. They cleaned up after themselves. They made the process easy. I would highly recommend them.My insurance covered most of it but they kept the cost of our deductable (2,500) down to about 900.00

The work was done very efficently by a crew of a dozen roofers. They were respectful of the landscaping and made sure to clean up throurghly when they were done. The roof we selected was the 30 year composition shingles, and the appearance is identical to the original work by a custom home builder. The recommendation by another customer we knew was a big factor to us.

They were very good. After I get the gutters painted, I'll get somebody else to redo it. My experience with them was very positive. They worked with the insurance estimator. They did everything they needed to do. The clean up was good. The job was efficient and well done and I had no problems. Price; I don't have any reference, all I know is that the insurance company paid for and I paid my deductable of $1000. I don't have a good feel, I didn't have it estimated. Their responsiveness is very good. I would definitely use them in the future and recommand them to anybody.

Terry (Sales Manager) and Scott (Project Manager) were very professional and this can also be said for the men that installed both the new roofing shingles and the new seamless gutters. They were all very conciderate of our time and property as well as that of our neighbors. The shingles were installed in one day and they cleaned up after themselves afterwards. The next day the gutters were installed in a few hours and again they cleaned up after themselves. Being that this is a local company (and listed in Angie's list), we felt very comfortable allowing this company to perform the work and should there services be needed in the future, we will, without hesitation, use them again.
