Steve provided a prompt quote that included several options regarding color and "look" of the shingle. When the decision was made to use his company, the job was done on time and in a quality way.

Steve came out to demonstrate his product and generate a quote. His price was better than competitors and he demonstrated a knowledge of his business and understanding of my needs. It was good to see the owner of the company both at the time of sale and at the time of installation. He was conscientious about cleanup and about letting me know of any issues noted by his team during installation. They cleaned inside and out (debris in skylight area.) My only complaint was that the workers neglected to trim one shingle on a corner behind a tree and didn't reconnect an exhaust pipe, which was easily corrected by me. I'm sure if I had noticed these issues during installation Saxon would have corrected immediately. Great job overall and a painless experience.

In 2016 we had two hail storms damage our roof. We got quotes from 5 different roofing companies and decided to go with Saxon. Not because they were the cheapest quote but there reviews on BBB and other sites were the best. Most of the other companies wanted to use nail guns and I wanted hand nailing. Steve came to my house and showed me samples and gave me a quote with a no pressure presentation. One thing that impressed me was that he said each shingle would have six nails. The crew showed up on time as scheduled and went right to work. The foreman,s name was Bob. Bob was there to make sure things were done correctly and was there the hole time work was in progress. He would make sure every little detail was done correctly and it was.

They crew showed up on time, completed a quality installation and kept me informed throughout the process. They did an exceptional job both on the install as well as the clean up. I have had several roofs replaced and Saxon Roofing was by far the most professional and demonstrated exceptional workmanship. I will absolutely use them again!

I was looking for quality work on a home we love. Excellent communications throughout our discussions and negotiations. I inspected 5 recently completed roofs. Workmanship seemed excellent and clients were pleased. Prices were in approximately same range. I decided to go with another roofer, but the Saxon and the other roofing company were head and shoulders above the firms that I researched. If we build near Lake Conroe next year, I'll probably go with Saxon Roofing.

Great job! Steve is easy to work with and his employees were equally good. Everything was done in a timely manor. They showed up on schedule and finished when we were told they would finish. They cleaned up the yard and driveway to our satisfaction when they were through.

I was told someone would call me after speaking to Stephen Saxon himself. That was only the beginning of the troubles we had. The day of the appointment we finally got. The roofer was an hour and a half late showing up. And it was starting to rain as well. We were told when the gentlemen came out he'd have appropriate supplies for the job. Which we found out he did not! Then the worker left and said he'd be back out on Sunday, he again never showed. At around the time church let out he finally called to say he wasn't coming. And then 9:30 pm that night, he calls me wanting Me to give Him money to go get supplies. Instead of making out just one check to the company. When Saxon told me the guy would already have supplies and be ready to go. Then on Monday again we have a set app. And as previously, he once again did not show up for the app. Due to he had someone else's job to do that was apparently more important. Despite him telling us he'd be here at 1 O'clock!!!!! Every time I spoke with the owner, he was rude, and sounded like he cared less about our business. So we finally called another roofer. Let's see how this one does!! (approx cost 475.00)

Saxon roofing did an excellent job on our replacement roof. Steve explained the process clearly upfront, and we were kept well informed of what was happening throughout. The team completed the work very efficiently, in two days, despite some weather delays. The cleanup was really well done the site supervisor, Bob, was great at making sure everything was done to our satisfaction at the end. Very happy with our new roof!

Went great. Steves guys were right on time , worked til sundown each night, and constantly cleaned up and made sure nothing was damaged. I could not be more pleased. Steve was very flexible and threw in a couple of "freebies" , did not try to "add on" extra overcharges which is a sign of integrity. My wife thought Bob his foreman was a gentleman. I would use steve Saxon again no problem at all.

Steve's team did my large roof in a little less than two days. He had 5 or 6 guys on the job and they worked very efficiently. He had a large container pulled up to the roof edge to receive all the debris, with zero trash or shingle waste left over. The cleanup was impressive, with very little shingle particles or nails found after this very dirty job was completed. The patio areas looked better than when the crew first arrived. There was some debris inside, which Steve was responsible enough to tell me about and show me the moment I was on the job site. The owner was present and supervised the job himself, though the crew had an assigned crew chief who was directly overseeing the workers. Lots of times work happens and you only see the owner at the sales pitch. Steve also handled the paper work for warranty and my insurance documentation for impact resistant materials discount very fast, within a day of finishing the job. My only issue was disconnected vent pipe at the hot water heater. I noticed it right away and it's easy to correct, but it should have been done by the crew to prevent CO leaks had I not noticed it.

Excellent. Very good job, very pleased with it. The crew was extremely friendly and low-key, no disruptions. Very pleasant crew.

Project went very well. Mr. Saxon provided very good upfront service and presentation. We opted for hand nailed (instead of auto hammer), so job took extra day or so. Crew worked late on last day to finish up. We have bunch of shrubs and plants all around the house perimeter. Had couple issues with damage as old tiles removed from roof. Not serious and when pointed out to Mr. Saxon immediate actions were taken to address with crew. Clean up was good. Supervision was good. Above rated quality is less than 'A' until we have few weeks/months experience. Overall, a more than satisfactory experience.
