Description of Work: Original appointment was in March they came out to fix my microwave and install heater and fan in bathroom. A day after they left I used the microwave and it stopped working. I called them back for second appointment, after trying to fix it for the second time I was told that there was not enough power & wiring had to be changed. I asked why was this not discovered in the first place and was told they didn't know but it will cost me an extra hundred plus dollars to have them fix it. I refused the additional charge because on the receipt they said they guarantee their work but obviously they did not honor that.

Upon investigating the service calls, it appears that the first electrician found a loose connection in the junction box in the attic on the circuit that powers your microwave. He corrected the issue, and the circuit was working at the time he departed the residence. As electricians, we have to diagnose, and troubleshoot items as they are presented. We try to not add unnecessary repairs if a simple repair can be sufficient. The second electrician's assessment was based on the fact that the first repair did not correct the issue. It was not that the issue was neglected on the first visit, rather the next step when the first repair was unsuccessful. We do our best to be honest, and provide excellent customer service to every customer on every call. Description of Work: They installed an electrical outlet in the bathroom. They nicked the wall and left my attic stair down. When I complained to the office, the person asked what I thought he should do about it, those things happen. | |But, when the outlet blew while I was vacuuming a couple of weeks later and knocked out my air conditioner with it, they fixed it without charging. They said that while they did not cause it, there was some kind of loop created. Since I am not an expert, I have to accept the explanation they gave. I do not use the outlet for anything like a hair dryer or vacuum cleaner to be safe. I still feel uneasy about it.

It is our company policy for our technicians to leave a property clean & in proper order after each service. We are however happy that we were able to help you with you GFCI outlet & vacuum issue the following month. GFCI outlets are designed to trip when they detect an unbalanced load (such as a vacuum) for safety at wet locations such as a bathroom or kitchen. Description of Work: The original job was to replace a spotlight fixture. They did that quickly and efficiently. With the time left in the hour of service that I purchased, they successfully found the source of a three way switch that had long ago fizzled out, and repaired that switch so that I can use the complete panel of lights in my kitchen. I was very satisfied with their work.

Description of Work: Ran power and hung two pendant lights. Everything is still working fine a few months later! They did a good job. Bought a two-hour deal for $111 but it took longer than that, so we ended up paying a little over $100 extra.
