They did an excellent job. They ran into some problems with the fixtures because my house is old, but they solved the problem. I was happy with their work. We didn't have any complaints. They have a good reputation. They sent someone over to do measurements. I felt comfortable talking to them. Also they had a payment plan, so I could pay my bill over the year with no interest. I didn't expect the job to look that good. They came on time too.

In my opinion, this was just another example of Home Depot being Home Depot. With the exception of the guys who came and actually did the installation (who were excellent and I believe were subcontractors), everything else about my experience with them on this transaction was extremely poor. The folks in the store dropped the ball on pretty much everything from not being able to locate my measurements causing delays in processing my order, being extremely difficult to get in contact with (I had to make two extra trips to the store just to be able to speak with people), never being proactive on anything, failing to get my materials pulled timely and not properly ensuring that the correct materials were pulled. Additionally, there was a lack of any sort of ownership taken by the employees I dealt with and what seemed like a general disregard for basic customer service skills. I would probably use them again because the actual installation went off without a problem and that was the most important part. Also, it is good that there is a store you can go when problems arise and their pricing was pretty competitive. However, I would caution others who deal with them on this type of transaction to plan for things to go wrong and to really stay on top of the folks in the store. If there is anyway possible for them to drop the ball, in my experience, they will do it. Even if you don't think there is a way, they will probably find one.

It took them all day and all night. There were no tacks visible, however the carpeting on the steps could have been done better. It wasn't smooth and finished. Also we didn't know that we were supposed to dismount some hanging bookshelves and then remount them in advance. The workers were upset with this.

The cabinets we had previously never actually went with the rest of the kitchen. They were getting old and beat up. The new ones installed by Home Depot have a beautiful oak look to them. It brightens up the kitchen and makes everything look better. The job took only one day. The kitchen was clean when they left and everyone was nice.

I moved the furniture myself. It took them about three and a half hours to finish the job, which was amazingly quick. Six guys came out on time and started on the job right away. It was done earlier then I expected it to be done. It was an excellent quality of work done for the amount of time it took. They made the room look beautiful and made the floor more comfy under my feet.

I am not a happy person. I had the door installed about 6 months ago & it was done totally wrong. I have light shining through my door, & when I called Home Depot to come & fix it, it took a week for them to even call back. Eventually, they came out & fixed it. They patched it & taped it. I am very disappointed. I keep calling & getting no response. This company is not very reliable & I honestly do not expect them to fix the door at all.

WORKERS WERE PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, AND WORKED VERY FAST. THEY MOVED HEAVY FURNITURE WITHOUT CHARGING EXTRA.
