We have used Mike Nichols on 2 separate occasions. First to replace our hot water heater (his price of $900 was MUCH better than the other 3 companies I called) and a second time to fix a slab leak ($800). Both times we felt we were is desperate situations (without hot water in the middle of winter with a baby at home and the second time when the house was totally flooded due to the slab leak) and both times Mike pulled through, had his crew out to the house very quickly, and didn't leave until he was certain that we had water. They are extremely honest and helpful and I trust them immensely. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company and recommend them without hesitation.

I was putting my house on the market 3/6 when my kitchen sink sprung a leak on 3/5. I called my general contractor for the house we are remodeling and he sent over his plumber - Mike Nichols right away. Mike was able to tell what was wrong immediately and he even explained why the home warranty plumber had not been able to fix the issue on his prior visits. Mike fixed the issue within 10 minutes and said the problem would never happen again. I'm super happy that he will be working on our next house.

Terrible communication from Nichols.

His employee Larry came out to clean a slow kitchen drain at the cleanout. He used a snake that was too large and punched a hole in the 90 degree drain elbow. This caused a slab leak. I called a slab leak expert in the area and he put in writing that this slab leak was caused by the drain cleanout. I was given an estimate to fix the slab leak for the plumber alone of $1200-$1500 and told that I would also need to hire a concrete repairman and a floor repairman because the kitchen cabinets would need to be removed, a hole cut in the floor and concrete drilled out, then all this would need to be replaced and/or fixed. I called Mike Nichols to fix the problem but he said the pipes were old so he refused take responsibility and fix the problem. He should have been more careful knowing the house is older.
