Wolfman Chimney & Fireplace

Went as planned. Good company. I used the coupon to get the $99 deal on cleaning gutters.

Initially, the provided failed to contact me to schedule an appmt. I then call to set up an appointment. Due to weather conditions, provider was not able to provide the service as scheduled,and would call me back to re-schedule. Two months later and I never received that call, and ended up hiring somebody else outside the network to complete the work. I called today to ask about a refund from but did not know who'd issue a refund, if Angie's or his company.

Wolfman was prompt, friendly and honest. When it rained, the gutters on our house overflowed. We thought that leaves had accumulated and clogged the gutters, but it was roofing dust from the shingle roof. Wolfman did a good job of cleaning the gutters. He also noticed that we have a couple of leaks at several joint connections. He gave a couple of recommendations for repair.

John was punctual and performed the work without apparent difficulties. I asked about securing the end of a low gutter but he indicated that they do not repair, just clean. I pointed out that this was not what his post indicated and left it at that. He suggested I call a handyman. I made the mistake of not inspecting the back work with John and soon after he left I discovered that the pool floor was covered with debris from the cleaning. Unfortunately, there was nothing I could do but try to remove as much debris as possible before starting the Kreepy Krauli. I needed to buy new rakes that had a flat surface but some of the harder particles must have gone through because I now suspect there is some sort of "puncturing" and have to purge the filter before the air is let out and water starts flowing. Very inconvenient and costly....as with Allwood, trying to save using the special offers turned out to be unacceptable.

He gave us an estimate. So far we have not made a decision as to have the work done or not.

Arrived as scheduled and cleaned all exterior gutters. I asked Jack to check my chimney to see if it needed cleaning and I would pay an additional charge. Chimney inspected and did not need any additional work. Jack did not charge for inspection. Would definitely use this service again.

It was fine. It was good. There were no additional fees.

Service provider did a great job. Was prompt and stayed in contact when he was on his way. Put the washer/dryer back into place and left the area spotless after finishing the job.

After the cleaning, the dry vent was disconnected in the attic. I had to take the vent line apart and repair. The provider caused more problems than he fixed.

Cleaned chimney. On time. Cleaned up nicely.

The chimney sweep was late - but it was no big deal, as he called to let me know. He was professional and polite. I felt I paid a fair price for the service. I would use Wolfman again.

He did a great job! Very personable! He even went up in the attic to take the duct apart and clean it out. The clog in our dryer vent was at the vent screen outside the house. He mentioned that the way it was installed would lead to more clogs, so he adjusted the screen to make sure any excess lint would not clog the vent. He did mention that a bird MIGHT find a home in the vent due to the old age of the vent and the adjustments he made. He told us what to do if this happened. He also suggested we change the vent and said it was a quick process that he could do for $50ish. Overall, we were very pleased and the gentlemen was very nice!

They arrived on the scheduled day. Gutters were cleaned. During the next rainfall I will be able to test their effectiveness.

Jack was very communicative throughout the whole process and he showed up on time. He made some recommendations on maintenance of our fireplace and gutters, and gave us some tips that would keep us from having to pay him for things that we could do ourselves (which you normally wouldn't expect from someone who makes money this way!) To me this was a testament to his honesty and integrity. We will use him again when we need gutter or chimney services.

Very well. I asked them to do the dryer vent as a second thought and they cheerfully did so. One downspout was missed when one young man switched to clean the dryer vent. Upon having a nice downpour a week after the gutter cleaning we discovered the clogged downspout and called. Within 24 hours they came out, apologizing and made sure all were cleaned. Very reliable service. We will use them again next year.

They arrived and got the job done fast. The deal included a tune-up and minor repairs. I was surprised as they went they didn't notice and/or point out issues. I had to ask when they were done if things were fixed. I had to point out the issues I was aware of and have them go back. I would have preferred a little more attention to detail.

Jack was very professional and efficient. He did arrive a little past our expected time, but called to let us know he was running behind because of a job he just finished, which was understandable. Before getting started he did get a price on a replacement piece for our fireplace and the cost for the repair. We did setup a later date with him to fix. He covered our floor before beginning work and then went straight to it. In all, it took maybe 30-40 minutes for him to complete the job.

Went very well, no problems, done in less than one hr.

They did an excellent job. On time and worked quickly.

Jack called when he was on the way. The team performed the work in an efficient manner. Jack called again when the work was complete to let me know how it went. He also gave me some pointers on ways to save money on future maintenance issues.

He called and said he would come by. He came after a month. He never spoke with me after his inspection was completed. Did not leave an inspection report to indicate what what his inspection consisted of after work was completed.It would be nice to get a call back or an email to let me know was done and if there were any issues.

Everything went fine. I was not here -- my husband was actually here -- but I think he was pretty pleased with what he did.

I bought a big deal for this service.
