"Home?. It?s a word that connotes warmth, comfort and happiness. But how do you convey this feeling when you?re selling your home? Let Charlotte Lloyd stage it for you of course. Charlotte was recommended to me by my one of my previous stagers, who moved out of the DFW area. I looked at a number of stagers, but what I liked about Charlotte initially is that she had her own decorations and furniture. It?s common in the DFW area for stagers to rent the furniture, which means they charge multiple month minimums. I have numerous investment properties and when I sell one, I want it to go fast. I don?t like paying for time I won?t need. I also know that staging is critical to the sales process. Most buyers don?t have the imagination to picture what a home could look like when it?s empty. Rooms tend to look smaller without some furniture, and flow doesn?t seem as natural. Back to Charlotte. After she did the staging, I was more than impressed. It was perfection. I didn?t have a single suggestion. She even pointed out things that my contractors had missed, (this was a flip), so I made them come back and fix them. She has a great eye. The place looked fabulous. How fabulous? This house was in Plano, TX, which admittedly is a hot market. However, in 48 hours, we had 55 scheduled showings. In the first 24 hours, we had 4 offers. We were priced fairly, but not too high. The offer we accepted 24 hours after putting it for sale was 6% over asking and in cash with a 7 day close. Think staging with Charlotte Lloyd isn?t worth the money? Think again. I sell my homes to make money and staging has always gotten me a higher price and a faster close. And Charlotte is one of the best stagers I?ve seen.
