Wolfman Chimney & Fireplace

Did not happen. Parts were not ordered until I followed up to find out the status. Did not show up to perform the work as scheduled. Office not manned and mailbox is full.

Always a good experience. This has been my go-to company for gutter cleaning for the past couple of years.

The tech was great, on time and explained everything about the fire place. How to light it, where to light it, the position of the logs, replaced the dirty gravel with larger better looking gravel. Cleaned and re positioned the logs. He did a great job and was very professional. I would definitely hire this company again. Thank you!

Great. The associate even blew the leaves off of both of our decks.

Worker was punctual, quick and did a great job on blowing out the gutters. He noticed signs that I had raccoons using my roof and provided tips to keep them away/off.

Due to weather conditions, the work could not be done. I was moving out of town and ran out of time to schedule the work before I left. They were very courteous and if I had been able to stay in town longer, I'm sure I would have rescheduled the work. I received a full refund from Angie's List since the work was never done.

Technician was on time and notified us on his way. I thought in ordering an official inspection there would be some kind of point inspection but there was not. He said everything was fine but no details for further information was given. We asked questions but it was like pulling teeth to get answers.

He was quick, polite and very professional. We had a unique situation with the gutters in the back on the back patio that would have required going there through the house. In order to keep from doing that, he accessed the gutters over the roof. We appreciate his consideration. We are going to call them for our next needed service, dryer vent cleaning.

Maybe they were overloaded with requests or we lived too far from San Antonio, not sure, but we were not notified or contacted after already pre-paying. They did not show up for the date they said and it was a long time before they finally responded and actually did perform the gutter cleaning at our home.

They came on time and really appreciated that. The tech was courteous and keep me informed on what he was doing. He cleaned up after himself. I feel like the Deal was a little over priced for the work that was done. The Deal said they would check the system, when the tech came he opened it up and took the logs out sprayed and said everything was in order and there were no gas leak. I figured there would be more equipment or better checking.

it DIDN'T!!! Just trying to hawk a $600-ish chimney cap!! And how come I have to do this AGAIN!?!?!???? I already submitted such a negative review nearly a full month ago!!

Wolfman Chimney representative, Aaron was very professional and friendly. He did a thorough job cleaning the vent and the chimney. Next year, I will be happy to have him do it again. They also provide gutter cleaning, which I will have them do next year, too.

Found out that both were in poor condition so am pondering my next step

The communication was excellent. Gentleman called to let me know he was on his way. Arrived promptly. Cleaned the chimney efficiently. Very easy and painfree way to have necessary maintenance done if you burn your fireplace. I've had this company before, with equally good results.

Terrible. I purchased a deal for $399 worth of masonry, chimney repair, or tuckpointing service for $99. A representative from the company came to meet me and go over my needs to estimate the job. The quote included a mortar chimney cap overlay as well as some tuckpointing of a limestone chimney and a few broken joints on the front limestone exterior. I checked reviews on Angie's list and other sites and didn't see anything to worry about and also called to validate insurance coverage. I later called to schedule the work to be performed. Here's where the trouble starts. The technician called and told me he was on his way and arrived on time. Mind you, this is a different person than the one who gave me the estimate - the person I met previously was no longer with the company. He introduced himself and proceeded to get up on the chimney and get to work. My wife and I could hear him on the roof talking on his cell phone to his girlfriend the whole time. After an hour he said he was done with the chimney overlay and then I went over the rest of the work I wanted done, the technicians response was "we normally don't do all of that". He wanted to see the estimate that was provided to me. After that, he put me on the phone with his supervisor to try and work out a solution. The technician tried to patch a couple of areas with leftover mortar and stuffing it in and smearing it around with his fingers. Neither one of them were interested in doing any additional work and offered me $50 off the quote to try and make things right. Already being dissatisfied with the lack of work ethic, experience and professionalism, I cut my losses and wrote a check for $100. I'm disappointed because an agreement was not satisfied. I'm disappointed because a company trying to earn business and make a name for themselves sends out young, inexperienced kids to do a job they don't know how to do (tuckpointing doesn't involve just mortar and fingers people!). I'm disappointed because even though I went through Angie's List, I still wasted a bunch of my time and money and I have try and find someone else who knows what they're doing and will perform the work requested.

good fine okay . worker arrived on time and was polite . would have been nice if the worker had explained the cleaning process or why it is important to have the job done, or how the job would be performed, or what tools would be used, or how long the job would take -- so I asked all of the above and was satisfied with the answers .. likewise it would've been nice if the worker had let me know the job was done, and show me what was done, or if i had any questions about what was done -- so as i saw the worker loading the equipment in the vehicle, i went over and asked all of the above and was satisfied with the answers .. a little more face time with customers would go a long way and improve quality and responsiveness scores .. overall good score.

The tech really had to work to clean a 90 degree turn where the venting entered the wall. This appeared to be a clog as opposed to a general buildup. He was polite & professional. I had the venting cleaned several years ago so wasn't expecting a problem as my dryer receives very light use but this clog caused the dryer thermostat to fail. It is obvious that dryer use isn't the only reason for regular cleaning!

Great Job, same day service and better than expected.

I had them come out to the house to evaluate a problem with my chimney. He examined chimney from fireplace and from roof. Took pictures of the problem. Was able to give me a good estimate for repair. I am not ready to do extensive repairs at this time but when I do they are who I will contact.

It was ok. I'm not gonna say it was great, but it was ok. They wanted to charge more. The deal did not include the screens on the gutters. Truth in advertising is the worst. The individual himself was a good personality.

Company was extremely cordial on the phone. Scheduling was easy. The gentleman was right on time, and got to work right away. While I was not willing to get on my roof to inspect the work, the good quality of the job was evident during the next heavy rainstorm.

Well- my husband is the one who was present for the service.
