Description of Work: Contacted this company regarding using one of the deals on Angie's list and was told not to use Angie's list but would get the same rate. It was for cleaning the drain lines and camera inspected. Initial time was set between noon and 4pm. Called them at 3:45pm and was told they would be late by 1 hour. 5pm came and went and was notified they would be there at 7 pm that evening. I told her either they are here by 6pm or don't bother. She guaranteed they would be there then. They showed at 7pm and they were not allowed to do the work by me. The work was also to replace a garbage disposal. Contacted Katy Plumbing and they came out on time and did a really professional job.

Description of Work: As I have already given this information to Angie's List, I'll be brief - Big State came out to fix my toilet. They convinced me to replace my water lines to increase water presure. I agreed. In doing this, the created a water leak that collapsed the ceiling of my garage onto my car. The damage to car was $325. more or less. Right after the accident, the worker left and didn't return. After calling Angie's List, Big State came back to finish the job.

Description of Work: They installed a 40 gallon gas water heater in my attic. It went smoothly. The owner was very helpful, accessible and accommodating. The plumber, Rick, was friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend them to others and use them again. Grade A company. I wish all businesses were this great!

Description of Work: Installed a new hot water heater and diagnosed a problem with slow water flow. Problem was attributed to a small secondary water heater which also needs replaced. Big State suggested we might be able to do without it and proposed an alternative rather than just pushing a second water heater. So far so good. | |Would definitely recommend. Owner involvement made the difference to me.

Description of Work: I purchased this package for my son. The plumber met him at the house and told him the costs to do they things he wanted to do - everything was over the cost I paid. In the end, my son said never mind, I'll do it myself. The plumber left and no work was done... I kept expecting a call from the plumber to ask if I wanted my money back or something... I didn't bother with this as my son said the plumber told him how to do the work himself.

Description of Work: Checked out several plumbing issues, and made adjustments. Even came out a 2nd time to double check the orginal repairs.

Description of Work: I had new counter tops installed and Big State Plumbing disconnected my plumbing. When the counter top project was completed it was easy to get them back out to reconnect everything and the plumber installed my new faucet. Everything is beautiful and works great! I will definitely use them again for all plumbing issues! The plumber stated they get a lot of business from Angie's List customers! Although I did not have an Angie's List deal they still gave me a discount for the work performed because I am an Angie's List customer!
