Went well, Very courteous plumber. Fairly straight forward work.

Every aspect of it was good. He was professional and showed up on time. They got the job done in about one hour. The scheduling was good.

Jason only spent about 10 minutes looking at the sprinkler system, and said that the knocking was inside the wall. I told him I don't want to cut open the wall but asked him to write up an estimate and I'll contact his company if I choose to follow his suggestion. Jason promised to email me the estimate but he never did. The Big Deal was for two hours of work, so I asked him to check the water drip from the spout in the bathtub on the 2nd bath. Jason said to get it fix , he needed to cut open the wall. I told him no, and asked him to put everything back the way it was. Jason spent another 15 min on this task. I asked Jason to check a leak on the faucet in the second bathroom as each time I turn the cold water handle to certain angle, water leaked out from the base of the handle. Jason took out the cold water faucet, and managed to stop the leak. This task took about 20 min. I asked Jason to look at the second sink since it has the same problem but only on occasions but at the moment, it worked fine. Jason said no, since it wasn't leaking, he wouldn't do anything with it. He said he would make it leak if he takes it apart. Jason left after spent roughly about an hour at my home. The faucet in the master bathroom started to leak again with in a week. I called Big State and asked them to send someone else out as Jason did not correctly fix the problem. Big State sent Josh who told me that I need to pay an additional $141 for labor and parts to fix this same faucet that Jason already "repaired". Josh explained that I used up the value of my $99 Big Deal. When I objected, he called his boss, and said if I purchased the part, he would only charge $68 for the labor. He also said that had I called them directly and not the used the Big Deal, it would have been $141 total. I asked Josh to put everything back, as I do not want to pay more for the same job. However, once Josh put it back, the leak is now much worse. Water pour out in large amount around the base. Josh said that there was nothing he could do except replace the parts. He advised me not to use the sink, since the leak could damage the cabinet underneath. After Josh visit, I contacted Big State Plumbing who agreed to refund the $99. However, Big State said they can't refund me as I paid Angie's. I contacted Angie's who then said I need to submit the complaint and they will work with Big State to issue me a refund. Sigh!!!

The plumber who turned up said that travel time was part of the 2 hours and so there was only 1 hour for work available. The work he did (unclog drains, tighten facets etc) was fine but we were annoyed he did not deliver as the deal had indicated. When I emailed the company afterwards to follow up, they were very apologetic and offered to make up the time, which was good.

The technician arrived on time, did the work as promised, and diagnosed that I had some broken pipes which would cost approximately 15,000 dollars to repair. However, the report was very brief, and I tried to follow up with the company to get some more detailed information about the technician's findings. Unfortunately, no one ever followed up with me.

The technician they sent out was not competent. I did not trust him to do other work for me. He did the work okay and I was happy with everything. I purchased different wax free seals to put on the toilets specifically and he ended up putting on the wax seals without consulting me.

It was great. They got the job done in about one hour. I had no problems with the scheduling and he showed up when he said. The plumber was very congenial and made a lot of offers to help and was informative. He was a good service rep.

They were great and very nice. They stayed the whole 2 hours. I felt it was quite a deal!

Very difficult to find where leak was and others gave up.

Easy to schedule a Big Deal, prompt followup. Technician was pleasant and responsive to questions. It was a very positive experience!

Everything was handled through Angie's list very quickly and efficiently. I used one of Angie's Big Deals to lower the cost. Josh arrived on time and was very professional. Clean up was excellent. I would not have known that there was a service provider in my home except that I now have a working garbage disposal. The entire process was flawless from beginning to end. When I need plumbing work done again, I will contact Big State Plumbing, Inc. Keep up the excellent customer service.

It was a very difficult job for the guys. They dug and dug and it was soooo muddy from all the rain and finally found the problem. The tree roots in my yard were unbelievable. Josh worked so patiently breaking through the roots yet not harming the large tree. He was very concerned about doing a good job. He was so concerned about trying to make the yard better that he came back after the dirt had dried out some so that he could fill in the holes better. He also made a cut off valve for me so that I could turn the water off to the house without having to struggle to turn it off by the street. I really appreciate knowing there is a plummer that you can trust because you don't get "moore" when you call "john".

The service went well. I had them repair the toilet. The technician completed the service in under 2 hours. He was very cordial and did a nice job. He had good information to pass along to me. I had no issues with scheduling and he showed up right on time.

No problems encountered whatsover with installation of new set of steel braided washing machine hoses or the new Moen Fina Rainfall Showerhead in the bathroom. Installation of both was done in less than 30 minutes and no problems were encountered with functionality after installation completed. I could not have been more pleased with how smoothly both of those projects proceeded. He attempted to repair a minor leak in the kitchen faucet involving the hose sprayer and initially stated fixing it would be no problem but he was unable to get the leak to stop and suggested I buy a new faucet alltogether. I also requested that the refrigerator coils be vacuumed out. He stated he could attempt cleaning them but told me he had no experience doing that and really would not know what he was doing. Needless to say, I did not have him clean the coils. The total time spent on everything was probably just under one hour. I paid for 2 hours so was a little disappointed for that reason; however, the replacement of the washing machine hoses and showerhead were at the top of my priority list, so I was really happy about those two projects getting completed successfully.

never came out, waited for them, called twice, found out that they went to old address, we had to call them, they never called us back, said angielist never gave them his number, very rude on the phone.

Everything was done correctly and I was very happy with the service.

Tech arrived as promised. Explanned what he was doing. Took me up to the attic to show me what he was doing and what results we should expect. (Note: another local Angies listed plumber [Milton Frank] charged me least 3X Big State's fee AND told me it was because of the parts they needed to replace. It was a one year old unit then. This year they quoted me less but it was still more than twice Big State!) Big State Tech showed me that there was not any place to even replace a part on this unit !!! His pump/bucket/vinegar was all that was needed. To Milton Franks credit Big State Tech said it was an excellant installation, better than most using the right size of pipes and Gas service. Howevernothing in Franks service can justify thier exceptionally high fees1 Big State though farther away can match Franks response times and cost you less. Highly courteous and professional men arrived at our home after calling to confirm the size and height of the replacement we needed. They were neat during their work; they worked well together. They drained our old one, removed it, and replaced it with an upgraded model. All if this work was performed in our attic well over 100. After an easy conversation with the owner, I had upgraded to a model with a longer warranty., he quoted me the price in less than 5 minutes. Overall, one of the easiest home improvements ever!,,

Plumber was very punctual. He brought the new hot water with him and insalled the new one. He then took the old one away. He did the job in less time that he'd said it would take, and cleaned up hallway with sweeper. Very courteous and professional. We are very pleased. We appreciate the Angie's List special.

They did a great job. One Friday night (of course it was a Friday night), a leak formed in my ceiling, just below my upstairs bathroom. As it only leaked when the A/C was running, I thought it was an A/C issue. I called my A/C guy and he found that my A/C drains into the bathroom line and that it was backing up. Basically it was a plumbing issue. Since I had problems with one of the bathroom sinks for a while, I bought the deal. They came out and found a huge plug of junk in the line. He cleared it out, snaked the line for the whole length and was out of my house in about 45 minutes. Now my plumbing works great and my A/C drain isn't backing up and causing a leak. I would recommend them to my family and friends, and would definitely use them again.

He showed up early and was very informative about the drain. He unclogged it and the price was great. Thank you and we will use your service again!!

Big State arrived on time and the work was done quickly and efficiently. Since the job did not take the 2 hours paid for he went outside and fixed a leaky faucet and did a general home plumbing inspection. We were happy with the job and the employee sent to do the work was friendly and helpful.

It went very well. The previous hot water heater was not working and after they arrived we also found out it was not installed up to code and BIG STATE had the additional supplies to have it connected in the right way so we would be up to code from here on out. They did everything professionally. I would for sure use them again.
