Trident H2O owner, Frank Garcia, is a dishonest person who scammed me out of $5000. Signed the contract to have my small pool demolished. It took him 3 days, but in actuality it was probably about 2 days. I had a bad feeling from the beginning as his equipment did not work and way too small for the job. He took off half a day to fix it and came back with a little more heavy duty manual jack hammer. Can’t break up concrete in a pool with a manual hand held jack hammer. I questioned many things he did during the work and he insured me all was all on the up and up. He should be on Broadway. Very nice young man and convincing. He drilled, maybe 10 1” holes at the bottom of the pool for drainage. This just didn’t seem right that water could really drain from this few number of holes and small diameter. He did not follow the contract. It was my fault for not re-reading it and holding him to it. The contract stated that perimeter of the coping and concrete would be removed at least 3 ft. below grade. He didn’t do this at all. He only removed the flagstone that framed the pool. He was way short on estimating the amount of dirt that was needed to fill the pool. He wasted an afternoon and a morning waiting for the dirt to be delivered. Well, and to top it all off, he took off and went on vacation the next week. I have been emailing and leaving messages on his business phone and also texts for 2 weeks now. There has been not one incident of communication. I am so very disappointed that there are people in our society that will be so very dishonest and do it so convincingly. He knew what he was doing and had no intention of doing it correctly. He just took the money and ran. I am currently in the process of pumping the water out of my backyard swamp as it rained for 3 days after he finished. It is beginning to smell really bad and is breeding thousands of mosquitoes. I am getting quotes to fix this mess and then am taking him to court to retrieve the cost of fixing this swamp.
