Unresponsive and unprofessional. Honeywell verified an item should be covered but this installer refuses to do what’s right

This is a updated review. After 4 tries to fix the problem they finally sent out some one else to evaluate and come up with a solution. They installed some new equipment I hope this solves the issue we where having.

Everything went great overall. Scheduled services on a Sunday and a tech was out the next day. I appreciated getting a text of who would be arriving along with a picture of them. The tech diagnosed the problem quickly and actually fixed some drain piping from the AC that a previous company had done prior to us owning our home free of charge. Only charged for the service call.

Excellent - would definitely recommend and use again. Recommended initially by my HOA.

I am 100% satisfied with their knowledge and service. I would recommend them to anyone. Price was the best, service was excellent and they didn't cut corners. Very Professional company and personnel. Shawn took his time to go into the attic and make suggestion to give us better and more efficient cooling and heating. They came out and checked units after installation to make sure everything is working like it should be. I have lived in this house for 10 years and this is the first time that the 3 front bedrooms and my office are always cool (West side of house). We had the house built and of course it was builder quality air conditioners and definitely builder quality install. Shawn corrected all of that. I recently had them out to check the fan noise on the condenser unit and they fixed it but it started it again so they will be replacing all necessary parts. They have the theory they'd rather fix it right the first time and be done with it. Great to know that especially when it's obviously under warranty.

My property management company recommends this company and I could not be more happy. I have had visits from Shawn and Shakir. Both are incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. They take time to diagnose and understand the problem. I love how this company's first answer is NOT "you need a new AC" but if that's the case, I trust them fully and know their pricing and responsiveness is second to non. They are very fair and I couldn't be happier with the service I received today.

I thought it was excellent. They came out and spent a couple of hours serving my HVAC needs and spent time explaining what they would do and how they would do it. They explained to me what changes they would make to the ventilation system to help the new system run more efficiently. I thought they did a good job and spent quality up front time analyzing the needs and the delivered on the need requirement.

There was no price. It was included in the original install.

It was adequate. They weren't as thorough as I would have liked. I have nothing specific to add.

Texas Ace is the most professional, trustworthy and competent air conditioning company I have ever used. They communicate, educate and follow through with their commitments. Their employees are courteous and, most important, they are competent. They are true experts.By far, they are the best.

He was good. I had filters and he put the filters in and everything. They did what they were suppose to. They came out and checked it and made sure everything was okay.

Ok,A little fast in the cleaning outside unit but ok.

They came out and did what they were supposed to do. He came on time and he inspected. He skipped one thing, but it was not major. He skipped a few things that were on that list that he was supposed to inspect. Besides that, it was just a normal inspection. He didn't have to do any more to it. He had to add no Freon and all that stuff. He could have added some Freon if I was low on Freon. That would have been great. They were very responsive.

There was no contact after deal was purchased. I think the new Angie's list makes it difficult for vendors to see when a deal is bought. I have had this problem with my last 4 deals that I bought.

Fine. Found a broken condensation line

Last summer I called Texas Ace when my air quit blowing cool air. I was put on the "emergency list" and they made it out that night and replaced the capacitor. I was satisfied with the service and work then, so 7/13/2016 Texas Ace came out for some summer AC maintenance. Shakir Fraser, the technician did a great job, was very nice and professional. He found a couple of small issues that he took care of and explained

I suppose okay. He spent some time checking everything. My only problem was he seemed to be more interested in selling me a service plan and getting me to replace a working air handler and even suggested replacing the whole unit--even though the air conditioner is working fine at this time. This always sends up red flags with me. I do wish Angie's list kept records longer than they do. i had another company come out last time and they were great (the same goes for an electrician I used a few years ago) Unfortunately, the records do not go back that far and so I have no way of getting in touch with them again. it is the one criticism i have of Angie's List.

Poorly. I left work early and waited several hours only to hear from them via email after a couple hours. NO ONE SHOWED up and then they claim they have the wrong phone number. More than anything, they don't seem to really care about missing the appointment - Marcie had no concern in her voice, there was NO apology that no one showed up. I won't use them again.

Typical checkup/inspection. Technician was very professional and courteous and even put new batteries in our thermostat. We plan on using them to install an additional return vent. Very happy with their service.

Serviceman indicated a leak in the system. Follow up to indicate that system needs to be replaced. Not ready for replacement yet. Still pricing alternatives. Waiting for filter information that first servicemen promised to provide. Was given Angie's list discount.

Right off the gate, stated we needed a new intake in the home that the unit is not performing well because of it. We have had annual inspections every year and no one has ever mentioned cutting a hole in the ceiling to add an intake, it just sounded expensive and so last resortish. He went upstairs and indicated I would need a new pan as the one there was rusting. I apparently needed filters changed, and only had one of the 2 needed, he did not change it while he was there. Usually in my annual check ups the techs have done that as part of the service. One thing I did notice, is when he tested the units he apparently had to bring them both down to 63 degrees. We left when he left, and 24 hours later when I came home the house felt like an igloo. I ran to the unit thinking oh my God the electric bill will kill me! As I suspected, both units ran all day and night to keep the house as 63 as he requested. I feel he should have made sure all was back like it was found. He was polite, and at some point I did mention I have American Home shield and he agreed to write up what he felt needed to be done so I could give them the list.

Jose found the problem fast, and had the part replaced and the air cooling. Very nice, showed up the part which malfunctioned, explained the reasons for the issue.

Sergio was very professional and explained Pros & Cons of solutions.

First off, great company! I was connected with Shawn who was amazing, he was prompt, direct and no hassle. We had an upcoming trip and wanted the work done before we left. To our surprise, they arranged it to happen the next day! The crane (units were on top of the building), the permits, all done immediately. Phil and the office are amazing too. We had some initial install problems, and they (call out to Jesus and Sergio, they were so professional) came out at least 3 times and have made all the adjustments needed. I would highly recommend the Texas Ace Team.

They were prompt, polite, professional. Cleaned up everything before the left. We would recommend them to do the work. The amount we paid is no ones business. I can say they were reasonable.
