Horrible, everything seemed great until just before scheduled start date. Ed and his team missed the install date by 4 days. House was measured incorrectly and as a result, there was a shortage of tile and carpet measurements had to be adjusted. Tear out began under the assumption that the shortage of tile would arrive within the next day. The next day arrives and the tile installer shows up just to clean up, pick up his tools and lets me knows that he quit and apologizes. From there it got worse, Ed and his installation manager sub contract a tile installer that was capable of laying tile but had zero attention to detail. The tile work got finished, but up against the wall in one of the rooms, instead of cutting tile to fill the 3 inch gap the sub contractor just loaded up the gap with grout. Also the subcontractor didn’t mix the grout correctly so the grout is discolored like a ty-die nightmare. After conclusion of the tile nightmare it took 3 weeks to still not get the color carpet we wanted. We ended up selecting two different carpet remnants that Ed and his team had in their warehouse. We had to do something as the lease on our apartment was coming to an end and we needed to get out. After a continuous series of missed promises and installation nightmares the house was completed even if it had two different carpets installed. Ed and his team even started to ignore my phone calls towards the end. It got so bad that we had to drive the 40 minutes to their store JUST to talk them and get the install to come to a conclusion. Ed and his team (with the exception of Brent he Installation manager) were very unapologetic for the series of events.

First they ordered the wrong wood because their sales couldn’t recognize the difference between red oak and maple. That was on 8/22. Today is 10/14 and they have still not started the job. I guess my mistake, I know better, was in paying in full up front. While that should make me a great customer sadly I’ve been treated and talked to like I’m second class and no one seems to be the least bit interested in resolving the issue. NO ONE calls me to give me the latest excuse I just have to track them down myself.
