We appreciated Jack doing a thorough inspection. He pointed out potential issues that did not require immediate attention and climbed onto the roof to inspect the chimney. We had another provider add screens to the chimney in the past and he took some pictures to show that the work was only half done and some of the openings had missing screens. He suggested two ways to fix the issue and we elected to have him return to finish the work. We appreciated his knowledge and not trying to upsell us on services that he felt were not essential for safety. He made recommendations on when to replace the posterior wall of the fireplace and adding hardy plank to the chimney. He also swept out our chimney so we are primed for the winter months. We will definitely call him in the future for any chimney needs!

Went well. Very impressed - made sure I knew the deal was for cleaning and inspecting. Performed work quickly and on time. Also found out how he bills for critter removal. Wish I would have known about him when we had critters in our attic. -- Like his critter -attic warranty.

I had an awful smell coming from my dryer and was getting ready to leave on vacation for a week. Wolfram Chimney came out quickly in order to address the problem before I left on vacation. They were very thorough. In the process they found a bird's nest was blocking my dryer vent and cleaned that out saving me from a potential fire hazard and allowing my dryer to work better. In addition, they went above and beyond when we could not find the source of the smell, even taking about my dryer for us to examine it thoroughly. I would highly recommend their services.

We used the Big Deal to get the Chimney Cleaned, we knew we had another need to have some repairs done and he validated that and is coming back to do that this week. Nice guy, great service, looking forward to having a safe chimney for the next polar vortex!

Very disappointing! Said he was going out of town and would return and call in a couple of days to make appointment to set traps and remove critter. That was two weeks ago, and he has not called or returned as promised to complete the work for which I had already paid him.

Wolfman Chimney Critter and Wildlife called me promptly after I purchased the deal. He was prompt and on time for the appointment. He inspected my chimney completely including from the rooftop. He said that the chimney wasn't dirty and wasn't ready to be cleaned yet. Everything was working well. I asked him a ton of questions and he was very helpful. Because he didn't have to clean it, he offered me a credit for my next visit but I felt he deserved the $$ because of his trip out and the chimney inspection, and, of course, my thousand questions. I thought he was great! I feel a lot more confident about my chimney now. I will use him again.

He quickly called to set appointment and on appointment day, called to ask if he could arrive early. He quickly figured out what needed to be done and completed the tasks in a timely manner. He even suggested some other things that should be done and said they would be included in the price. He cleaned up after himself and hauled the debris away. I would definitely use him again and refer him to my friends.

Wolfman Chimney Critter and Wildlife owner, Jack, quickly scheduled his visit after I purchased the service. He was very punctual in his arrival to my home. He quickly assessed the inside chimney situation. Then he spread a protective cloth on the living room floor to catch any debris that may appear from the chimney. He vacuumed the soot from the floor of the chimney. Then he took his broom sweep and added pole extensions to reach the top of the chimney from the base. To my surprise, he proclaimed the chimney was not cluttered with soot and debris from burning wood in the fireplace. Jack quickly proclaimed he would issue me a credit for this service as he could not in good conscience accept payment with the chimney being in such good condition. He issued me a credit that is good for a repeat service without an expiration. Jack was completely professional in his work. In fact I was quite impressed with his knowledge of his new business and eagerness to do the best job and provide the most honest performance of his expertise. He was extremely patient in answering all my questions and never once tried to talk around the question. I was impressed with his honesty and integrity. With Jack's positive attitude and ambition to do the best possible service, he should have a very successful business. I was extremely pleased with his manner to please the customer and tidy up after his cleaning service. I did not have to do any cleaning after he left the premises - a trait not followed by many contractors. I would gladly use his service again and look forward to any future offerings he may have.

This was an Angie's List deal for chimney inspection and cleaning. I had not had a chimney cleaning in a few years. The person I used in the past is no longer in business but had fully inspected the fireplace so I knew it was basically in good condition. After signing up for the deal Jack contacted me right away and was able to come on my first choice date. He called before coming to let me know he was on the way and arrived on time. He cleaned and inspected the interior and up on the roof. Upon completion he gave a written inspection report which contained one item recommended to fix - which he fully explained. No hard sell on doing the work right now. I will be recommending him to friends and will use again in the future.

I have been in my home for several years, and this is the first time I have had the chimney cleaned. Have only used the fireplace a few times since I didn't know what condition it was in, how long since it had been serviced/cleaned, and didn't want to risk having a chimney fire. Jack called about 15 minutes before the appointment time to let me know he was on his way, which I really appreciated since I am a woman living alone and am reluctant to open my door to strangers. He was very efficient and gave me a great deal of information about the condition of my fireplace and some recommendations for maintenance. He cleaned and painted the fire box and cleaned down the chimney from the roof . He also replaced necessary materials on the spark arrester to keep bugs and squirrels out. This is important since I have very large oak trees in the front and back yards, and the squirrels are constantly using my roof as a freeway back and forth over the roof and I do not want them to have access down through the chimney. At a future date I will call him to return and replace the cap, damper, and adapter. Would recommend him highly and will definitely use his services again. I asked him to leave several cards and have already started passing them out to friends.

After living in my home for 15 years it was time for some repairs and chimney cleaning. I called Jack and he was polite, honest and quick. He made an appointment to come to my home and give me the works. He cleaned my chimney, took pictures of some cracks allowing moisture into my fireplace and showed me some small cracks in my fireplace. He even had some suggestions of getting rid of some squirrels in my backyard as they were showing signs of trying to get in my attic. (a nightmare avoided). He then cleaned my dryer vents which may have been another nightmare averted. We have an appointment upcoming for the repairs to my chimney. I was so impressed at having someone show up not just on time, but early. He was very ethical and his prices are reasonable. It is almost shocking to see such great customer service from people these days. I can't say enough nice things about him. My next step will be capping my fireplace with a more energy efficient damper. I knew there had to be a way to keep all my air conditioning in this summer!

Even before he came to do the job, Jack showed interest in getting my business. I went online looking for a chimney cleaner and answered a few questions, one of the questions asked if I was interested in having someone call me. About 5 minutes later I got a call from Jack. He was pleasant but not pushy at all. I also read customer comments about him and several other companies, then I called him back to schedule. Scheduling was easy, I was able to set it up for the very next day at a time that worked great for me. Jack showed up right on time, was very professional, informative and pleasant. He left my home as clean if not cleaner than it was when he arrived. I asked so many questions, as this is my first fireplace, and he answered every question completely and in ways that helped me understand. I will definitely call him again and pass his card to everyone I know with a fireplace. Truly pleasant experience.

I was still on the computer when Jack responded to my need for chimney cleaning. In a little more than twenty-four hours from the time I requested, Jack had made an appointment convenient to me, explained his work, completed everything we wanted, cleaned up what little mess he had made, and then made some further recommendations for maintenance and prevention. He will return to do more work and clean out my dryer vent in just a few days. His rates are very reasonable. I will recommend him as well as pass out his business cards to my friends and neighbors.
