All American Asphalt & Concrete

A simple concrete slab 16'x46' turned out to be a bowl. Mr. Connelly said he would fix it by cutting groves to drain the water. That didn't work. Connelly never would come back to look at it. They did not clean up around the area leaving chunks of concrete and debris. He DID NOT PAY the subcontractor. They sued me for the bill and legal cost because Connelly ignored them. He told me he would come by and take care of that but has not. He doesn't return calls. Don't use this guy.

Dan Connelly arrived on time and as agreed to give us a quote to install a 7000sq ft asphalt driveway at our property. From that point on, it was all downhill! Throughout the whole job he would constantly not turn up when he promised he would, would come for a day and then be absent for several days, refused to answer his phone, he was hardly ever contactable! Finally when he did turn up to do the laying of the asphalt, they spent all day but started to run out of light and because they were rushing to try and complete the driveway, the surfacing of the asphalt was left with ridges all over it. To make matters worse, by the time Dan realized that he had misjudged the amount of asphalt that would be required, the asphalt company was closed so they couldn't complete the work that day. Dan arrived the next day with only two workers who were inexperienced, only ordered half a truck of asphalt which was still not enough to complete the driveway and because the inexperienced workers didn't rake it properly and they were rushing the finish was not the same as the previous day so it looks like a totally different driveway on one side than the other. Promising to come back to complete the work, Dan left machinery on our neighbors property for weeks and after daily phone calls from myself and my husband, he finally came and moved it onto the road outside our home. He then left it there for so long that our HOA sent us a number of letters. Finally the police put a 'warning of removal' notice on the old machinery and Dan turned up on the day of removal and took the machinery away promising faithfully that he would return in 7 days to complete the work. He never did. Dan was paid in cash as agreed, all based on previous reviews that painted him in a light of trust. So disappointed, our trust in Dan, All American Asphalt (and Angie's List to an extent) has been irrevocably damaged.

He came by and looked at property. Claimed he would have a crew out next morning. Next day dropped the crew off and left. The crew did nothing. I payed him $1,000 (half of the payment)to get started, once the check cleared in him name he went ghost. He never answered any of my phone calls but when i called from my mothers phone, he claimed he went to traffic court. I wrote him an email and asked him to contact me to finish the job, still has not replied. CON ARTIST!

They did aterrible job, i was disappointed it was terrible.

All American Asphalt & Concrete did a nice job giving me a bid. I ended up going with another company but I would recommend them. They showed up when they said they would. They said they'd have a written quote back in a couple of days, which they did. It was exactly what he said it would be. I had no problem with it. If I needed their services in the future, I would call on them again.

We always use them for concrete and asphalt and we love them. Dan is the guy that does the work. He didn't charge us for the estimate. We have used him repeatedly. We like his honesty and his integrity. He delivers when he says he is going to deliver. He gives us advice on things we need to be concerned about in terms of maintenance. He is very friendly. We would always use the company.
