Speedy Electric & AC

Purchased a test for leaks on HVAC unit. Technicians were very cordial. First call the technician check inside and outside unit for leaks. Did not find any leaks but felt it could be connector on outside unit which he replaced. Unit completely stopped and second technician came the next day. He used his detection equipment and said unit had tiny pin hole leaks. Options were to replace the unit or use a product that would seal the leaks. He chose the product to seal the leaks. Air conditioner has been working but we were told later that the sealant contaminates the system and cause replacement/flushing when unit is replaced longer turn.

They did a great job at a very reasonable price! I have purchased electrical services in the past from quite a few different companies -- Speedy did a better job at great price!

They checked the two central unit in my home to make sure everything was working fine. The upstairs unit need some freon which was costly so I passed on having them do it because I have a home warranty policy which I told them I would call and have them send someone to put the freon in. Othere that that they did a real good job.

I called Speedy primarily to replace cabinet lighting system. Many of the xenon lights in my cabinets burn out frequently and they are difficult to replace. I wondered if replacing them with LED would be a better system. Speedy was a no-show for the first appointment. I waited for 3.5 hours before they called. Brian came the second time, but didn't have a solution. He said he would have to research it are come back in two or three days. He took a fixture with him. I called after waiting two weeks, but did not hear back. I then called to ask for me fixture back. I asked Angie for a refund of the Big Deal. She refused since Speedy had "started the work". I then made another appointment. Another Speedy electrician came with the fixture and installed it, thinking that was all I had requested. I asked about replacing the system with LED, and he didn't know if that would help. Then he left. He and Brian were both very nice, but slow and did not solve my problem. They did not charge for the visits, other than the $99 I paid for the Big Deal. UPDATE: the repaired fixture worked for three days and failed again. I called and emailed three times. No response.

Happy with the work and the electrician stayed until the Job was completed....which was later than his normal working hours. He was scheduled for a day later in the week, but had an opening come up and called and came out early, which I thought was great. Would definitely use this company again.

Came on time, but tools were not charged, took too long to do work. Let the buyer beware and read the fine print of their big deal.

Went great. They tuned up my outside A/C unit for optimal summer performance. Very easy to schedule, showed up on time. Gave us a price quote for suggested repairs and a quote for a new unit.

They did good work and I am happy with the service.

Everything went well, Speedy Electric & AC came out to my home and performed a tuneup on two of my central air conditioner system. They checked the coils, freon level, checked for leaks. the thermostat and checked for leaks. The freon level was low in the upstairs unit and they gave me an estimate of what it would cost to fill it up. They told me that the unit appeared to have a slow leak some where which they could not detect. I declined their repair cost of the unit because I have a home warranty policy which I told them I would call to have them complete the repair. Overall Speedy Electric a nd AC did a very good job with the diagnostic. I would call them back in the future.

We purchased a big deal for the service, and it was fine. The service wasn't good at that time, but he came back and fixed it. I paid more than the big deal because I had them do more. When they returned to fix the problem, I guess the guy who had come over the first time had a bad attitude and was getting tired, so when the guy came back to fix it they did some additional service for no charge, and were courteous about everything.

We paid $99 for 2 hours of service. The installer did a very neat job. When he was done the wall looked like the outlets had been there the whole time. It cost us another $41 for parts.

Once we set the work date, they came out on time and within one hour had successfully completed all that I needed done.

I called Speedy Electric in the morning of what I believe was August 30th, and they had Ben there by mid-afternoon. That, in and of itself, is reason to offer a rave review; however, the service technician, Ben was efficient, professional, and friendly, and that just bumps the whole experience up a notch! I would not hesitate to recommend this company due to the extraordinary quality of service and professionalism.

The service worked out fine. They were very good. I was very happy, and I would use them again. In fact, I think I have used them again. It took less than the two hours that I had bought. The price was fine.

It didn't turn out well. I have a swiss cheese wall because the electrician did not put the box for the switch where I asked him to put it and he decided that he wanted to put it somewhere else without running that by me. I'm pretty displeased with their service and I'll be calling to let them know that I now to have to have a contractor come out and patch a very large hole on my wall. What I said when I asked why he put it here, "well because it would have taken a really long time for me to put it where you asked". He could have brought that up and we could have potentially found a different solution but regardless I don't care how much time it takes, I hired you to come out to do this job and I don't care how much time it takes. Overall, it was pretty crummy customer service. Technically he did what I asked and did it with quality products and all those certain things but now I got to deal with the swiss cheese wall. The way that they worded the Angie's List deal does not appropriately reflect when he came out. I ended up paying more than I expected. I would give them an F on punctuality. They called and said they'd be there in 30 minutes and two hours later they were there.

Very honest and helpful and demonstrated how to safely change electrical outlets.

I really did like this electric company so very much did everything I needed cleaned up after themselves really great to work with and I will have him back several times. Prices were very fair and very reasonable and he just is very personable I really like this company I recommend this company to anyone that needs electrical work done inside or out.

It was great. I got there a little later and they were there, but they were in the process of doing it and it was pretty straightforward. We didn't go over the amount of the big deal.

The actual visit for the big deal went fine but they did something to my AC so it wouldn't get and electricity. I was without ac for 3 days in Texas. Once notified of their mistake they came the next day to fix it.

I bought a $99 for two hours coupon from Angie's List, and I was happy with the electrician's work. He worked quickly, doing a few more tasks than I expected.
