My pool was in terrible shape from the winter, worst than I have ever seen it, I reached out to Larry and he said that he could get to me the end of the week and he did as scheduled. He got the pool cleaned up and chemicals balanced. Two weeks later I call him again about the vacuum leak again he found time for me in his schedule. I'm not a weekly or monthly customer so Larry did go above an beyond to get me fixed up. Larry is the owner and he is the one that will service you, if I ever have a problem again that I can't figure out myself or can't find the time I will call Metropolis Pool Service, you'll love larry.

Metropolis Pools has been doing an exceptional job taking care of my pool for over 10 years. In addition to the weekly cleaning and chemical maintenance they also very capably handle any equipment repairs that need to be made from time to time. Any time I have to call about a problem I know I'll get a quick response from Larry. Management of the pool and equipment is one thing I have confidence that I don't have to worry about!

They have been servicing my pool for a year and a half. Whenever they come out just to do the chemicals and if I have an issue, I can mention it to them. He'll look out right away. If he can't fix it, he'll fix it. That is what he did for me on Saturday. My pool pump had gone out, and in this weather I had gone through my home warranty company and they could not even get to me for a week. I mentioned to him the issue. He turned around and told me he thought he knew what it was, had the part and fixed it on the spot. Their prices are very comparable. It is hit and miss as to when they will show up sometimes. I would definitely use them in the future.

They come every week on Tuesdays. They have done a good job. We had a little problem about getting the right person. There was a miscommunication about when somebody was supposed to come, and they missed a week. Well, we got all that straightened out. It has been fine since then. I have not been with them long enough to give them outstanding. I am just waiting to see on a longer term how it works out. The price is about average for the area so there are few there that are like a dollar cheaper, but they were a long way off. The quality of their work that they had done has always been an A; it is just that it has been inconsistent, but once they got going, it has been fine. Their responsiveness has been excellent because when there was a problem, they fixed it immediately.

Larry was very nice and gave quick assessment of things needing to be done. We scheduled appointment times with him both days and he was 10-15 minutes late each time but he did the work and completed it very well. He was very curteous and took the time to answer my questions. He showed me how to clean the filter myself and we will be calling him out again in the future for other things that need to be done. The problem we had with the water was we had been given bad advice by someone else about how ,uch Chlorine needed to be added year round. We had dangerouse levels of chlorine which needed to be drained out just before swimming season here. We appreciate everything Larry did for us and had some questions for him after he left. Larry answered our calls or returned them very quickly. Use him for your pool services if you are looking for someone who is reliable.

I scheduled several days in advance to have a diving board removed and to receive a "Pool 101" introductory instruction. Services were scheduled for mid-morning. No one showed and No One called to indicate they would be late or weren't coming to perform the service. I called mid- to late afternoon and reached an answering machine. I received a call back about an hour later and was told he was sick. He apologized and asked to reschedule. I politely declined. He later texted offering a free filter clean. I understand people get sick, however, all he had to do was let me know he couldn't make it. He could have phoned or texted but he did neither. I had to chase him down. His actions displayed a lack of reliability and professionalism.

I found Larry at Metropolis Pool Service on Angie's List and I am glad I did. Larry is very personable and professional. He is very knowledgeable and offers suggestions to improve the pool/filter system. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem with my pool (broken part inside the filter) and repair it. He also changed out a bad electrical switch. While he was repairing the filter I had him do a complete filter clean. Based on his professionalism I am contracting with Metropolis for weekly pool cleaning/chemicals. I highly recommend Larry to anyone needing pool service or repairs.

They were prompt in the project. The solution was great to my problem. From what I could tell, the prices were quite competitive.

Larry came out and found that the pool was leaking around the skimmer. He sealed the skimmer and that fixed the problem. I was also prepared to replace the entire main pump, but Larry advised that it was just a seal leak, so he ordered and then came back to replace the pump seal. Worth every penny. I highly recommend Larry for any pool maintenance.

Answered the phone and came to take a look at our leaking pump. Gave us several options at different price points to solve our issue. Once we made a choice was able to come the next day and fix our pump! Gave an honest opinion on our heater situation. I will definitely use them again and recommend them!!!

First of all, he was prepared. He had the products on hand, so I didn't have to wait for him to order them. I watched him the whole time. He tuned up the heater as well. He tested everything.

Based on a referral from a friend i called Larry to replace a Hayward booster pump that had stopped working. Larry came out and confimed that the motor had stopped working and advised that it was as cheap to replace the whole pump as it would be to replace just the motor. Larry came back two days later and replaced the pump. Also told me my salt was low and put a bag in the pool for free after i had already paid for the work. The service was exceptional.

I am really pleased. It is a terrific situation and I am happy with them. He is consistent and shows up when he is supposed to. If he can't make it on a certain day, he let me know. I can always get a hold of him. They do an excellent job.
