Morgan explained everything they were going to do, the company history and qualifications. He and his assistant were very conscientious about working neatly as to keep dust and debris to a minimum and cleaned up after themselves like no other contractor I've had working on my house. When there was an issue with the outside faucet they came out that very evening to fix the problem. I would definitely recommend Big State Plumbing to all my friends!

I called for an estimate and they came out very quickly. When we were ready, we did not have to wait long to get the work done. Morgan answered calls and returned calls promptly. I,ve had times when I've called businesses and not had that experience. They got the work done in 2 days as they said that they would. Very nice and easy to work with. Would use them again and recommend them.

The service was great. I had no issues with them. They were very quick on both jobs. They kept me informed about the work and they let me know before they did anything additional. The cost was reasonable. They did the work when they said they would.

Everything was handled very well except they neglected to disclose the trip charge in our phone conversation. This service provider should get an A rating.

They arrived on time and they took very little time to do the repair. The cost for the repair was very minimal as well. I would use them again. I would recommend that the company provides magnets with their information for future contact.

My husband tried welding the spots that was leaking but it didn't work. That's when I called in a professional The plumber used some kind of plastic (not PVC) and no welding. The parts all fit in perfectly and the job was done in less than an hour.

I normally do my own minor plumbing around the house but I could not repair the master bath faucet. The handle was corroded to the valve stem and it was not going to budge. I called Big State, I initially spoke with George and he met with me between the appointment times, he rescheduled for Friday, he called Thursday afternoon and said the plumber would be out Saturday morning between 8:00 and 12:00 pm. Marcus didn't show up until 12:20. That is the ONLY complaint I have. Other than being late, the service was wonderful, the work excellent and Marcus answered all my questions, even explaining how he removed the stuck faucet handle. This is a top notch company, I'm very impressed with both plumbers whom I met and I will definitely contact Big State for future plumbing jobs I can not perform myself.

I called Big State Plumbing at 12:30, they arrived at 1:15. Two extremely polite technicians diagnosed the problem, went to buy a part, and they were done before 2:00. I can't say enough good things about the service. Quick, neat, and very professional. With an Angie's List coupon, my repair was under $100.

We live in an old home and the water main leading into the house blew out late one afternoon, causing a major leak under the house. We shut the water off and called Big State. They were on scene the next day to diagnose the problem and calculate a solution. A written estimate was given, which I accepted and work begin. We had a new water line installed and inspected one day later. They tried to minimize damage from the digging and did an amazing job of "repairing" the yard where it was necessary to trench for the new line. It was necessary to cut through the floor of the house to install the new line and this process was also done wiht minimal damage which was repaired quite well. I was delighted with the speed and quality of the work and would certainly recommend them for any plumbing issues.

They arrived on time. Explained to me everything that they were going to do. When I ask about other things to be done, they were very accommodating. The job was finished within the time that they said. When the job was finished they left everything as clean as they found it. After the job was finished, They explained to me everything that they had done and asked me to inspect everything before making the final payment.

Great experience. We just bought our home and on our 3rd day in the house, a Sunday evening, the hose attachment on our toilet began to leak. I called and they had a plumber here in an hour. He promptly converted all 3 toilets back to standard and repaired the inside of one. The work was quick, and the price was the same as he quoted us before he began. I had to pay extra because it was a Sunday night, but it was well worth it. I will definitely use this plumber again.

Overall, I was pleased with the work done by Morgan and his crew. It took them two days to replace all the water lines for a two bedroom, two bath house that had galvanized steel pipes dating back to 1955. They also replaced the two outdoor spigots. In case anyone is interested, they used PEX A pipes, the highest grade available. And, I appreciated that Morgan hung in while I asked him a bunch of questions. My one complaint is that they weren't great about cleaning up at the end of each work day. The floors in the house and the garage had debris on them that first evening. And, they had to come back to clean up one of the bathrooms after they had finished the job because there was mud on the floor and gunk in the tub. Morgan made things right and, in the end, I was very pleased with the work. Note: Church Services leveled my foundation earlier this year and were fastidious in cleaning up the work area at the end of each day - and that's with major digging all around the perimeter of the house. I was extremely impressed and pleased with their attention to that. They have set a new bar in terms of customer satisfaction.

I had no problem with them and they actually did really good. They were awesome, they did the estimate and they did the job.

They are one of the few plumbing companies that agreed to do a free quote inspection. The plumber was knowledgeable and explained all the technicalities in detail and answered our questions with patience. We would certainly use them when we schedule the repairs in our recently purchased home.

I will hire them again when we need a plumber.

They were very prompt. He was very diligent in his work. I was really impressed with the plumber that came out.

It went very well. I got a few other quotes to replace the 37 year old galvanized pipes and Big State was in the middle. I'm very glad I went with them. The job started on time, they did a professional job and cleaned up before they left. No drama, no worries. The city inspector came out the day after they finished and found no issues. They also stayed within their estimated amount. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Prior to start the sample of the pipe was shown, the assembly with fitters was demonstrated, compared to PVC pipes to understand advantages and disadvantages, the approximate cost was given. We understood what will be done and made the right decision. The work was scheduled for 2 days and was completed in 2 days by two very pleasant specialists. They were always on time, used their time highly efficient. Our daily activities were not affected at all while the work was conducted: we had cold/hot water and functional bathroom. At the end of each day there was no need to clean up - plumbers took excellent care of dust and waste while working, as this involved breaking walls in several places. Also we asked the company to check our sewer pipes, and they run a test at a very low rate. We were happy to know there were no problems. At the completion the price for this work did not exceed the estimate. We had not only very pleasant, but very professional individuals conducting this job.

They showed up right at the beginning of the window they gave us. They said they were going to call us before they came over, but they didn't call ahead. That was OK because we were home anyway, though. They first came and looked at the heater we had to determine what kind of replacement heater they needed to get. Then they hooked up a line to drain our heater while they went to to the store to get a new one. This didn't take too long. When they came back, they disconnected the old heater and installed the new heater. The pipes they disconnected leaked, but they were very good about keeping everything clean, and wiped everything down when the job was finished. We are very happy with the service. They were professional, knew what they were doing, and the price was fair. We got the price as a deal on Angie's list.

I had 4 minor items to resolve. #1 the kitchen sink was stopped up and it was taken care of quickly and effeciently. #2 the bar sink had a leak under the sink. The plumber did not have his van with his tools so he had to make a 40 mile round trip to a hardware store to get the correct tool. Several days later I had to call him back because not only did it still drip under the sink, the sink was stopped up. When he returned to fix it, he admitted it was his mistake. However, he told me (several times) the sink was not plumbed correctly, and all I could say was in 35 years we had never had a problem with it. I did not appreciate his saying he had been to school and was a master plumber. I had no response for that, but I would put my sink's performance up against his plumbing any day. Also he left plumber's putty around the drain and told me not to touch it. So now I have a sticky, dirty ring of plumber's putty that is gradually wearing away. #3 One of the toilets had a slow leak and I asked to have the works inside the tank replaced. When he returned for the bar sink, I told him the level of the water in the tank was still dropping. I asked him about the flap but he said that wasn't it. I was told later that I might have a crack that would be expensive to fix. I declined that, and now when the tank refills spontaneously I just reach inside and adjust the flap which fixes it. #4 I asked to have a turning type facet control replaced with a lever type. Again he didn't have his truck with the tools for that job. So I dropped it.

They were very prompt and efficient.

I have used Big State Plumbing numerous times over the last (10) years, and have had great results with their service. They are generally on time as they schedule the appointments, and upon arrival, they greet you with a handshake and with confidence that they are there to provide you excellent service. They have done work on the inside and outside, and with each incident, the price was fair, the job was done very well, and they cleaned up the area upon leaving. I have referred them to several of my personal friends, and have received very positive feedback on the service and the prices. The most recent service on the installations in the bathroom was in the vicinity of $500, but considering the time spent on the job, and the work that was performed, it was a fair price. I would not consider using anyone else for my plumbing service, and I highly recommend them for your plumbing service as well. I give them an A plus overall.

I had a break in a water main at my uncle's house. I arranged an appointment between 10 and noon. I arrived at the house at 10:10 and the Big State plumber pulled up before I got out of the car. He quoted the price, I approved, and 30 minutes later the leak was fixed. I thought that was pretty good! Thanks Big State!
