It took considerable work and left large holes is the sheet rock throughout the house.I had assumed, erroneously, that repair of this was part of the agreement. (Please use a trusted and skilled man [men] to do this.) I will follow all this with painting of the interior.of the house.

Provider was very accommodating since we were undergoing some renovations in making 2 trips to complete the scheduled repair. First trip was to remove the toilet and prep for flooring repair and the second trip to assemble and install new toilet. Both appointments the rep showed up on time and performed the task at hand exceeding my expectations. I would recommend and I will use this company again.

Very Professional and polite. He did a beautiful job and we love our new faucet! We would definitely call on Big State in the future for any of our plumbing needs.

He used a professional "snake" equipment to check and test after all the steps.

We were scheduled for the next day between twelve and three. I had to open my clean out outside in order to keep the sewage from entering my house from the bath tubs. We are raising three grand kids ages 4,5,12 and they need to use the facilities and so do me and my wife. The next day after having the sewage water in my back yard I received a call from Big State informing us that they will not be able to make the appointment and for me to call another plumbing company. It's Saturday afternoon and if a called another plumber it would be Monday or Tuesday when they would come. I will not recommend this company they are rude and do not care about customers. I have sewer water in my yard and have to wait 48 hours for a plumber to arrive. Thanks Big State Plumbing.

The were on time and did a great job at a reasonable price. I was happy with the work and would have them return for work in the future.

I bought the Big Deal for $749 for a water heater replacement. I was quickly contacted by Julie to schedule the appointment. She told me that it would be an additional $75 for a 50 gallon instead of a 40 and an additional $150 for attic installation since they needed an extra person. I had expected those extra charges from reading reviews here but they also added a $20 "trip charge" which I thought was a little silly. The work was done professionally and quickly. My appointment window was from 8-12 on Saturday and they arrived about 11:30. They finished the job in 3 hours but most of that time was waiting for the old heater to drain. Overall they were responsive, reasonably priced, and did a good job. I'll be giving BSP a call if I have plumbing needs in the future.

Josh did a fantastic job and went above and beyond to make sure we would not continue to have problems in in future. He was extremely nice and courteous and we felt very comfortable with him. Would highly recommend Josh.

The service was good. They installed two toilets, a shower head and a faucet. They took care of everything I needed. I felt it was a good deal and I would use them again in the future.

The job went PERFECT. Julie , the scheduler, was super easy to work with and really went the extra mile to ensure that the plumbers would know exactly what I needed done. Customer service at it's finest! She's a jem!The plumber ( Josh ) did an outstanding job. Josh arrived on time and made a courtesy call before hand to make sure I was home. Professional, polite, and friendly in all discussions with me. Josh gave me EXTREMELY HELPFUL information on where to get matching hardware so that I could keep the original hardware look from the 1930's. He saved me money and time!Finished job looks wonderful and works perfectly. He even made the shower a smidge taller than prior work so that it's easier for me to actually stand under the showerhead! I would hire this company again in a heart beat. ( and probably will when we re-do our kitchen ).

The service gave me a window of 12:00-4:00 PM. At 3:55 PM, I called them, as the plumber had not arrived, and I had received no communications. They told me he had a "plumbing emergency" earlier in the day, and was running late; would arrive at approximately 5:00. No problem, although a call from them would have been preferable to a call from me to them. When the plumber arrived a little after 5 PM, he did install the two faucets; however, I had purchased the two faucets, and had not purchased water line extension hoses. Now, he very cooperatively went to a hardware store to purchase them, so good service; but couldn't a plumber, knowing he was going to install two customer-supplied faucets (it was in the service request I submitted), bring the lines that he admitted most customers don't know enough to get? I felt bad for him having to go to the store that late in the evening, but I had really expected a "plumber's truck" with lots of little connectors, lines, etc., rather than a pickup truck with nothing except two sets of channel-locks and a screwdriver. Anyway, good overall service, not quite prompt, maybe not as prepared as one would hope, but the guy was very nice, very helpful, and got the job done.

We purchased an Angie's List Big Deal on August 25 paying $99 to Angie's List for $200 worth of service from Big State Plumbing. The plumber himself arrived within the window we were given and did an excellent job. However, when we were presented with our invoice, the $99 cost of the Big Deal was charged to us again. $200 was then deducted from the invoice total resulting in a grand savings of $2 with this Big Deal. We paid Angie's List: $99 for he Big Deal Big State charged us: $339.51 for plumbing service $99 for the Big Deal -$200 credit for Big Deal === $239.51 Total paid to Big State So for $339.51 worth of plumbing service, we paid $337.51 ($99 to Angie's List + $239.51 to Big State) Since we were charged twice for the Big Deal, once by Angie's List and once by Big State, we saved $2.00. Had Big State not also charged us for the Big Deal, the total to Big State should have been $139.51 ($339.51 for plumbing service less $200.00 credit for the Big Deal). No amount of discussion with the Big State representative could convince her that the Big Deal charge should not have been added to the total on the Big State invoice. Bottom line: the plumber himself did an excellent job, but don't bother with the Big Deal!

repaired my shower which was not turning on and they were very affordable.

They did a great job and he found out what was wrong right away. He fixed it and I've had no problems since. I'd definitely use them again and give them an A+ if I could!

Everything went well. Fixed the problem and now it drains normal.

The Plummer that showed up from this company was a responsible and well trained professional. He did a few things extra without charging and also cleaned up after finishing his work. We are very happy with his work and will not hesitate to ask him back for any pluming related work in our house.

I purchased a Big Deal (2 hour plumbing labor for $99). Big State Plumbing came by, spent an hour and installed 2 bathroom faucets and 1 kitchen faucet. The guy told me that the 2 hour deal covers his travel time and labor. He said it took him more than an hour to travel from Houston and I own him additional $130. I was shocked to hear that. I called the office and confirmed that this is for 2 hour labor excluding travel time. Indeed, I only used 1 hour of labor time. They guy finally back off and left. He tried to rip me off and this was just very unprofessional !!

Called and came early. Showed me how to do small things he checked. Very helpful. Cleaned up after job completed

It was an Angie's List Big Deal we purchased. The service worked very well. The guy was on time and he did everything appropriately. We were very happy with the service. However we asked for a receipt and estimate to do another project and we never received either one. That was a disappointment because we were pleased with the actual service. There was some extra charge but we were expecting it, so it was all right.

I had a great experience. Punctual and gave quote right away. Gave good reference to air conditioning man.

Connecting with the company was somewhat of a joke (all calls went to voice mail)—had to call 3 times before someone answered—and had to wait to finally be called back. When I finally did connect with the company, I was asked to explain in detail what I needed done, so the plumber would bring the appropriate tools; I have no idea if he brought anything but a hose to connect to the water heater—the only task he finished. I was concerned about the water from my kitchen faucet smelling; it was never addressed. I have no water pressure in the hot-water tap in one of the bathroom sinks; his reply – “you have old pipes and I don’t want to break the pipe”. (Strangely, I have had other pipes in my house replaced, and there was never a problem.)

No problems-- was able to do the job quickly and efficiently. Surprisingly I furnished the necessary 2 wheeler.

There was a misunderstanding in the begining, I thought it was total of $150 extra for both the water heaters being in the attic, that is what the receptionist quoted, then when the plumber came out he said it was $ 150 for each water heater. Josh Linamod and Josh Parsons, both licensed plumbers came withtwo brand new water heaters worked almost all day, very difficult job they did. It was meticulously done, very professional in all respects. Thank you Big State, you are excellent.

While they didn’t do anything wrong, I didn’t need the service as I was going out of town. I was trying to get them to schedule when I first bought it and the dates they provided didn’t work. Communication with the company via email was excellent.

The job was at my daughter's home and I had no dealing with the company outside of making the contact and paying the bill. I understand the job was done professionally and everyone is happy!
