Landscape By Design

Landscape By Design took two weeks to call me back after I submitted an inquiry online. That should have been a warning. An appointment was eventually made for John Scott to visit my property and discuss my project. During the appointment, John did all the things one would expect. He wrote notes, took pictures, and collected a survey of my property to work from. As he was leaving though, he turned to me and said he was very busy and the "squeaky wheel gets the grease with him". I assumed this meant I should just be patient. I wasn't in any particular hurry, so I thought "no big deal". Nearly two months go by, and I hear nothing from him. I finally decide to be the squeaky wheel and reach out to see what was going on. He responded that he was very busy with other projects. He didn't apologize for the delay, and oddly he couldn't even give me an estimate on when he could even start my project (after it already being in his queue for nearly two months). It was weird, so I cancelled the work. I "think" they are nice people, but be prepared for zero communication and to be a "squeaky wheel" in order for them to do anything in a reasonable amount of time. If you want your landscape project done within 4+ months - I'd look elsewhere. I honestly think they would agree with that statement too.
