Angel and his crew did an outstanding job. The work was done on time, professionally and neatly. I was very impressed and relieved to find that I had hired such an outstanding contractor. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Angel for work in the future.

They were on time and did a quality job. They accommodated our schedule. They were easy to work with and professional. Their price was very reasonable.

AHS accepted and timely completed the job. We sold the house the DAY AFTER WE PUT IT ON THE MARKET!! In large part, I credit this quick sale to AHS. The entire house looked brand new and squeaky clean. All cupboards were clean and smelled fresh, light fixtures and ceiling fans were bright, painted mirror looked new (not a scratch), bathroom fixtures, countertops and floors all sparkled. Most impressive were the windows: the windows create a spacious, open feel to the entire space - when they are dirty, the place is gloomy, even if the rest of the house is actualy clean. The windows were sparkling bright making a huge difference in the feel of the house giving the house a sense of warmth and freshness. The clean windows made the house feel full of good energy and optimism. Obviously, prospective buyers felt the results. I bought a home that had been severly neglected and needed a lot of repair. I spent hours creating a very detailed list of work to be performed and integrated it into a contract with beginning and ending dates as well as prices. Angel wanted to break the job into two parts - inside and outside - with three pay dates. When he started the inside, I paid him 1/2 of the labor for the inside. When he finished the inside and started the outside, I paid him the final 1/2 of the inside plus 1/2 of the labor for the outside. When he finished the outside, I paid him the balance. I purchased several "Lowes" cards at $1000 each for Angel to use to purchase materials as the job progressed. He provided the receipts to me as the cards were used. Toward the end of the job, Angel had me create "pick lists" of work items that remained or needed adjustment. Even with a carefully crafted list, some items inevitably were either not clear or were omitted. Angel was fair with me when pricing new items and adjusting for minor miscommunications. He contracted to complete the job in two months and finished three weeks early. Overall, his workers were pleasant, the work was done well, and he treated me fairly. I would use him again.

He did his job well and fixed everything tidily. He was professional, responsive and the quality of service was excellent.

I called originally in December wanting to get the work done before Christmas but they were too busy and I had to schedule in January. Angel had come in December to give me an estimate. He was scheduled to come on January 12th at 8:00. He was about 45 minutes late which made a difference to me since I had to go to work but once they got there, they made very good time with good results. Don't expect to get the work done right away because they are a small company and keep very busy. They are worth waiting for.

We were pleased with their work. They were prompt and very reliable.

Due to a shifting foundation, we had some serious cracks in our drywall. When I asked for a quote for the repair of the cracks, he responded promptly, came by our house and gave us a competitive price. Angel and his helper always showed up on time, put a lot of effort in cleaning up the mess, and did a good job overall. We ran out of our spare paint, and he got us some new paint in exactly the correct color. Everything was fixed in about a week or so. The only small negative is that he did not use the exact same texturing as is used in the rest of the house, since he did not have the equipment for that.

He was very professional and cordial. He talked to me about the different options I had and offered some alternatives to what I wanted done. I was very pleased.

The company did not show up! I had so much other stuff going on at the time that it was not really a big deal to me, but they will not be receiving my business! If they do not show up, they do not get the business!

He did a great job. Took care of all the problems and kept us informed all the way. We loved working with him so much that we have booked another job with him soon.

Angel and his assistant were friendly, accommodating and professional from beginning to end. They did a great job with all the tasks we gave them, from removing as many as five(!) layers of wallpaper to patching up the walls underneath the wallpaper to painting the majority of the interior of our house. As the job progressed there were unexpected challenges (who knew there'd be so much wallpaper?!), but Angel was more than willing to take on the extra work (sometimes for little or no extra charge). They also did a good job of cleaning up after themselves each day, using up as little space as possible for their equipment. All of this was done at a VERY reasonable price. This is my first home and therefore the first time I have had to deal with painters and other contractors. Angel dealt with my insecurities and my inability to make decisions (we changed paint colors in the middle of the job!) with patience and professionalism, even giving me advice when I asked him for it (he did not volunteer his opinion, since he feels it is not his place to give unsolicited advice). He is very interactive, and many times he asked me to come look at things before he continued (usually when there was a problem that needed special attention). Luckily I was on vacation and was around most of the time he was there. One room required a more advanced paint technique that Angel is not familiar with (he's really more of a basic, straightforward painting kind of guy). He was honest and said he did not think he could do it, but offered to bring in someone who knew how to do it (for extra money, of course). In the end I got a couple of friends and we did it ourselves, but I really appreciate Angel's integrity--he could have tried to fake it, but he didn't, and I respect that. Over time it became very clear to me that Angel is EXTREMELY protective of his reputation, and he doesn't want to do anything to ruin it--again, I respect that a lot. I have received a lot of compliments on Angel's work, and I have already recommended him to several of my friends. I look forward to working with him in the future.

I moved into a house that had been seriously neglected for 10 years. I thought about selling it "as is" to the highest bidder, but couldn't due to the current economic crisis. Angel's Home Solutions to the rescue! Angel met me on time for an estimate. I promptly received the written estimate the next day. His wife, Terry, handles the written correspondence and she is very prompt and professional. The repairs had to be delayed almost two months due to foundation and plumbing repairs. When I was finally ready to start, Angel was ready to start. We had severe cracks in our walls due to foundation movement. He did the taping and bedding for the entire house before he painted the walls, doors and ceilings, and it looks as good as new! In addition to the fact that Angel had to scrape the texture off all the walls first, I also used multiple paint colors so the job was much more labor intensive than was originally expected. He suggested the wall scraping because the final product would look better. It made a huge difference! Our floors were also cracked and they were bare concrete. Angel worked with me on which flooring would be best for each room. I decided on a combination of tile and laminate. The transitions between the flooring are seamless. His tile work is fantastic! I chose some very small tile that required more attention to detail but again, it turned out beautifully. We are perhaps the happiest with the bathroom that he gutted and remodeled. Initially, we were only going to repair and replace tiles. Angel informed me that there was serious wood rot behind the tile. He explained the effect the wood rot would have in time. We decided to redo the whole room. He even tore down and re-did the sheetrock in the room. He built a walk-in shower where there once was an old tub. The shower is floor to wall tile. It is amazing!

There was a language barrier, because he spoke broken English, so it was hard to communicate with him. He also insisted I buy lead based paint for the two doors, which has to be done over because of my grandchildren. He is fine for small repair jobs, but not for painting.

Absolutely wonderful. He's like god send! It was one guy and a helper. Besides painting he also patched the drywall and textured it and painted it.

Angel and Mike arrived on a Monday and removed the old popcorn texture ceiling and the old paste on the wall. The next afternoon, Angel came in and painted the ceiling. The next afternoon, Angel and Mike continued painting my daughters room. Angel had mentioned that he would wait one day for the paint to dry before placing the wall paper border on the wall. The following Monday, Angel and Mike painted the rest of my daughters room and placed fans and opened the bedroom window to allow the paint to dry. That afternoon, they placed the border on the wall. Angel mentioned that the paste on the border may not hold the border to the wall. Angel and Mike also helped me move a heavy fireplace from out of my living room onto the street and then placed drywall in the areas that were exposed at a cost for the drywall, although it was not part of the contract. The next day I noticed that the wall that was dryed when the border was placed on the wall when it was dry stayed on the wall. The area on the wall were it was not dried, the wall paper peeled from the wall. There was also area's on the border and on the ceiling that were not painted completely. I called Angel and expressed my concern and mentioned that my daughters mother was upset about these discrepancies. Angel said that he would come by after 1:00 p.m. and repair his work. At 4:00 p.m. Angel and Mike came by my home and repaired the work. I called Angel and asked him when he would be able to come by my house to paint the kitchen and living room. Angel said that he would not be able to paint my living room and kitchen because he could not work by my schedule, although he had already agreed to work on my schedule. Once Angel corrected the bedroom the second time, I was pleased with his work.

The job was excellent. Angel is punctual, cleans up daily and after total project, and resonabbly priced for quality work. I would use him again without hesitation. He did much of the work himself and directly supervised any subs or helpers.

Angel prepared our mother's house for sale. He did a great job, showed up when he said he would and completed all of the work on time. His estimate was right on the mark except for the jobs we added after he started. He was polite, helpful and made suggestions that he thought would improve the work. We gave him a home improvement store gift card to buy supplies and he provided receipts on everything. He found the carpet, brought us samples to choose from and handled everything in getting it to the house and installed. We only had to purchase the appliances and tile. He cleaned up as he went along and the overall quality of his work was excellent. We hired his wife to clean the entire house after he finished work. It was a great experience working with them and they did an awesome job.

Angel arrived exactly on time for an estimate. We scheduled a time one week in the future to perform the work. He arrived exactly on time again. He and I went to the home improvement store to buy materials. He explained clearly the options available. He performed the work cleanly, quickly, efficiently, and expertly. When the new door was sticking the next day he promptly came back and fixed it even though the problem was due to my mistake. The price was exactly on par with the estimate and perfectly reasonable. Angel will definitely be coming back to my house for any other projects I have.

It went very well, he was on time, and there on the days he said he would be. Very polite and neat. Kept excellent records on supply cost. Willing to discuss any ideas we had. We are using him again on another project.

Angel scheduled me in quickly to look at the problem. He came back to troubleshoot the wiring and installed a new fixture that I wanted installed.

Angel is a very fast worker, and on day 1, he and his helper removed wallpaper in a bathroom, and retexturized and painted the walls as well as the ceiling. To gain access to the entire area, he removed the toilet tank, all towel bars, and the light fixture. He put exactly the right texture I wanted: a light "orange peel." He also spray painted the popcorn ceilings in 3 other rooms. One of the rooms had a border of wallpaper at the top of the wall all around the room, which I had forgotten to remove ahead of time. Angel removed it without any increase in his original price. On day 2, he came back to reinstall the fixtures on the dry walls. I had commented that I wanted to get a new wall light in the near future, and he said if I'd get the light before he returned, he would install the new one - which he did. At the beginning of the project, he was careful to cover all furniture, etc., with plastic before he spray painted, but I wish he had put a cover on the hall carpet as it did get a little dirty with foot traffic. Some wallpaper pieces were also left on the floor inside the bathroom linen closet, and the living room wall next to the work area was a little smudged.

It went well, they were here when they said they would be here. Angel and his crew arrived promptly at 8 am and worked steadily until 4:30 pm, taking a reasonable 30 -45 minute lunch break. They covered things that should not be painted and cleaned up at the end of each day. The painting quality was great. Any problem was quickly corrected. Angel was very intent on making sure I was happy with the quality of his crew's work.

We found Angel off of Angie's List and we could not be happier! He is everything that has been described here and more! His wife, Theresa, handles the setting of appointments and questions, etc. She is very polite and always returns your calls quickly. Angel came out and gave us an estimate several days after we called. He is very busy with lots of work and we waited 2 1/2 weeks for an opening for our work. He was worth the tiny wait time, and his work was excellent. After having had much repair work done on our older home of the past few years, we are always nervous hiring someone. Angel is such a responsible, excellent painter. He is much more than a painter, he is an excellent carpenter, too. He showed up with his assistant Mike at 8:00 every morning. He is prompt and he never dawdles; he is always in constant motion, they both were. They clean up after themselves, did I mention tidy? Well, I am so pleased that although the work done created lots of dust/havoc, they did there best to contain it and cleaned up completely after themselves. Every piece of plastic, sheetrock, everything was cleaned up. He does have the homeowner to pay for the supplies separate from his work cost, which is very reasonable. We purchased the Home Depot cards and put money on the and Angel used those to purchase all our needed supplies to do the work on our home. He provided all receipts for all merchandise purchased. He is very trustworthy. If you need your house painted, this is the guy!

Wonderful! Angel came to my home and performed a detailed inventory of the work and provided a bid after clarification. I requested that Angel contact me at work if he had any questions. Some of the work required that he contact me to let me know the status and options that I had. Angel contacted me immediately before doing anything that was discovered during the job. He also fixed other things around the house, such as the front door (it did not close smoothly) and additional caulking that needed done - without charge. Angel finished the work on time and showed me everything that was performed, ensuring that I was satisfied.
