All American Irrigation Systems

Very disappointed that we didn't receive a call telling us they were running late or asking us to reschedule. It was a Monday and we had other things to be doing besides waiting around for no one to show up!

They were very professional and easy to work with. My biggest concern was the lack of understanding of what the promotion entailed. They had to call the headquarters several times to see how long they could work and how much they could actually repair and diagnose. I called the main office and after discussing the bill with them I walked away satisfied with the bill adjustments.

When the providers actually come out to the property, they are very nice and do a good job, however, they rarely show up when they are supposed to. When you call the office they say crew will be out the next day. They were supposed to service our property last Wednesday, it is now the following Monday and they didn't arrive. When we called the office today, they told us the company is no longer servicing our part of town. The worst thing is they require you to sign a contract with all kinds of stipulations like securing your animals, charge you inconvenience feed, etc. apparently, they aren't bound to their part of the contract. Never show up, lie to the customer, don't notify you that they will no longer be performing your lawn maintenance. TERRIBLE company! Will never recommend them to anyone!

AAIS required that we sign a contract that they would come out every two weeks and do the lawn. They came out the first time on a Tuesday and did a very good job. We didn't see them again two weeks later so we called and they said they would be out on Thursday. After they didn't show on Thursday we called and they said they would be out Friday, then we called Monday and they said Tuesday. Finally three weeks later they came on Wednesday. After that I had no idea when they would show up so it was hard to know when to keep the dogs locked in the house. For the next few times they showed up approximately every two weeks for a couple months. Its now been almost three weeks since they've been here. Last Wednesday they told me they were going to be here on Friday. It's now Monday and almost three weeks after the last service. I called and they told me they were no longer going to service our area so they will come out tomorrow and do it one last time. I already had to mow part of my lawn cause it was just too tall so I told them to forget about it. No messages or notification that they were no longer going to do our lawn, they just stopped coming! So much for the CONTRACT signed for they never adhered to it! Even though they did a good job when they did come out I would not recommend them to anyone due to the unprofessionalism in the management area, not due to the work performed by the lawn workers.

MIke from AAIS was extremely punctual. Him being on time for our appointment was a breath of fresh air. He promptly got to work assessing the situation and discovered a leaking valve on my system. I showed him where I thought there might be an undergound leak and he found it almost immediately without overly disturbing the turf. All the questions I asked were answered quickly and completely. I had concerns that the current setup was not covering the property completely. He investigated all 6 zones on this 20 year old system to make sure the sprinklers were properly set up and replaced any parts necessary to ensure the system would function to its full potential. It is gratifying to see the water going to where it will do the most good, with no waste or runoff. Needless to say my experience with AAIS was extremely positive. I'll use them as my go to company for my irrigation needs in the future.

There are no details other than what I wrote above. ?They never came to do anything.

I did finally get them to trim some of the Oleander bushes, but there was no cleaning up under them and so I was disappointed in the job of "spring cleaning" advertised. Mostly they wanted me to sign up with them to mow my yard in the coming year, and I already had a contract with a mower. I had recently moved into this mobile home and the yard and bushes had been neglected for some time., so that was why I took advantage of the "big deaL" for 8 hours of spring yard cleaning, and I only got about 2 1/2 hours of what turned out the be mostly mowing. The owner/manager spent some time going to the office of this Mobile Home park to try to get people in the park to sign up for their service. I really think the BIG DEALS are mostly rip offs. I had tried them three times, this one was not really good, but one of them just took the money and never did the job, so I think the big deals are something to stay away from...PERIOD

Two young gentlemen promptly arrived (even when it was raining a bit) and got right to work. They thoroughly walked the property, located and assessed all the sprinkler heads (8 zones) and replaced those that were broken. They left no mess and did a great job! Highly recommended!

I was given a quote two weeks ago on clean up and new service. They were supposed to call me the following Monday with a scheduled time to begin. They never called. I called twice and each time was told by Sandra, "We'll get back with you within an hour." Two weeks later, no returned call. I was called yesterday by Andrew to say they would be out on Tuesday (today) to begin service. At 2pm, when they didn't show up, I called them once again. Sandra said they wouldn't be out and also said the owner, Chris, had to come out today to reassess the quote Andrew gave me to make sure the 'quoted' hours were correct. I waited for him all day long. He never showed up. When I called, once again, Sandra told me they were swamped today and Chris wouldn't be able to come out. Well, if this is they way they treat a POTENTIAL customer, I don't think I'd want to chance it by becoming one of their customers. They seem to be very disorganized, have poor follow-up, and not at all customer focused. *approximate cost of service $450.00

I purchased the Angie's List big deal in early April. It took several tries before someone finally called me back (apparently the office was moving) and then a few more tries before we were put on the schedule. Rain delayed our install 2 more times. Sometimes, I would get a call letting me know about a postponement, sometimes I wouldn't. When I would call, the office was very friendly and would get an answer, but a few times it was incumbent upon me to ask instead of AAIS calling me. Finally, it was installed on a Saturday in June. Then one more postponement for a final walk through. When I ultimately met Chris, he was knowledgeable and professional and I know the wet spring and summer have been a hardship on his business and under different circumstances, I would probably give all "A's." When Angie's List asks if I would use this provider in the future, I'm not sure.

They did a good job. The top of one of the bushes was really trimmed down in the middle. Overall, I was pleased.

Crew arrived promptly and got to work immediately after I showed them what needed to be done. They also spotted a huge vine that needed to be cut from pecan tree and did that too. One man inadvertently cut cable cord ( no way he could have seen it in bushes). Anthony promised to return and repair it for me and he did. I could not be more pleased with their work, and I plan to use them again!!

I made an appt for an estimate on a brand new new sprinkler system, they called an hour before the appt to reschedule. Chris showed up for the next appt and promised an estimate would be emailed in a few days. After repeated calls, the office finally said "we have your paperwork right here and will have it to you today." Nothing showed up. I called a few days later and office said, "Chris needs to come back out and take another measurement to validate everything, we'll have it to you soon. Can he come on Friday?" Waited another week, nothing. I don't know if he came back out or not, they said we didn't need to be home. I called and got the same story, we have your paperwork right here and will send it. Finally after 3 weeks of this nonsense, I called and left a message for the owner Chris, just my name and phone number and asked politely that he call me back. He never called. Not one time did they call me, I always had to initiate the calls. I understand if a company is not interested in a particular job, but just say that at the beginning when you visit the site. It is extremely unprofessional to keep up the illusion that you will provide services, only to ignore a customer in the end. Our job is complex and other companies have estimated $3500-$5000. Too bad All American Irrigation will not be getting that revenue.

American Irrigation System: I purchased the Angie's List Deal in March 25, 2015. The service is completely unprofessional;they cancelled several times. I received only 2 courtesy phone calls. We had plenty of sunny days to get the job done, I only heard plenty of excuses. It was a waste of time of rescheduling, I joined Angie's List to avoid this kind of companies.

Purchased Big Deal on 3/23/15. Made appointment for 4/2/15 for supervisor to come by & make sure what I wanted done was covered. No one showed, no one called. Called office 4/6/15 to find out why. Someone (Kelly, Dolores?) said they'd call me back. They didn't (this is a pattern, no one returning phone calls). I called All American back and was told they had no record of me purchasing Big Deal or having an appointment. I guess I made it up. Rescheduled service (via E-mail because i continually left messages and was told "I'll call you back in 10 minutes by Kelly, Dolores) to be done 4/9 and was told to just give instructions for what I wanted done via emai And it would be passed on. I did not wish to do that, wanted someone to come by first but was told that wasn't an option. On 4/9, no one showed up and no one called. When I called the next day, was told I'd be called back in 30 minutes when they knew when I'd be rescheduled (was told truck broke down on 4/9, why no one called me then, they could not explain. Was rescheduled for 4/30 - again after I called All American twice with no calls returned (was told that was soonest available - by now over 30 days since purchase - important for later) When day arrived, foreman called me from my house, told me shrubs I wanted trimmed were "too tall for Big Deal, but I could get my money back for Big Deal & hire All American without Deal and they'd do it". I ask him to leave without performing any work since the additional work I wanted was minor. When I called Angie's List to ask for a refund, was told its over 30 days and only a credit was available. In mean time I have performed the other work myself( trimming hedges, weeding, bagging leaves) and am left with a $249 credit I don't need. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed in Angie's List and All American Irrigation.

Work was professionally done and irrigation system performance was restored to normal.

They were awful. I had to call numerous times, they said they would call me back which they never did. I asked if they would do the service I wanted, and they said they would not do it. I would not use them again.

My wife contacted All American Irrigation Systems in response to a promotion for a yard cleanup special, and they came out during the first week of April. They estimated two hours total and ended up working for nearly exactly that length of time. I was happy with the result, and spoke with the supervisor present (who identified himself as the owner's brother) to arrange recurring lawn service for us. He said he would set up the service and quoted $50.00 per visit to be done every other Wednesday. The following is a list of events detailing how things have gone since that first visit: April 8: Crew arrived for first lawn service. Service was done quickly, and after the crew left, I noticed that they had not used a lawn mower on the front yard - the entire yard of St. Augustine grass had been done with a Weedeater. April 22: Second service due, but it was raining. April 23-27: Still no service. April 28: Called All American Irrigation Systems to let them know that I was one day shy of 3 weeks with no lawn service. The representative advised me that the crew was scheduled to come out "tomorrow." April 29: Waited all day, and at 5:00 PM I called the company to let them know that the crew was a no-show. The representative advised me that she would research the matter and call me back, but she never did so. April 30: Called again and spoke with Kelly. I explained what had happened up until today. She advised me that the crew was not scheduled to come out until next Wednesday, but that she would check and call me "right back." That was nearly a week ago, and I am still waiting for a call. May 6: Crew finally showed up and mowed/edged the front and back yards. No weed treatment was applied as promised during their last visit, but on the positive side, at least I wasn't charged for a weed treatment. May 20: Crew as a no-show again this week. May 21: I again called All American Irrigation Systems. I spoke with Sandra to let her know that their crew was a no-show yesterday. When she said they did not come out due to weather, I informed her that there was no rain here and that it had been a mixture of sunny and partly cloudy weather all day yesterday. She then said that they had gotten behind due to weather in the preceding days, but that they were scheduled to come to my home today. We will see!

I've had nothing but difficulty in reaching them and getting returned calls. They haven't done one thing they said they were going to, so I'm cancelling the service.

The big deal from All American Irrigation Systems turned out to be very good. They did not charge me anything else besides the 249 dollars of the big deal charge. They did a great job. My whole lot is about one and a half acres but they probably did 3 quarters or half of that, maybe 3 quarters of an acre worth. They came in and I didn't really have to explain a whole lot to them. They just went to it and did it great. I really liked the way that they did the work so quickly and no problems of any kind. They hauled everything off. The professionalism is 'A' for sure.

I obtained three bids and All American was very competitive and offered a seven year warranty. The owner was very punctual with the bid process. The installation was rescheduled three or four times, perhaps because of the rain. Installation day was done timely. During installation an issue (completely unrelated) with our water flow was brought to our attention and we were able to fix it while the ground was all torn up. A week later the complete system was well explained.

They never showed up for appointment after calling the day before to verify. They were supposed to come yesterday morning, and they never showed up. I called after waiting for a while and they said they were running late. I called them again, and they said that they would call back when they knew when they would be here. They never called back, so I called them back. They told me they were not going to be able to come today and never apologized.

I hired the company to remove a large amount of old mulch left behind by the former homeowner. The team arrived right on time and were polite, but really I cannot say I am happy with the service. There is a considerable amount of mulch left - I explained several times that I needed it ALL gone. The whole point of hiring others was so I would not have to remove mulch on my own - I will definitely need to do so. I can't really blame the team as it seemed they were not aware ahead of time that this was the purpose of their visit, though I had relayed it to the office. Bottom line is, the yard looks better, but it was not worth $250.

Water was spraying out of ground and pouring into the street. Their guy came by quite quickly even though it was late in the day. He stayed a little while after making repairs to ensure that the fix held. The price was reasonable considering the situation we were in.

Great! They were fast and efficient. I highly recommend them!
