It was just excellent. He called us back right away and came over within four or five hours. He discovered the problem immediately and put two seals on to prevent further leakage and did not charge us for the second one. He was courteous and quite wonderful. I would recommend him to anyone.

I would highly recommend Mr. Allgood for any plumbing needs. He arrived on time, discovered a problem that had been over looked by a competitor and completed the job for a substancial discounted price compared to my previous bid. Quality work, quality person, good price!

Tried to plunge the toilet snake the toilet and had to pull the toilet to get objection out of the toilet

This is the absolute best contractor I have ever worked with. Jerry and Bob are wonderful. They are polite, punctual, and great at listening to what I want. When I don't know what I want they guide me in the right direction. They have been to my home many times and I would not hesitate to have them come here when I'm not at home. I just keep throwing more and more at them and they never make me feel like I am a bother. We just moved to the Kingwood area from out of state and I am so pleased to find someone I can trust. I can not say enough good things about this company. Use them, I promise you won't regret it!

It went great. Very nice man. Very personable. Somebody you would like to have as your next door neighbor. He was very thoughtful. He removed his shoes at the front door. Explained how the drainage lines worked under the house ( I had no idea).

Jerry came out on a Sunday, which was great because we had no hot water. He stayed 3 hours. He was able to repair the 30 gallon tank with parts he had on hand. He watched it to make sure it worked properly and we had hot water that day. He had to order a new burner assembly for our 50 gallon tank. It was suppose to arrive on Thursday, but didn't arrive until Monday. It wasn't a big deal since we had plenty of hot water from the smaller tank. Jerry installed it & stayed an hour to make sure it worked properly. The price of $300 was more than fair for the amount of work involved. Jerry is a nice guy & easy to work with. I highly recommend him.

Jerry was very responsive. The work was done in the time frame I needed and within the estimated time. The jobsite was cleaned up. No issues were found. I would certainly use Allgood again and plan to in the near future for other work

The house had a water leak somewhere near the foundation where the main water line entered the house. The side of the house is slightly lower than the front and that is where the water puddled, but was not the place where the leak originated. Mr. Allgood quickly assessed the leak to be between the driveway and the main shut off valve at the front of the house and made a quick repair to the water line, without uprooting the flower beds, driveway or foundation. His experience paid up big time for us.

Jerry Allgood repaired the leak on my water heater within an hour. He did a complete and good job. he was very responsive to questions and let me know exactly what he was doing and why.

He eliminated our concerns about a leak in the wall and then he determined that the sewer line was broken up and that I needed new lines in the front yard. I opted to wait for my son to dig the lines for free.

WONDERFUL! I called Jerry at 7 a.m. on Monday morning and he met me at my house just after 5:30 pm (appt time). I explained the situation briefly and he arrived with parts and tools in-hand. When he arrived at the door, he took his shoes off without hesitation (a practice he does no matter how many times he has to come in and out of your house) and was courteous and professional. Jerry explained that he's provided plumbing services for 30 years or more in the Kingwood-Woodlands area. He asked if I needed a receipt (he provided) and he was on his way. Thanks to other Angie's List members for their reviews and recommendations -- I would definitely recommend Jerry to anyone needing honest plumbing work in the Kingwood-Humble-Atascocita-Woodlands-Conroe areas -- he's a no-frills expert who gets in, does great work, and moves on to the next job.

Jerry Allgood—of Allgood Plumbing—was great! After talking with several large plumbing companies and fretting under the weight of crazy-high bids, it was refreshing to talk with Mr. Allgood. His bid to replace my toilet and sink was very reasonable, and he was incredibly flexible in scheduling the appointment to do the work. I told him I was worried about having to take off of work for the appointment, and he offered to come out during the evening. And he did! He was personable, worked very efficiently, and kept the work area incredibly clean throughout the process. The toilet and sink work great. I feel like I’ve found a plumber I can trust and depend on.

I really like him he is really a good guy. He is very prompt and has a great price . He is also very knowledgable he really knew what he was doing. I would use him again.

Jerry is a professional, in every sense of the word. We've used him several times now and his work is always top-notch, he responds and works quickly, and he gets the job done. His fees are very reasonable, and he is always helpful and thorough. When he installed our garbage disposal, there was a problem with the top seal and the unit leaked - Jerry has returned twice (after we had to order new seals) and solved the problem for no additional charges. HIGHLY recommend Jerry for any plumbing needs. In addition to his work, he's very friendly and easy to work with.

I contacted Jerry via Angie's List. Took awhile for him to respond because he had to get a new computer, but once he did we discussed the project and he gave me a price. At that time I told him I was waiting on a new garbage disposal to be delivered, and would call him once it arrived. The house had not previously had a garbage disposal, so the installation would involve changing the piping under the sink as well as the drain in the sink. A few days later Jerry called and asked about if the garbage disposal had shown up. It had, so he offered to come out that day and install it, and we agreed. While I wasn't home when Jerry showed up and did the installation, my wife was quite pleased with him. He had to look at the project and then run to get some parts, but he completed the work in a very timely manner and did a very good job. His price was exactly what he had quoted me. The installation was done very well and we are quite pleased with Jerry's services. We will definitely use in in the future for other plumbing projects or repairs.

The guy is very knowledgeable; he knows what he is doing. He has really fair prices and he is punctual. He is a really good guy; I am really impressed with him. I paid him about $1,000 for the work he did for me. I have been using his services for about five months now and I would do so in the future as well.
