Description of Work: I purchased a deal for two hours of plumbing labor.

Description of Work: Big State Plumbing cleared and scoped the clogged bathtub drain. I originally scheduled for 6/24/14 and rescheduled online for 06/26/14. Big State sent out a plumber on 06/24 while I was not home, so they left. On 06/26 I waited for them until the end of the last hour scheduled. After I emailed them concerning my scheduled service, a plumber showed up and did the work. He made some recommendations, which I declined. He was knowledgeable and efficient. James K

Description of Work: Inspected kitchen and bath drains. Cleaned drains and made adjustments. Made several excellent suggestions for preventing future problems. Punctual and polite. The office staff was excellent when it came to helping to reschedule my appointment and letting me know what time technician would arrive. Overall good experience. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: Sewer clean out and camera check of the system. The remove a bottle cap that was ream through by a previous company. This was causing the vanity sink to empty slowly

Description of Work: They replaced a drain in a sink and switched out a tub faucet. The plumber was very courteous.

Description of Work: Installed a new Disposal and sink faucet set quickly and successfully; technician was on time, pleasant, and seemed to know what he was doing. He had to go buy an extra piece of equipment, but this did not take long, and was reasonably priced. Overall, a good experience...WEW

Description of Work: I was having problems with my water heater and I was calling around to different plumbers. I reached Big State and they actually were able to come out right away. My water heater was quite old so I assumed that it would be difficult to find parts but I wanted to get some real answers. The technician reviewed the water all of 5 minutes and told me that I needed to replace it and that they would be able to replace it within the next few days. So after speaking with him, I decided still to double check the water heater again; and realized that the pilot area was dirty. Once I cleaned the area the pilot light was able to be re-lit and the water heater was working fine. Needless to say the fact that the technician didn't even check to see if he could light the pilot or anything didn't really sit too well with me as I would have been spending $1000+ on a water heater at that time when it wasn't necessary. (As a follow-up I did end up replacing the water heater after I had saved the money because I didn't want to be surprised again.)

Description of Work: Came out promptly on a long holiday weekend. Diagnosed problem & gave us options. We elected to replace water heater. Stephen & Morton were very professional & honored their Angie's list coupon. Would absolutely call them for any future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: The folks at Big State plumbing did a great job, left the area clean and professional. I felt confident that only what needed attention was replaced and they're a trustworthy company. They will be "our" plumbing company.

Description of Work: Needed assistance to determine if we had leak. Steven from Big State came out on time and determined that we did indeed have a leak but that the location would have to be determined by a leak detection company. He was very professional and very nice and DID NOT CHARGE us! Although we had to use someone else because of our insurance, we will definitely call Big State the next time we need a plumber
