Saxon Roofing & Repair

Project went very well. Mr. Saxon provided very good upfront service and presentation. We opted for hand nailed (instead of auto hammer), so job took extra day or so. Crew worked late on last day to finish up. We have bunch of shrubs and plants all around the house perimeter. Had couple issues with damage as old tiles removed from roof. Not serious and when pointed out to Mr. Saxon immediate actions were taken to address with crew. Clean up was good. Supervision was good. Above rated quality is less than 'A' until we have few weeks/months experience. Overall, a more than satisfactory experience.

I called Saxon roofing not only because they are a local roofing company but also because he said that he specialized in insurance claims. Steve Saxon was true to his word not only did he help me with my insurance claim after providing me with a quote within the time frame that he said he would, he promptly scheduled my job. From start to finish, Steve communicated with me and kept me posted about my roofing job. His crew started the job when he said they would and they worked very hard to get my job done in a timely manner. Not only did they do a great job on my roof, they did a great job on the clean up and even putting back my patio chairs where they found them. The customer service I received from Saxon Roofing was A+! If I ever need a roof again, I know who I will be calling.

Steve Saxon provided us the most economical quote of the 4 companies I had survey the job, while providing an excellent warranty - 20 years non-prorated material and labor, plus pro-rated coverage for an additional 20 years. Along with his quote, he provided a long list of references with contact information without being asked. I spoke with the majority of the references, both men and women, and received universally rave reviews of his company's work. The crew was led by Roberto, and everyone was extremely friendly and competent. They kept the jobsite as clean as possible during the work and did an exceptional cleanup job afterward. I have not found a nail yet. My wife is very hard to satisfy with quality of work by a contractor. She is very happy with the work and even commented that we now have the best looking roof in the neighborhood. Steve was very responsive to contacts. He provided any information requested and answered all questions without hesitation. Overall an exceptional company to work with.

Everything went great! Aside from the near daily rainstorms which delayed his crew from getting started this June, they did a spectacular job at installing a very complex roof on my 2 story home with around 20 different roof planes, many of which are extremely steep. On the second day a large rain storm came up but they got my not yet finished roof prepared for the rain before it hit and I didn't get a single drop inside the house. This delayed them until day 3 when they got it finished. At the end of the job they cleaned up my yard to perfection and ran magnets everywhere to pick up the millions of nails from where my old shingles were removed. He also arranged to have a local business install new rain gutters for me and when that company failed to show up when they agreed Mr. Saxon called in a friend from Houston who did rain gutters to get the job done when he promised. Mr Saxon got the entire job done as soon as he possibly could, taking into consideration that we had rain every day in June for something like two weeks straight (during the massive floods this year) and did it all for exactly what he estimated the job for. Two thumbs up on my recommendation for Mr Saxon! Couldn't be happier.

lSteve was very professional and went above and beyond in providing excellent customer service. He agreed to do the job even though it was a bit out of his work area, and he scheduled his crew for the next day. The job entailed more than we initially thought, but the crew worked extremely hard to make all the necessary repairs the same day. We will definitely be calling Saxon Roofing & Repair whenever we have roofing problems.

I noticed a leak around my chimney late afternoon on May 14 (during one of the recent monsoon rains around Conroe). I searched Angie's list for someone locally who was highly rated. I called Saxon Roofing that evening, Steve returned my call later that night, and had someone at my house to have a look shortly after 8:00AM the next morning. It was still raining that day so no work could be done immediately, but he did go on the roof and identified the problem. Then he returned on Saturday morning May 21 and completed the work. As far as I can tell the leak around the chimney has been resolved, and with all of the continued rain I think I would have noticed if it was leaking again. I think everything was good, I think the price was fair, and because of this I have rated them very high in every category. I will call them again if I have any more needs on my roof.

Saxon roofing was prompt and they provided a detailed report of the inspection. Professionalism and quality was an A+.

I had a water leaking in my bedroom from the roof. I looked on Angie's list and picked a contractor that had a good rating and reviews. I called Saxon roofing and want to schedule a time for them to come and look at my roof. To my surprise they came out that afternoon and fixed the leaking roof. That was in mid March. I was very pleased. With all of the heavy rains and storms lately I developed another leak around my fireplace chimney. I called Steve Saxon again to fix this new leak. Just as last month, he came out and fixed my roof that day. I could not ask for better service than that. It is obvious that I need a new roof and he will be the first contractor I call to get a quote. He did what he said he would, I thought the price was fair and he has a warranty on the repair. Jim S.

The job(s) were done in such a reasonable period of time we were amazed. Furthermore, since we were putting the home(s) up for sale, we actually sold one while the work was being done, and the other sold within a week of Saxon completing the job. 13It just shows that the quality of work far outweighed our expenses since IF the work had not been done with such quality of detail to items repaired, any buyer would have noticed. As it was, the quality of workmanship, the expertise and attention to detail, more than paid for itself since the homes both sold immediately.

He was prompt and courteous and did a good job.

Originally, Steve prepared a bid in response to a home purchase inspection report. It took longer than expected to get back to him because of the closing, but he stood by his bid. The repairmen were careful and went out of their way to make sure that I understood what they were planning to do. All in all, a very good transaction.

It's always been great. I've recommended him for roofing jobs and people have been happy with that too.

100% satisfaction "0" Issues. I do not want anyone to think he is cheap, he is the far best for the $, and more than reasonably priced for the quality of work performed.

Steve Saxon was very quick to respond to my call. The work was done promptly. The clean up afterwards was excellent. He helped me obtain insurance coverage. He also did a courtesy followup visit to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I would definitely recommend Saxon Roofing and Repair.

Using Saxon Roofing for our needs was an excellent choice. I was surprised at how quickly I got a response from our Angies List inquiry. The owner of the company, Steve, was great at managing the project, from the bid, to selecting the roof color, to lining up the materials, to getting the crew set up, to the final painting. His responsiveness to our questions and requests was outstanding. The day the workers were supposed to show up, there they were, even a little early! Juan, the project supervisor, exhibited well-honed skills in getting the team organized and on the move. When they went to work, things happened quickly and efficiently. Steve stopped by at the start of the project, and at the end of both days. He communicated with us during the day when we called with questions. And Juan did a good job of keeping things on track throughout the day. In spite of weather setbacks, the job was completed on time. After the crew left, Steve insisted we call if we had any problems. In spite of having to deal with things out of his control (mostly weather), he came to take care of a few final details that we had requested. He went above and beyond his duties in taking care of a few things. We like that Steve gave my mother a senior discount. The completed product is first-rate. And with all the rain we've had, we know for a fact that the roof no longer leaks! And it looks great!!!

It was nice to have an experienced roofer fixing only minor repairs. These guys know roofing and knew what the problem was right away. Very helpful.

They are trustworthy, honest, on time. Did quality work and cleaned up after themselves. They did what they said they would.

I contacted Steve with Saxon Roofing to get a roofing quote on 9/29/14. He arrived on 9/30/14 to inspect my roof. I had an emailed quote the same evening. My husband and I got 5 other quotes. Steve's was the best price, and he had great Angie's List reviews, so we contracted him to do the work. Within days of our decision (10/13/14), we were on his schedule, had a crew arrive (1017/14) and complete the job (10/18/14). Our house/roof looks AWESOME and I would recommend him to others. I look forward to working with Saxon Roofing in the future, as I have another roofing job to be completed!

I contacted Saxon Roofing after finding him on Angie's List on Saturday morning, October 4th. He told me he would send an associate of his out to check out the roof leak. His associate came out, found the location of the leak and repaired it. He then checked the roof for other problems and then told me what he found. Very professional and I will use them again.

We had some delays because of weather but once Steve saw a clear day in the forecast, he made it happen. It was a Sunday which is a day that he and his crew don't normally work, but he knew we needed a new roof before any more bad weather and so they showed up. Approximately 9 hours later they were finished with our new roof! Steve even helped us pick the color and he was spot on, it looks great! If we have to nitpick, the only thing that could be improved was the fine detail clean up. They cleaned up the major debris and many nails. However with a full roof replacement there must be a TON of nails and we did continue to find several more nails after the crew had left. Overall, we are completely satisfied and would recommend Saxon roofing for anyone who needs a new roof!

Everyting went excepionally well. The new roof looks great. Everything was done as promised and quoted. They also cleaned up nicely when the job was done. I couldn't ask for a better job. The quality of the material and the workmanship was excellent!
