Quite possibly one of the worst companies I've had to deal with. Once I made my inquiry through Angie's List, I was promptly contacted. I was given an initial estimate. I explained the situation and the urgency behind the work that needed to be done. KC was very warm and personable at that time. She was sympathetic to my needs and worked with her husband to offer me a bit better of a price and assured me they would take care of my issue. That under no uncertain terms would they let what happened to me with the last contractor happen this time. She requested the money upfront. I offered 50% upfront and 50% when the job was complete. She didn't care for this, but accepted that given the problem I faced with the last contractor taking my money and running off. Things seemed to go well until they didn't. She and her husband were supposedly on their way to the home I was leasing in order to complete the repair and I had someone waiting at the house to let them in. 15-20 minutes prior to the arrival I received a call that she had a family emergency and would be unable to make it. I assured her that "Family is first; take care of that and let me know when you can re-arrange." I did not email/call or pester in any way. I let her contact me. She did so a couple of days later and thanked me for my patience. I once again reiterated that family was first and that I hoped the situation improved. She assured me that her husband would arrive the next day at approximately 3:00 pm. I arranged to have someone at the home to unlock the home. (I am no longer living in SATX). I received a call around 7:15 that the door was locked. I asked why I was being notified at 7:15 that the door was locked when we had agreed for them to be there at 3:00 PM. She did text me prior to the 3Pm deadline and let me know that he was running "a few minutes behind schedule." She failed to mention that it was more than 4 hours behind schedule. I was able to get someone else to drive from Stone Oak (about 30 minutes away) to let her husband in the home. He supposedly performed some of the work. To date, I have no idea what they actually did quite yet as I have yet to receive any pictures. (Mind, you I began working with them to coordinate this on May 1st, and at this point Friday, May 8th). Later that evening KC told me that her husband would be leaving that the mud on the wall needed to dry. That we would need to coordinate a time for Saturday for their return. I said Ok, but I needed to know what time so that I could coordinate the home being opened for them. No response. No communication all day Saturday. On Sunday, Mother's day, I sent a nice message saying Happy Mothers day, despite my frustration, and letting her know that I understand things happen and that I'm being very patient but request that they help me understand when they will be able to get back and complete the job. She replied with the following: "Hey there I know there has been some communication issue just have had a rough couple of days and I know that's not your fault but we are going to get taken care of I will text you in the morning so I'll give you a time and ty so much y'all have a blessed day as well" I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt so I did not text until the end of the day on Monday. I simply sent the message "Hello. It is evening and I never heard from you this morning so I'm wondering what the status is." No response. I have not yet received any additional communication from her. I attempted to try her husband during this time because he was actually answering his phone. He was pretty nice at first. Until I shared with him the fact that his wife was not doing what she was telling him. She apparently told him that she was communicating with me. Despite the evidence and the facts to the contrary. Things came to a head today where he told me they were not going to finish the job. I mentioned that I was in shock -- that they were only as good as their word, and that he needs to be a man of his honor and word and complete the job he started. He told me to "f*** off." I texted him back saying "God Bless You" and a few other sentences about forgiving him and he called me and told me audibly to "F*** off." He said he was going to block my number and that they were going to return my money. I have not yet received any monies back from them, nor do I believe I will. My advice to you is to stay away from these people. They are not honest -- they lie to your face -- and while I can't at all speak to the quality of work -- the fact they refused to finish a job to which they agreed should tell you everything you need to know about these people. Not to mention the fact that at the time that the husband was speaking with me he was working AT A CHURCH -- and decided to tell me to *F*** off." I am in shock and disbelief that this has happened and cannot believe that I have been ghosted three times in the process of trying to get a simple repair done. It's unfathomable. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AS THEY ARE NOT HONEST, THEY ARE NOT GENUINE, AND ARE QUITE RUDE AND VULGAR!
