DURAFINISH BATH REFINISHING

Not good, overspray on tile, as this is Warrenty reaping a blister that came up. The paint used was over sprayed on wall tile.

Friendly guy who did an overall great job. There was some imperfections after it was sprayed that he noticed and he sanded them down and fixed it. Shows he cares about his work.

Tub looks great. Steve did a wonderful job, and the price was fair.

Everything went wonderful. He walked in, and introduced himself. He did not waste not time, and was on time. Everything worked out good. The guy that came out had an outstanding personality, and communicated very well. I was really happy with his work. I got other quotes, and his was by far the lowest for the work.

He had a good price, but something came up and I could not spend the money at the time. So, I did not have it done yet. He was good to responding to e-mails. He sounded very willing to work around our schedule. I will definitely contact him again. We have a really old bathtub and he told me that he would resurface it.

We took a 1925 vintage claw foot tub from my wife's mother's house for refinishing. The tub was in bad shape after almost 90 years. The refinished tub, interior and exterior blew us away...it is almost brand new!!!

The finish has revitalized the older bath tub and shower.

I attempted to contacted Durafinish three times and always got a voice mail. I left them messages with them all three times with the nature of the job. I never got a call back from them. I'm not real sure how they achieved an A rating.

He was responsive, detailed and honest in what he could accomplish with painting the tile (we talked to 5 other companies). He was right-on with his time schedule as well as the floor replacement. We asked for a turn-key service and that is what he provided. He gave us details about what would happen each day and prepared us for the work - excellent job! I think the most impressive thing is this bathroom gets a LOT of action and I was just simply busy after he completed it but we've just gone through so much heavy use & as I was cleaning the tub this weekend, I am still amazed how well the tub and countertop continues to hold up!

The bath looked great after completion but there are a few caveats that should be noted. The finish got scratched by plumber and tiler for which I got some small compensation. There is also another dime-sized spot separate from this that has flaked. Messages left with the finisher were ignored as to a follow up finish and the cost of such. Another recent issue is that my grandson dyed his hair and left some blue streaks (nothing to do with scratches) that are difficult to remove. Durafinish has no FAQ to assist the consumer with these kind of issues. You'd think there would be some product to correct the scatchs or some cleaner to remove the dye other than trial and error.. Caveat emptor.

I called and they gave me estimate and date and time. He showed up on time and was very courteous and professional. The job entailed a little extra work but he honored the estimate he had quoted. The tub looks great.

I am very pleased with the results. The tub looks great. Steve did an excellent job prepping the room and protecting other surfaces as well as cleaning up. I would absolutely recommend this service and provider to anyone who has been thinking about having a tub refinished.

We are really pleased and definitely recommend Steve. He did a fabulous job on the bath tub. (And here we thought we were going to have to completely redo the room!) And then he came back and resurrected our damaged kitchen sink. He advised us that doing the entire sink would be messy and not worth the expense, but that he could patch it up. He did and it looks really good. We would definitely call him first if we need this sort of work.

They did a good job because it looks good and thus far, has been functional. Their demeanor was good; they were friendly and professional. Their pricing was good.

They did a good job. We had contractors come in after he did the job and scratched the tub. I called him to have him come back and fix it and was willing to pay for it but he never called me back.

I thought he was very efficient and clean. The refinishing had a lot chemicals and there was the smell. He had this exhaust system that exhausted it. I guess it expelled the air out of the window and so you are left with very little odor. You can smell it but it was very little. I thought that was good. It was a pink tub and it actually turned into an absolutely gorgeous white tub. He was quick. Overall, I was very pleased. I would use them again and I would recommend them.

Arrived at appointment time. Very pleasant and professional. Explained what he was going to do and how long it would take Came back next day to get equipment (fan) etc. that was needed ovenight. Great clean-up. Arrived for this also on time.Durafinish is the perfect business to use when you n eed to have your bathtub refinished. Highly recommend.!!!!!! .Bob came in and perform flawless work. He is a true craftsman with great attention to detail and with a creative eye as well. After reviewing his initial work, we asked him to continue on and redo all our bathroom tubs and countertops/sinks. Now we are so thrilled with his quality of work that we are now waiting for him to have an schedule opening to get him to redo our whole kitchen counters and even repaint our 1970's Harvest Gold colored oven and electric cook top to match our current appliances (not Harvest Gold!). We feel we are in a new house! WE have total confidence in Bob's quality and work ethic. Thank you Angie's List for providing us with his name!

He only took 2 days to finish the job. The first day he prepared the surfaces, applied a primer coat, and applied the finish. The second day he reassembled everything, removed the tape and paper used to protect the surroundings, and cleaned up.

They were good, responsive and performed the service as quoted.
