Description of Work: Big State showed up on time and were very professional. One problem occurred when the technician turn on the water. The junk in the water line clogged up my kitchen faucet. The plumber took his time and cleaned it out to where it was working properly.

Description of Work: Replaced the insides of 3 toilets and fixed a leaky faucet handle. Plumber had mud on his shoes and left mud on the floor in each of the bathrooms, as well as on my rug. He did not test the toilets or faucet with me to show it was fixed. Turned out that one of the toilets was leaking and another one did not have the hose placed correctly inside the toilet, so caused the toilet to spill out water. They did return the next day to fix the toilet that was leaking.

Description of Work: They replaced our 10 year old water heater, located in the attic, with a Rheem gas water heater. It's great to have hot water again. Very professional service. We recommend Big State Plumbing.

Description of Work: Repair leaking pipe

Description of Work: The service was to "clean " the sewer drain pipe. The operator ran an auger behind the hot water stream from the kitchen faucet and then ran the camera through the pipe, pointing out to me the whitish grease accumulation and other grime. He then suggested his home remedy of a vinegar flush with hot water to clean the pipe. | |In total, he ran the auger through but he did not CLEAN the pipe as per the purchased agreement. He told me that he could really clean it out for $225.00 additional (I don't recall the exact amount because I had stopped listening to him by then.)

Description of Work: The first service call did not work out very well, the camera got stuck in the pipe and the it required cutting the pipe to remove it and refitting a new pipe to the outside sewer opening. However, once the camera was freed, it did not work, so the service call had to be rescheduled with new equipment and new service tech. The second service call was very good, the tech was on time and very professional.

Description of Work: Everything I pointed out to the plumber was "not really a problem." He seemed reluctant to do anything with a slow-draining sink, a rusted toilet tank (just add some bleach) and a very slow-filling toilet tank. Underwhelimjng experience.

Description of Work: They came out and repaired a facet, (they did not replace it) however it created a leak when used. They were happy to come back at no charge and replace the whole thing and since it was "warranty" they did not charge for the part which I did not expect. Josh went above and beyond to take care of me. Very impressive.

Description of Work: For the $200.00 special I needed 3 things done. 1. tighten nut on bottom of faucet..done. 2. fix leaking kitchen sink..done. 3.fix a new (6 months old )single handle shower valve so it would have hot water, .. they said they couldn't do it, they didn't know how. |I guess 2 out of 3 is not to bad. |I called today to get an estimate to replace the shower valve...$367.00 | Would I use them again? Description of Work: Big State repaired a broken toilet flange and installed a new toilet. Total cost for this work was invoiced at $400, but I had purchased a deal on Angie's List that reduced the cost by $100. | |Big State communicated well and kept us posted on their e.t.a. When they ran late due to an earlier job, they called to let us know that they would be late. The job was done professionally - I would have them do more work in the future.

Description of Work: As advertised in the special, they brought out a new name-brand water heater, installed it, and took away the old unit. Came out on time, and finished quickly. Works perfectly, and for several hundred dollars less than other plumbers tried to charge me for the same heater.

Description of Work: We purchased the coupon to have a drain cleared in our bathroom. This service was performed adequately. We also had them quote replacing the tub drain stop assembly. The quite seemed reasonable so we agreed to the extra work. When the work was done it was not a like for like replacement. The overflow cap where the drain stop used to be located was replaced with a cap that was just a blank off, and it was not the right size to cover the opening in the tub properly. Then the drain catch was replaced with a simple stopper. This was 150$ Service for about 5$ in parts. So not only was the work performed not as agreed, what they did do was not even done well.
