The experience was horrendous. In 2012 I hired Full Circle Rainwater Solutions to address a drainage problem on the side of my home. After signing off on the work and sending the initial down payment for the work it took Dave several days in my opinion to get out and start the work. I felt like my project was not priority, but since the weather was dry I didn't complain. Additionally, part of the contract/agreement that I signed said "our workers..." so I thought that a "team" would be doing the work as this was a big project. There is a large old tree on the side of the home which contributed to the draining problems, and they needed to be cut through. Instead, only the owner came out (off and on over the course of a few days) to do the job. I thought the problem was finally fixed until San Antonio experience a heavy rain a few months later and part of the house flooded. I had a foundation/drainage professional (that I found on Angie's List) come out, who attributed the flooding to faulty repairs. He used a machine/instrument to measure that grade or slope of the work/dig done by Dave, and felt that work that was done (or lack of work that was done) contributed to water entering the home. I reached out to the Full Circle and they had the nerve to send me a bill for coming back out to survey the problem. They were extremely defensive and unsympathetic, and blamed the problem on the gutters and the ground not being properly maintained. The gutters and the ground did have leaves, although they were not unmaintained. I had the gutters professionally cleaned, the trees trimmed a new downspout added, and my tenants have done a good job of keeping the leaves raked. Months later, water got into my home again after a heavy rain. I spoke with CIndy who would not eve entertain responsibility. She questioned the fact that water did not get into the home during a previous heavy rain. I explained to her that water did not get into the home during every downpour. I explained to her that I have exhausted what I can do as a homeowner and reminded her of a) the findings of other foundation/drainage professionals and b) the fact that Dave did not dig/cut through the problem tree roots, as we discussed in our initial consultation. She said that she would visit with her husband Dave and that they would fix the problem. Not surprisingly I have not heard from them since. Very disappointing, and an expensive $3100 lesson learned. Now I have to start the repair process all over again. Rainwater SOLUTIONS? What a joke. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Soon after building our house, it rained. The house was build on an angle to the natural water runoff flow and served as a dam. We had almost a foot of water dammed against the side of our house until it could leach into the rock and ground. We contacted three specialists to remedy the situation. One came out and offered a series of French drains for around $7000. The second promised several appointments, but never showed up. The third was David Owens. He came out, discussed the problem, took several elevation readings and drew up a topographical map of our immediate problem area. He proposed reshaping the ground to form natural levees and rerouting the water to its natural pathway. The result can only be described as spectacular. We have no more issues with rainwater runoff and we have a very beautiful side and front appearance with an exceptional walkway. He also installed a sandy loam base and zoysia grass. A year later we went only to him to install a rainwater collection system. The installation was professionally done and situatuated to allow considerable concealment. Unfortuately, it has not rained much since the installation. Perhaps this is a good reason for having it installed. Currently, he is building a mortored natural rock gate fence at the front of our property. David and Cyndy Owens own and operate this company. They are truly honest people that offer hard work, great engineering, and superb attention to every detail, all at a very fair price. If you need this type of work done, I suggest that you call David Owens first and save yourself time and frustration.
Description of Work: We had a very serious drainage problem with a new house. David Owens designed a drainage plan without having to install French drains. He reshaped the ground, redirected the water flow, and installed walkways with natural rock. He was so good that when we decided to install a rainwater collection system, we contracted with him. Currently, he is building a rockwall gate for our entrance.
