A.I.S. is a top tier contractor. I’ll start with that and continue to expound on how happy we are with the work that J.T and his entire team performed. The design work that my wife and J.T. orchestrated resulted in a bathroom that is truly spectacular. Working with J.T. is an absolute pleasure and totally hassle free. His network of contractors is top shelf. He is very detailed oriented and conscientious. He looks to save you money with every opportunity using his connections and contractor discounts to your advantage. There was never a day during the remodel that J.T. wasn’t engaged and actively working with us or the contractors. He was always following up and ensuring total satisfaction. His responses are timely and comprehensive. This was especially noteworthy since all of this work took place soon after Harvey and the availability of contractors were at a premium. This remodel was a total overall of the bathroom. J.T.’s work and contractor connections included plumbers, electricians, tile layers, granite installers and cabinet makers. We had previous experience with the faux painter, which we employed for this job and who J.T. was very impressed with. Everyone of these contractors were timely, precise, conscientious, respectful, neat and organized. We would highly recommend using J.T. and A.I.S. Stone and Marble to anyone of our friends and would encourage you to take the leap as well.

The entire process went as good as my kitchen looks now: Beautifully!! We received excellent service, and the work was done very quickly! All of the workers were very professional and kind.

This was the second big job we hired JT to do for us. This time we didn't bother going out to get other bids, as JT had done such a good job at a competitive price the first time around. Once again, he spent half a day helping us source the granite and sinks which all worked out perfectly. He went out of his way to find a supplier who had slate that matched out existing slate, and the flooring wasn't even in his contract. He got the countertops done on schedule without and difficulties. The finished product is stunning. He and his family even attended our house warming party!

We originally asked for a quote to seal the grout for a new tile floor in new construction. When someone will refuse money on the table because they don't think its worth it, I think that is an honest person. JT with AIS stone was great. I trusted his honestly and he was extremely knowledgeable about the stone products in our house. He did seal our granite which made it look great. And he thoroughly explained how to maintain our tile and countertops.

We thoroughly enjoyed working JT. He was very knowledgeable and the work was excellent. We had no issues and the work was performed on time. The installed granite in the bathrooms was better than the original installation.

All the work completed so far was very professional. JT's crew installed a granite sink along with new faucet, plumbing and followed up with sealing of the granite counter top. JT was very helpful in the selection of the granite counter tops and back splash by visiting 2 locations.

Working with JT was so easy and a breath of fresh air compared to some other people we have dealt with throughout our reno process. He called and updated us each step of the way. When we had a water leak, he had his plumber out there to help us get it fixed immediately, even though we had not previously discussed this. He and his team explained everything in detail, and when I threw them last minute changes, they made them with no hesitation. It was a joy to work with JT, and we 100% plan to use him on our future bathroom renovation. In the end, he did 250sf of tile flooring in a herringbone pattern, new countertop (1 slab worth), 25sf of backsplash, sink/faucet/dishwasher install, and other minor plumbing updates.

AIS was extremely timely and professional. I will be having them return for future work around the house. JT, the owner of AIS, provided a step by step detailed remodel of our kitchen including new cabinets, tile floors, countertops and electrical work. His services included walking us through selections which we found very helpful with our first remodel. He took us to multiple retailers to assist with the material selection process. After the selections were made, JT and his crew were onsite within 3 weeks and worked diligently and professionally for nearly 2 to 3 weeks to complete the job. JT called daily and sometimes multiple times to ensure I was informed of the work and satisfied. As issues or concerns arose, he addressed them immediately. As a customer that values attention to detail and customer service, I was not disappointed with the work performed by AIS. I received multiple bids for the scope of work. AIS provided a very competitive bid with far superior service in my opinion. Long story short, if you are looking for a remodel, small or big, you cant go wrong with AIS from a quality, service and price perspective. I highly recommend using AIS. One final note, 2 months after preforming the work Hurricane Harvey hit and i received a call from JT checking in on my status. In my opinion, this further illustrates the care he has for his customers.

Based on their angie's list reviews I contacted JT at AIS. Very quick response to questions asked. Price was very competitive. I visited their store location to discuss countertop installation and JT knew his products and answered all of our questions. The rough measuring appointment went well with the JT and his installer. They delivered on their promises when they installed the countertops. We are extremely pleased that there are still people/businesses out there that care about their customers and the work they perform. Do not hesitate to call JT for your project - you'll be glad you did. Very happy with entire experience with AIS.

I dealt with JT from AIS Stone and from start to finish it was hands down the best experience I have had with a contractor. Like most people, I obtained several quotes for the vanity top in the master bath I was remodeling myself. JT took the time to drive us around to look at all the materials at his wholesalers and educated us on the different materials and how it would look in our home, he didn't just try to sell us something he had leftover in inventory or a cheap substitute that most would do and have tried to do. The installers were punctual and made sure we were completely satisfied with our top before they left. It was such a great experience that we decided to use them again for the countertops in our kitchen. Again, JT helped us pick out the perfect quartz and even got us a more expensive, upgraded stone at no additional cost through his contacts and networking. To top it all off, we built a massive island in our kitchen and I was worried we would have a seam in the middle because it was too big for a solid piece. I talked with JT about it and he was able to work his magic and had a slab made large enough that it was one solid piece. My wife and I are very very happy, best product and service for the money in Houston. Thanks again JT.

JT and crew did an excellent job! Quality of the finishes were exactly what we expected. We started the project with the kitchen and after we saw the quality of work we extended it to the rest of the house. AIS replaced every old counter top surface in the house (total 10 slabs), 11 sinks, 19 different areas in the house. It was a big undertaking that was well coordinated between suppliers, and the trade people. JT crew lead by Rene, counter tops, Bondo, carpentry, Martin, plumbing were punctual, professional and willing to work around our schedule to complete the work. JT was always available and did a good job supervising the project. In the beginning of he project JT spent 2 weekends with us helping us select the material and then negotiated a good price with the material suppliers. During the project he offered advise based on his experience and at the end he made sure everything was completed as per our requirements. There were no hidden fees. It is easy working with JT and his team and I would highly recommend AIS for your stone counter top project!

JT of AIS Stone and Marble provided excellent and reasonably priced service. . He and his team were able to address each of the things we needed done, and all were done exceptionally well. Of all home service providers we've used for various projects, AIS was undoubtedly the best. Everything was done as originally agreed, and with the highest degree of professionalism and quality. JT was very thorough throughout the process; he even ended the work by sitting down with us to discuss maintenance of our granite, and also to address any questions we might have. We will recommend AIS to friends and neighbors because we are confident that JT will provide the same level of service to them.

Excellent. JT (owner) took the time and meet us at the granite yard, help us pick out the piece we wanted and explained the process. JT's crew was great and VERY Professional. Could not ask for a more professional and helpful crew. JT went above and beyond. Would diffidently use them again for any type of stone work that we need.

Having no knowledge of how to go about replacing our kitchen granite countertops, I began to research. I found AIS and am so glad I did! JT could not have been more helpful. He knew immediately upon entering our kitchen which granite would look best. But he took us to three different granite yards and spent several hours matching our taste to our existing finishes. I ended up choosing the same granite that he initially suggested! He's that good! I cannot recommend AIS highly enough. JT was always prompt in answering my questions and addressing my concerns. His crew was quick - the whole kitchen project was completed in two days. We also replaced our backsplash, faucet, garbage disposal, and sink. JT helped with those choices as well, and all were installed by his crew. I love my new kitchen and would not hesitate to recommend JT and AIS to anyone in need of granite.

We needed to gut my 35 year old master bathroom and were originally just looking for someone to do the marble on the vanity. After reading the many great reviews about AIS on Angie’s List, I gave them a call. Jaison promptly came over to give me an estimate on the marble work. I explained what I wanted and he gave me a price and start date on the spot. I had planned to have someone else to do the carpentry, tile, plumbing, electrical and painting. When I brought up that I was waiting to get a quote back from the other person, Jaison was ok with that and said that if it didn’t work out to let him know and he would give me names of the carpenter, electrician, plumber and painter that he uses. Well, the other person didn’t work out, so I called Jaison back. Within a few days, each of his recommendations contacted me and gave their estimates. In addition to the master bath, I added on work for the kitchen - new backsplash, floor tile. I can’t say enough about all of his recommendations. Not only was their pricing reasonable, their work was exceptional and despite the huge mess in two rooms, they were efficient and pleasant to have working in my home. Efran the electrician installed LED ceiling and undercabinet lighting in the kitchen and LED ceiling and sconce lighting in the bathroom. Baldo the carpenter reconfigured support beams and shifted duct work so that we could raise the shower ceiling 7 inches (husband architect approved) and flawlessly extended the height of my bathroom vanities for an extremely reasonable price. Miguel the painter textured over my DIY wall texturing, repaired dry wall lighting cuts, painted the kitchen and bathroom walls, cabinets, doors and trim. He even took on spray staining my old unsightly maple kitchen table and chairs to give it a new life. When our old hot water heater went out on a Saturday, a call to Jaison for help resulted in him finding Joe the plumber to install a new one and hot water was flowing by the end of the day - and again, at reasonable price. Jaison’s regular crew did the marble, tile and plumbing. Rene skillfully positioned the vanity marble to display the pattern we liked and efficiently cut the decorative pieces for trim and backsplash in the bathroom to use every square inch of our slab. Martin the plumber patiently plumbed the shower controls, grab bars and faucets, installed new toilets and even fixed some little things not in the contract. Pilo the tiler, installed the subway tile in herringbone pattern making some unbelievable cuts to keep the look flowing. With his installation expertise, we were able to eliminate the transition strips connecting the existing hardwoods with the new tile flooring between rooms for a safer ease of movement. Two years ago, we had another company remodel the upstairs bathroom. They insisted that the solid wood built on site bathroom cabinets were not worth the bother to extend the height and sold me all new cabinetry, or course at a price. For the vanity top, I was sent to a flashy showroom and given the option to choose marble slab A or B for the vanity. With AIS, Jaison met us at one stone yard and we began the search. After visiting two or three more yards, we made our selection. He is very knowledgeable about marble, stone and granite as well as a vast array of other products. Jaison is very patient and a good listener, he understands and respects your needs and concerns. It is clear that he enjoys his work and aims to please his customers. When I look for someone to do work in my home, my big question is always, “Can I work with this person should any problems occur?” With Jaison, the answer was a huge YES! Once our shower was gutted, the original builder construction presented several obstacles. Jaison was quick with a solution. My husband is an architect and as “Aging in Place” customers, we wanted to incorporate many Universal Design ideas. Jaison worked with us to accomplish our desired features. When I wanted to change something, he would say “no problem” with a smile. He offers suggestions to even little details like changing to nickel cabinet hinges for an inexpensive updated look. He stayed in contact with me on a daily basis making several visits as the work progressed. Normally, after a project is completed at my house, I am anxious to get rid of everyone. For the very first time, I can honestly say that I miss Jaison’s texts, calls and visits. While maintaining a professional relationship, I feel that he is also a friend. He is full of energy, humorous, a great listener and prompt communicator. My entire family enjoyed our conversations with him on a multitude of sujbects. There is no one other than Jaison and his crew at AIS that I would recommend for any kitchen or bath remodeling job. He is truly a gem!

JT was AMAZING! I truly cannot thank him enough for fixing my bathroom. He handled everything with such professionalism and knew just what to do to fix the mess. I got several quotes before deciding to go with JT and AIS, but once I met JT and got his quote, I knew he was my lifesaver. His tile and countertop work were flawless; he had recommendations on my materials that could save me money (as I had to rebuy almost all the materials from my first job done by the inexperienced), and he genuinely seemed to have my best interest at heart. I HIGHLY recommend AIS for any tile and stone job, but they can do much more. In hindsight, I should have called them immediately, and that's my recommendation for you. Save yourself time, save yourself money, and just call AIS. JT will be there right on time and give you a very fair and reasonable price. I trust him and his work completely, and I will definitely use him again!

Everything went better than you could ask. From the first call to the finishing polish it was only smooth sailing. JT was very friendly and helpful when deciding our design scheme. All of the labor was done promptly and professionally. I've already given AIS's phone number to multiple friends who were impressed with the work. Top notch!!

JT patiently and masterfully walked us through the entire remodeling process. His installer Rene is an absolute artist of installation and optimizing the patterns to give the upmost effect of the granite. The project was meticulously and efficiently handled with cleanliness and care. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and I will proudly recommend AIS Stone and Marble to our entire network of friends and family.

It took a while to choose the shower tile because the old tile is no longer made -- always a potential problem. Otherwise, it was a process that had a good ending.

JT came out and gave me a quote. We scheduled the job and thy completed both bathrooms in one week. They were very professional and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them. In fact I'm having them do my kitchen cabinets as well.

They are an A+++. They did my last house and this house for me. He just has wonderful eyes to look at what we have and getting stuff matched for it. He is just wonderful.

He does great work. The owner is very personal very nice. He has done my mothers home, my mother in laws home, my friends home. My mom has given him many referrals.

JT and his team are remarkable. And for the first time in 12 years I'm in love with my kitchen! JT walked with us through what I lovingly refer to as "The Granite Farm" (actually its a nice storefront with every grade of granite you can image) where he helped us to pick the perfect granite for our kitchen. The price was on point, they kept a tight schedule, started on time and finished on time. Granite, farm sink, and a beautiful back splash were all installed, as well as a new granite windowsill. It's been six months since they installed and I had to call JT to come out and repair a chip (I dropped a very heavy glass bottle on the edge of the counter and it broke a little piece of granite off). His team (Rene) was out the next day, the repair was made and you would never know there was a ever a chip. So very pleased with AIS and I cannot wait to start renovating our bathrooms.
