They contacted me to set an appointment with a window from one pm to five pm. On the day of the appointment, they called to ask if the breaker box was inside or outside since it was raining. After learning that it was in the garage, I was told that dispatch would contact me when the service person was on his way. They never called and never showed. On the following Monday, I called to find out what happened since my husband and I had both spent the afternoon waiting for them. I was assured that they HAD called, but there was no evidence of a call on my call log nor was there a message left on my voice mail. After some time on hold and one disconnect later, I was told that dispatch had called but didn't note WHO called, when they called, or if they left a message. We rescheduled. The second time we did receive a call and the service person arrived within the estimated time. I feel that if the details are taken care of, I can trust bigger issues to any service provider. If the details fall through the cracks, I look for someone else.

The workers that performed my job were friendly and knowledgable. They replaced outlets as requested, They gave me a window of 1-4. They arrived at 4. It took about 3.5 hours to perform the job at a cost of $400. Work was good. Cost was average.

I was impressed! I first hired this company using an Angie's list offer for a spring HVAC checkup. I've had experiences with other firms whose reps complete the checkup, then "warn" me of impending doom if I don't replace a major unit "You sure don't want to have this quit on you in July!" So I was sort of expecting the same comments, given that it's the same system, only a year older. I was pleasantly surprised that service man gave the system a thumbs up and had no recommendations for spending more money. So then I described a chronic problem of not getting enough air flow into two rooms. The problem is with the way the ducts were set up. Speedy quoted $300 to fix the ductwork; I've had two other firms look at it. One didn't get back to me with a quote, but the service rep advised it would be north of $1000. Another firm quoted $600, as I recall. The next week, Speedy sent a different repair crew to actually do the work. I half-expected the new crew to discover an estimating error. Not so. They did the work as promised. And they noticed a couple of other small issues that they fixed at no additional charge. I like these people. I think they know what they're doing and they have integrity.

I contacted Speedy Electric for help in installing several light fixtures. The office staff was friendly and reponsive. On the day of the appointment, I received a phone call telling me the electrician was on his way. When he arrived, Skip, the electrician, was friendly and professional. With 22 years of experience he was well equipped to handle the job. He paid a great deal of attention to detail and was very tidy. All light fixtures were installed correctly and I was very pleased with the completed work. Skip also offered advice for the future electrical projects I have planned. I am happy to say I will be scheduling more work with Speedy Electric shortly.

I purchased their special, 2 hours of electrical work for $99. They contacted me a couple of days later and we scheduled a date and time for them to come over and do the work. Since I can handle wiring switches, outlets, and fixtures without a problem, I had the worker do what I hate to do: pull wire throughout the attic. He worked hard with me and pulled wire through the attic and down walls for about 3 hours (I had to pay for the extra hour)--doing work that would have taken me probably an entire day. After he left, I was able to finish wiring up all of the things that the wire was pulled for--the hard part was done!

I called for information about getting my outside outlets repaired. They gave me an appointment that same day. The repairman was prompt and a complete professional. He knew immediately what was needed to make the repair. He did not have the part needed, so he went to a local harware store and purchased part. He returned and completed the repair. He answered all my questions and I am super pleased. I would use this company again.

I would highly recommend Speedy Electric & A/C. They were very professional and polite. They let me know what they were doing every step of the way. They cleaned up after themselves, removed the trash and old equipment. Due to the size of the AC unit they had to remove a portion of my fence to get it in the back yard. They put the fence back and it is more stable than it was before. I'm looking forward to having reliable air conditioning this summer!

This was one of the "Big Deals" - $99.00 for two hours of electrical work. The person I spoke with on the phone was friendly and did a god job scheduling the appointment. The window of time for the electrician's arrival was 9am - noon. He arrived around 10:30 and easily understood what we needed him to do. He was competent and efficient. I did not think it would take the full two hours to replace two working light fixtures and install a new one and had hoped he would have time to repair a non-working light fixture, but he didn't. I was also surprised when he charged us an additional $55 for supplies. He didn't mention that possibilty before he finished. The work was not complicated and he did a good job. I recommend you get a full disclosure of costs before they start the work.

They are extremely professional and on time. The technicians are extremely knowledgeable so I enjoy working with their front office as well as the technicians. At one point, I had a problem that the first technician didn't diagnose correctly, not for any fault of his own, it was just a very difficult problem, but they took it upon themselves to send a different technician out so that he could view it. We found the answer, it got fixed and they didn't charge me for that. I love them. They will forever be the company that I work with.

Overall, the experience was good. Their technician was running late, but they did call to communicate that with me. Skip was able to finish everything I wanted him to within the two hours and he gave me for the options with the repairs, never pressuring me into the longer repairs.

From start to finish this was an easy transaction. Everyone was friendly from scheduling to electrician in the field.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. The appointment was kept up to date (changes by me, changes by them, etc.), and the service technician came ready to work. He did a great job on the chandelier in my dining room on a 20 foot ceiling, then moved to some switch changeouts, and installed a new light fixture in one of the bedrooms. I plan on using them again in the future. I feel lucky to have found such a great company to work with.

I took advantage of an Angie's 'Big Deal' to have the electrician install an outdoor light and repair a miswired ceiling fan light. The electrician, Chris, was on time and brought a helper with him. They installed my outdoor light and fixed the ceiling fan in no time. Then, they looked at a problem I was having with occasional blown breakers on one circuit and suggested solutions, which I took. F All in all, very professional, very explanatory and courteous. I'll use them again in a heartbeat!

The two technicians, Chris & Austin arrived early. The had to bring in a 20 ft. ladder for the vaulted ceiling light and they were very careful not to scar the walls. They worked steady and consistently and cleaned up.. I felt very comfortable with them.

It went great overall. I will be calling Speedy Electric & A/C in the near future to do more work at my house. I feel they are trustworthy & do an excellent job.

The condiitons for the install were tight. Speedy didn't have any problem and everything works great.
