Big State Plumbing came out for the inspection, but did not perform the Camera Inspection. Instead they showed me a root, and said there was a break in my line. They did not show me where the break was, just stated that it was under my house and they would have to tunnel underneath to fix it. They gave me a quote of $5,000 to tunnel underneath the house and left.

I rated them a B because within that week, something had come apart underneath the toilet. They had to come back and redo it. The price is kind of high. The quality was good. I would use them again in future.

It was fine. They didn't necessarily have all the equipment with them that they needed to have. They went to a hardware store to get a part. I think the price was fair.

I don't remember the cost. This is not the first time.

This is the third time I have had them do work for me.

This went great. I awaited to write a review because I had gotten this work done by another provider before and it only lasted a month. The guy who came out was extremely professional, did a great job, and its been a year and I have not had any problem.

I went to Google and looked up some DIY remedies: plunger (didn't work), manual snake (couldn't get it to fit past the drain), hot water (nothing), Liquid Plumber + hot water (nothing but a horrible chemical smell). So, off to Angie's List... I looked up the plumbing special deals and found the one for $405. Sold. I got a call from them the very next morning and got an appointment the next day. Amazing! I didn't have to wait a week, or even 48 hours. The morning of my appointment I received an email with the plumber's name (Rick) and picture. I knew exactly who would come over. Rick was fantastic. He explained to me what the problem was, how he was going to fix it, and why it happened in the first place. He worked so fast and efficient, he was finished inside of an hour. It was great working with this company. I will definitely call them again for any plumbing needs.

Given the scope of the job, it went ok. The company was flexible regarding splitting the payment so that I could pay in two installments...1/2 down and the remainder a month later. I did have to follow up on clean up issues. They left a huge slab of concrete in the yard. Given the price, that was unacceptable to me. The excavation crew also destroyed my sprinkler system, costing me $400.00. I got tired of the back and forth over that. Initially I was told that it would be no problem. Later I was asked to provide an invoice. Well, the guys that fixed the sprinkler system do well to speak English, much less produce an invoice. I could have employed someone else to fix it, but it would have cost double. So no reimbursement for $400 on a 14,000 job!! They really should have just fixed it themselves....not my problem since I didn't break it. Again, they are good at the runaround game. So, overall I'm disappointed with the service and won't use them again.

I purchased the Angie's List deal for a new water heater and installation. Alex & Angel came out and did a great job on the install. Everything went well. I will consider them again when my second water heater bites the dust.

Well, they came to diagnose the problem on 1/4/2016 and schedule the appointment to fix the issue for 1/8/2016 - TEN MINUTES BEFORE the appointment, they called to cancel. The appointment was re-scheduled for 1/11/2016 - ACCORDING TO THE PERSON SCHEDULING THE APPOINTMENT "THE PLUMBER WILL BE THERE AT 8 AM" - But on Saturday 1/9/2016 they left a message stating that the appointment was from 8 to 12. The work was completed and appeared to be in good order, however, later in the week we noticed it was still leaking. On 1/18/2016 we called back to schedule an appointment to fix the problem. They scheduled the appointment for 1/19/2016 "FROM 4 TO 6" but later in the day, they left a message stating that the appointment was FROM 4 TO 8. So, here we are, on 1/19/2016 at 5:30 we called to inquire about the status of the appointment and we are told by the person who schedules appointments that THE PLUMBER CAME TO THE HOUSE AT 3:05, KNOCKED ON THE DOOR, CALLED MY CELL PHONE AND SINCE THERE WAS NO ANSWER, HE LEFT - BUT I WAS HOME AT THAT TIME AND NOBODY KNOCKED ON MY DOOR AND NOBODY CALLED MY CELL PHONE The person that schedules the appointments had the plumber call me and he stated that HE HAD BEEN AT MY HOUSE AT 2:39 (NOTE THE TIME DIFFERENCE), THAT MY SON WAS WASHING HIS CAR IN THE DRIVEWAY - MY SON WAS STILL AT SCHOOL... I called back and pointed out that the APPOINTMENT WAS FROM 4 TO 8 and asked that they returned today 1/18/2016 instead of tomorrow as they re-scheduled (1/20/2016 from 4 to 8). The answer was they had already been at my house and I wasn't there... IS IT NOT CLEAR THAT APPOINTMENTS FROM 4 TO 8 ARE NOT THE SAME AS SHOWING UP AT 2:39 OR 3:05???? SO, IF I AM NOT HOME AT ANY TIME THEY CHOOSE TO SHOW UP, THEN I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THEM UNTIL THEY DECIDE TO RETURN???? I will update the review after tomorrow, if they decide to show up, with the result of the work performed... THIS IS THE UPDATE FROM THE 1/20/2016 APPOINTMENT: So, the plumber came home and it turns out that THE WORK PREVIOUSLY COMPLETED WAS DONE WRONG AND EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE RE-DONE. As a consequence, we now have another appointment for 1/22/2016 from 8 to 12 AND WE HAVE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $325 TO HAVE THE PROBLEM "FIXED". So, we paid FOR NOTHING AND TWO WEEKS LATER WE HAVE TO PAY AGAIN... THIS IS THE LATEST UPDATE: This morning (1/21/2016), I contacted the office and asked why I was supposed to pay again if they hadn't fixed the problem to begin with. The answer I received was: YOU TOLD US THE SHOWER WAS LEAKING, WE FIXED WHAT YOU TOLD US... I want to make this very clear: 1/4/2016 - I called their office, stated that I believed my shower was leaking because the closet wall, which is where the shower plumbing runs, had signs of water damage. They scheduled an appointment for the afternoon to come out and give me an estimate. 1/4/2016 - A PLUMBER CAME TO MY HOME, OPENED THE WALL, DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE FOR THE REPAIR. I ACCEPTED THE ESTIMATE AND THEY SCHEDULED THE REPAIR FOR 1/8/2016 1/8/2016 - TEN MINUTES BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT THEY CALLED TO CANCEL IT 1/11/2016 - A DIFFERENT PLUMBER CAME TO MY HOUSE, "FIXED" THE PROBLEM AND GOT PAID FOR THE WORK. THE SHOWER CONTINUED TO LEAK, HOWEVER. 1/18/2016 - WE CALLED TO HAVE THEM COME BACK. THEY SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT FOR 1/19/2016 FROM 4 TO 8 1/19/2016 - THEY SHOWED UP AT 2:39 OR 3:05 (DEPENDING ON WHO YOU TALK TO), CLAIMED THAT THEY KNOCKED ON THE DOOR AND CALLED MY CELL PHONE AND SINCE I DIDN'T ANSWER THE PLUMBER LEFT AND WOULD NOT COME BACK UNTIL THE NEXT DAY 1/20/2016 - THE PLUMBER STATED THAT THE PREVIOUS WORK WAS WRONG, NEEDED TO BE RE-DONE AND SAID WE HAD TO PAY $325 TO GET IT DONE This is just a rip-off, they took my money and my shower is still leaking.

First day went terrible, bad day seemed nothing went right. Alex was not there... Second day Alex came out finished install, did an awesome job.!!! What I liked best, he took the time to ask us if any questions or any additional requests. Then took the time to complete with out hesitation. We purchase tankless hot water heater, they installed. Working great so far. gave a one year labor warranty.

We had them replace the water heater the day after they gave us the original diagnosis. We explained that we had people in from out-of-town and we really needed to get it up and running. Alex said he would install it later that day, but he got held up on another call, so he didn't make it out until about 8:00 that night, which was fine. He and his co-worker stayed until after 9:00. The only issue was that when we woke up in the morning, we still did not have hot water. I contacted the office and Alex right away and he came by 8:00 am. He had to run to get a part (not sure why on a brand new unit), but he had it working by 10:00. All and all, they were very responsive and professional. It would have just been nice if it had worked right off the bat. Ultimately, I would use them again.

They came out, it was after the purchase date. We just had a lot of miscommunication. So I wasn't happy about that. Well the work, you know, I wanted to get an assessment done because I have a number of plumbing issues, well not issues, we don't have a vanity there, we don't have the sink there so it was limited to what he could do at the time. I wanted him to give me a price on what it would cost to put the sinks in and he wanted to do the work, so that was our big discrepancy. So it's almost like I could have been charged and I may have, I'm trying to look at where, I can't even get that work out. It's kind of relative, I don't know how much everything cost. I'm not impressed with the cost. He didn't do the assessment, he told me he was going to send it to me but I never received it. They told me that someone would send me an email with the cost, I even called a second time and I haven't received anything via email. Let's give him an F for responsiveness because I still haven't received it. Oh they were timely. The guy that came he was nice guy just the overall experience I didn't like because I didn't get what I thought I was going to get. No, I would absolutely not use them again in the future. I'm hoping I can take the money I used and put it on something else.

Chose to hire the company with the best plan, even though it did cost somewhat more.

He repaired a clog, installed a toilet, tried to repair a toilet that was not sitting correctly. "The owner, Morgan Donahoe, showed up to do the work. He put in a new toilet in my brothers bathroom. The toilet lever was on the side and was awkward. I asked if he could install a toilet with the lever on the front. He told me they no longer make toilets with levers on the front. Since then I have seen toilets in the store and they do still make toilets with a lever in the front. In my bathroom, the toilet had a leak and did not sit correctly on the floor. The leak is fixed, however the toilet still doesn't sit correctly in my bathroom. I do not know why that wasn't fixed. When Morgan Donahoe was leaving he mentioned that he damaged some drywall in my bathroom. He didn't offer to fix the drywall and I was too busy at the time to deal with it. I called to try to get the issue resolved. The receptionist said she would have Mr. Donahoe call me. I haven't received a call back.

Very prompt and professional, did thorough exam, made recommendations but did not pressure me to buy anything else. I appreciate that.

He arrived on time and performed the service as promised. In addition, he provided me with an estimate as I need additional work done to correct a problem with the plumbling in the house. Sadly, I don't remember the name of the person that came to do the job but he was very friendly and extremely professional!

This was alright. When he arrived he said he would remove the toilet and that would cost me extra. He cleared the drain and the next day the clogged came back. He was very courteous but he seemed unprepared.

The provider inspected the water heater and after trying several different things including flushing the water heater, he decided to check the water filter. It was really clogged but he was able to remove it and get the water flowing again. I was very pleased with the service.

It was fine. I didn't dislike the service but I've had better plumbers. He had a young apprentice with him who he had do some of the work. He had to redo some of it for the guy. In the end, it was fine. It just took a little longer than what I hoped it would. They could put attention to make the experienced plumber do most of the work.

They were okay. There were no additional fees. For the services performed, the price was fair.

I already ruined too much time with this I am not going to waste more time here
