Morgan and his crew arrived on time, they were kind, courteous, and cleaned up everyday. The price was exactly as quoted. We added in an extra line and the price was reasonable. We were so happy with their work we chose them to do our bathroom addition. More to come on that!

I appreciate the quick response from Big State Plumbing regarding the delays by their technician. Morgan came out at our scheduled time and gave a complete walk-thru with details of what I can expect with the plumbing. I understand that mishaps can happen and Morgan's offers for the missed appointments are more than I expected. I will definitely recommend this company. Very professional and pleasant, also checked my washing machine which had started to leak yesterday and said it was not the hoses. He did not charge me a penny, and I definitely would use them again if needed.

Morgan, the owner, arrived on time at my home. After explaining the leaking problem in the master bathroom, he went into the attic to see what might be causing the problem. He didn't take long to diagnose the problem which ended up being a rusty pipe that had cracked and begun leaking. He took several photos to show me visually what he was explaining. He quoted me a total price of $350 to replace the pipe. Fortunately for me, he had all the materials he needed in his truck. The repair took less than 30 minutes and when he had completed the work, he gave me the rusty pipe and the new type of piping that he used for the replacement so that I could show my husband later. He also showed me a photo of the finished repair. Since I had a coupon for his company that I found on Angie's List, I presented it to him and my cost was reduced to $300. Before he left, he did a final check for any remaining leaks and wanted a broom to clean up after his work. This is a family owned company and I any very satisfied with the quality of the entire experience. I would definitely use Big State Plumbing again. Sue Stuck

Big State responded quickly and professionally in every way. This was a major job as we have an old house with many potential issues. They found and addressed them all in a most timely manner. They were there when they said they'd be and finished when they said they would. I highly recommend them for any plumbing problem. IG and his crew are totally professional in every way.

We called on a Sunday thinking we would be able to leave a voice mail for a call back on Monday--a live person answered and advised us they would have a person out at 8:30 AM--they were here on time and gave us a quick estimate and a quote for additional work. They were very professional and very quick about their jobs. I would recommend them.

Arrived promptly and advised cost to complete job ($225). I had a $50 Angie's list coupon so I allowed them to continue but $225 is way high for 1/2 job plus $20 worth of materials. I was advised that job was finished but toilet would hardly flush because floater was set to fill tank only 1/3 full. Asked them to adjust floater and they ended up having to replace the fill valve. Would give a higher score except for pricing....I guess they factored Angie's list coupon into initial pricing so really the coupon is worthless.

Contact them regarding replacing hot water heater. I noticed water in the drip pan and the unit is 9 years old. They came out the same day for a free estimate. Provided pros-cons on tank versus tank-less with no sales pressure to go either way. Agreed on the work for a 50g tank unit and they where back the next day. I had some concerns as the hot water heater was located in a tight spot in the attic of a three story townhome. No problems with install or work performed.

After getting quotes from several companies, and then reviewing license information, I chose Big State Plumbing to do the work. They were in the middle range as far as price quote but their reviews were good and they seemed trustworthy. Many of the other companies (both higher and lower priced) had expired license information and/or gave me false information. Big State completed the job in a timely manner, the plumbers were extremely polite and accomodating. They also cleaned up well after the job each day. I would definately use this company, if needed, in the future.

Installed 2nd floor attic 50 gallon water heater.

I thought I had a leak in the piping around my bathtub. There has been woodwork damage. So I called Big State Plumbing. I spoke to Morgan, and we arranged for them to come the next day between 8 and 10am. I asked if there was a service charge to come out and was told no. Sure enough, the next day Marcus arrived at my home at 9:30am. He looked at the plumbing around the tub, even got up in the attic to look at the pipes going down to the tub. He found no leaks. He suggested I recaulk the tub. Becuse there was no repair, there was no charge....WOW thats refreashing!

The project was completed in a very timely manner and the workers were very polite and helpful. The Project Foreman preformed extra work he deemed necessary at no cost to us. The cost of the project was extremely fair. I plan to suggest to my neighbors that they use Big State for future plumbing problems -- I know we will!

They arrived at the time they told my husband that they would. Too bad hubby neglected to tell me they were going to be 2 hours later than the first appointed time. Both men were well groomed and clean dressed. They were very polite and introduced themselves upon arrival. They told me the replacement would take one hour and were right on time! They were in and out quickly and cleanly! I have a lot of HOT water and I'm very happy!

It went great. Gave me a heads up courtesy call to say exactly when he would be there and that was in the time frame I expected him. Cleaned up all the mess and trained me on lighting the heater. Hauled away the old heater.

It went very well. The two men who did the work were punctual, efficient, and very polite. Really nice guys! It took them just 2 days. They cleaned up their mess each night and left me running water overnight. They also offered the best price.

We were having a stand-by whole house generator installed on our property. The generator needed to be connected to our propane tank, but the installers were not licensed to perform propane work. They could not recommend anyone so I turned to Angie's list. Big State Plumbing had very good reviews and I called them. They are licensed to perform propane work, which very few plumbers are. I wanted an estimate and George Jackson came out the very next day. He could have come the same day I called, but my work schedule did not allow it. Mr. Jackson was very courteous and gave me a fair estimate. The work could have been performed the next day, but I needed it done the following week. Not a problem. Mr. Jackson showed up on the scheduled day, on time and got right to work. He connected the plumbing from my propane tank to the generator, plus did an additional repair job when he noticed a leak at the regulator. The cost of the job came in below the estimate by a couple hundred dollars! I had to leave for work before the job was completed and when I came home that evening, everything was done. I did want a little "tweaking" done and called Mr. Jackson the next day. Not a problem! He came by and fixed everything to exactly the way I wanted it for no charge! I definitely recommend Big State Plumbing and George Jackson. Both were superb!

Had galvinized pipes replaced with PEX. Very happy with the work, they were professional and prompt.

We are completely 100% satisfied with their service. They came out the same day we first called to inquire about the service, gave us an estimate, a firm start date, estimate of completion time answered all our questions. The two installers, a plumber and an apprentice plumber, were quiet, efficient and focused on doing a good job. The amount of time the water was shut off was, based on hours, less than a day. Minimally invasive in our daily life. We now have clean water! What a treat and delight. No rusty water anywhere. Amazing how much better life is with clean water. Need new water pipes installed? Please use this firm. You will be glad you did.

Both gentlemen that came were wonderful. I was frantic, and they told me to calm down. Then I placed buckets under the leaks. They were so professional and curious. I was so relived! They fixed the problem in about 30 minutes. I want to keep these gentlemen for life because they helped me tremendously! Even the cost man was reasonable, and they accepted all types of payment

It took two trips yet once they had the water heater it took about one hour. My concern is the cost required an additional 200 dollars due to being in an addict. Suggest to note the cost is for garage water heater replacement.

I felt confidant at first that the situation was resolved. I also had a new washing machine, very difficult for me to know where the leak was coming from. Well I missed the leak within my 30 day warenty, was charged another $150 for same job. To be honest the job was done poorly from the start no reason to have to come back if it was done throughly and then to still charge me the trip fee! When they came back second time it look a lot long and they were on the roof, they did not do that on the first trip-means they did not do a good job the first time. I will not use them again. I did like the worker that was sent out Marcus but again I was fooled.

It was good. He came to unclog the pipe in our house to keep it flowing. He was very timely. I called the night before I got the answering service and they got me first thing in the morning. He did the work and left and it was fine.

I had water stain on ceiling in a rent house bathroom. It appeared to be a water pipe above the bathroom. The water lines are old and i was afraid they were going to need to be replaced. They came out and established that the lines are old but they are not leaking at the current time. They trouble shot where the water could be coming from and did not charge me. They said it was part of the free estimate. I was very impressed by the service and the professional approach to solving the issue. I will you them again.
