Justin and his crew of four came at 7am and worked very, very hard for two long days to get the job done. I was beyond pleased. The retained area looks beautiful and I am sure we have solved the standing water problem behind the garage which is bad after a heavy downpour. Justin was on the job working hard right along with his crew. He checked in with me regularly to make sure I was happy and was willing to make changes. We will be calling on him again when we are ready to redo the entry to our home.

This was a full 2 days of work - HARD WORK!! Justin Overbay was very professional when quoting the job all the way to completion of the job! They installed 160' of drainage pipe, 3 catch basins, lots of dirt & mulch and 3 pallets of grass! He was very polite and very prompt. He gave me very clear yard care advice. They did an awesome job! I definitely plan on hiring again to work on front yard - lawn care.

Justin explained there would be a $55 fee for him to come to the house to look at the existing sprinkler system and then develop an estimate for the work. He arrived on Wed July 29 got the information he needed, took the $55 check, and said he would have an estimate to me no later than Friday July 31 via email. One week later on August 5th I called to find out why he had not lived up to his commitment and left a message for him to call. No response. Rip Off, I strongly suggest you find a more reputable contractor. I plan to request my money back or take him to small claims court.

This may seem like a small job, but I think it reflects how nice it is to have a landscape professional you can trust. I have one spot in a bed next to the front steps. Nothing will grow there. I've replaced countless plants over the years! While on vacation this summer, I saw a yard that reminded me of my "problem spot". A large moss rock was placed next to the plants and it looked great. I picked up the phone and called Justin at Texas Landscape & Designs. He'd done work for me last spring and I was totally pleased. He returned the call that day and I discussed the idea with Justin. He had moss rocks on hand and knew just the size I would need. He quoted me a price of $65.00 to bring the large rock out and position it in the designated area. I mailed him a check and when I returned, my rock was in place and it was perfect. I was confident Justin would make the problem spot look just right; he has such a good eye for design.

We contacted Texas Landscape Design based on another Angie's List review. Justin Overbay got right back with us . We scheduled an appointment within days. Justin was prompt and professional. His bid was the best we'd received, not exactly the lowest, but close and it was obvious that he knew what he was doing. We had a "plan" and price in mind. Justin was a good listener, but he also knew what was and was not possible within our price range. He had so many money saving ideas that we loved and went with. He was also good to explain what we could do if we wanted to spend more or less. He has a good design eye and turned some real eyesores into very pretty spots on our property. The work was completed within a week. His crew worked nonstop and left everything clean and immaculate. Justin was on site almost the entire time. Our dying lawn is now beautiful and all the plants he put in are healthy and have survived the hot summer. We discussed a treatment schedule for the lawn so it will remain healthy. We've never done that with any other company. I think bottom line, we trusted Justin, and he's not disappointed us at all. I would recommend to anyone, "just stop shopping and call Justin"!
