The arrived on time with enough workers. The work was shotty. The manager after the work had started. He left within 10 minutes and never returned. I called the next day thinking they would put the finishing touches on the project. That wasn't done. I had to request them to do that. They sent 2 workers which included the project leader. There were a number of incomplete areas which did not fully cover the limestone in the yard. In one area the limestone was left out of the granite; however, on return they did replace those stones. There was no work to account for the natural grade in the yard. I was told that the tampering would not require me to have to use the sealant. However after the heavy rain, that position did not hold up. The rain washed trails especially in areas that were not properly or had not received tampering. When I brought this to the lead worker's attention, he voiced that the area had been tampered. Tampering is the pounding that's required to keep the granite in place. When I had the estimator come back out after the rain to see what could be done to fix the open area trails where the granite could be washed away. He had no ideas on how to fix the issue. I offered the idea of placing river rock in the trails. He gave me an estimate of $1500.00. When he went back to the office to send me the written estimate, it came to $2422. I've had subsequent estimates for the same work to include 12 cubic yards of mulch being installed and the estimates ranged from $1200 - $2700. Then on top of the low ball estimate he suggested I use the hardner, which was my original plan. If it were not for the project leader, I would have lost more granite; he suggested I place blocks to prevent water flow. However, after having an experienced landscape designer come in, he suggested I not prevent the water flow but direct it with river rock. Paradise wasn't the cheapest estimate I received for the crushed granite project; but I thought the manager sent described a good plan. I'm not pleased with their work and would never recommend them or use them in the future. Landscaping does not mean landscape design knowledge is known. I think landscapers should advertize their level of knowledge; not their BBB advertizement.

We recently switched to Paradise Lawn for regular maintenance of our yard. We have 1/2 acre...not small, but not huge. They do a very thorough job of checking the yard for weeds, over-grown plants, etc. They get the job done quickly, neatly, and for about the same price I was paying another company that was not doing the job as well. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional looking yard.

We terminated their services because we weren't happy with them. We weren't unhappy with them, but they promised things that they didn't deliver. Mostly, they said we would never see a weed again but that wasn't true. They also didn't trim the bushes correctly so we hired a different contractor. They did the work but we expected more for the price that we paid.

They are pretty good. They come when they say they will and their prices are pretty reasonable. They went out of their way to make sure that the work they did at our church didn’t interfere with services and that was pretty important. They were really helpful and we’ve given his name to several people. We have plans to use him next week to put in a hedge. I think it is unusual for someone to come back and check on the trees without a phone call, but he did and I just thought that was nice and reassuring. He has always been prompt and he returns my calls. He can get too many jobs going but he calls to let you know that he is running behind.

Paradise Landscapes really impressed us with their work. We were thankful for everything that they did. One of the trees had come crashing down and we knew it was time to take care of these very big old trees. The crew was great and they knew how to do this the correct way. We were impressed most by the clean up. There wasn't a single twig left behind by them and they also did this fairly fast as far as we were concerned.

Paradise Landscapes did a great job on our lawn. My garden also looks great. The St. Augustine grass is healthy and looks great. They really stick to doing what they said that they would. I thought they were very helpful and reliable.

Our phone call was returned promptly, and the crew did a fantastic job. The supervisor was very professional and polite. They did the entire job in a few hours and cleaned up every twig after themselves.

They did this job about three weeks ago, and said they'd come back soon to remove the stump because they have to rent the equipment to do that. They wanted to combine it with other work in the neighborhood. Also, they didn't clean up the debris too well, and some limbs fell where they shouldn't have (I have five or six broken flower pots). I had to call them to send someone out to clean up the debris properly. Nevertheless, I'm happy with the end result and I also use this company from time to time for lawn service.
