They arrived when they said they would. They did the work in the time allotted. It seems all went well!

The job did not start off well in that Speedy arrived some two hours past the already wide appointment window of four hours. However, Mike and Cody were professional and worked very quickly. The additional $20 over the Angie Big Deal price was for material. I am very satisfied with the work performed and will definitely use Speedy again.

Mike and Austin did a great job. They were both professional and courteous and they made sure I was satisfied if everything they did. I purchased a two hour coupon from Angie's List. They zipped through the work I had for them quickly and I still had plenty of time left on my coupon, so they asked if I had any other electrical work that they could do for me. I am a female and I was perfectly comfortable with both of these guys in my house with me. Many women will understand how important that is. I will definitely recommend Speedy Electric to my friends.

The service purchased provided 2 hours of electrical work. The outlets came on before they came over and they did an inspection of the outlets I was having major problems with and found nothing wrong. About a week later the outlets in my 3 rooms went out again. I didn't notice right away but one day I went to turn a light on in the kitchen and the screw holding the plate was not screwed in all the way. So I checked a few other outlets and found the same thing. I sent a message to the company making them aware of what I found and also asked them exactly what did they do when they came over, did they check the attic for any electrical issues. I received no response from the company on either question. I would not use them again AND would not recommend them to anyone. i

Inspection was done on 11/11/2013. The technician said the gas heating system was operating properly. However, he recommended a repair to run a 4 inch flue pipe from horz. furnace into the existing pipe at the roof. On 11/15/2013 to repairmen arrived and went up into the attic to see exactly what part was needed. They left and returned about half an hour later with the 4 inch part and installed it in about 10 minutes.

Provider called within 24 hours to schedule appointment after I purchased the "Big Deal" on Angie's List. Arrived on time as scheduled, assessed what needed to be done, completed work within the timeframe purchased. They were professional, friendly and efficient.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went very well; he did a good job. He came across as very sincere and honest. He inspected the whole box and told me I did not have any immanent danger, which I appreciated. I think he is very reliable and he was on time. I have praise for the man. It did not take very long, but he did a good job.

It worked out fine. I had some issues with the people in the office with the scheduling. They had scheduled one, but they didn't put it out on their list or whatever. I was calling to ask where the service person is and they said they didn't have me on the list. But the actual person when they showed up was fine. He was here on time when they finally confirmed the time for the second appointment. He did show up at that point. They didn't really clean up all the way after they left. My issue was with the people in the office and not with the actual person doing the work. When I called they didn't say oh, there was a miss-communication or anything, they just said no, you didn't have an appointment. It could have been handled better. I wouldn't have rescheduled with them if I hadn't already paid for the services. I went ahead with it primarily because I bought that because I did need the service done and it just made my life simpler. I had some other things that I would have them do as well, but it made me hesitant and I just decided to keep it simple. So there was a missed opportunity for them.

Was given a call 30 min prior to arriving so that I didn't have to take the whole day off work. Two men arrived on time, and with appropriate ladders for this job. They removed a 4 ft track light fixture from the 17 foot tall entry ceiling and installed a new chandelier. They were very careful about measuring and re-measuring to make sure they got the light centered in the space. Everything went smoothly and they finished in one hour exactly. My only complaint would be that they didn't bring any fan/light boxes with them. So I had to let them use one that I was going to have them install for a fan in another room, and now I have to go up in the attic and install that one myself. Not a big deal, but it is something they should have brought with them since they knew in advance what the job was.

The two electricians who showed up were quick and professional. They did a magnificent job with what we wanted done and we were very impressed. We know we have more projects in our future and will definitely use Speedy Electric.

I have used them once before. They are great! There were no additional fees with the Big Deal. They showed me how to replace the filter which was very nice.

He arrived exactly on time, was polite and professional. He went to work immediately and completed the tasks quickly and expertly. He evaluated for another fixture, going into the attic, and determining that putting up a fixture would necessitate cutting into the air conditioning run. He advised me of the risks and benefits and the costs. I appreciated his honest assessment.

This was a $99 purchase for two hours of labor, which they provided as advertised. The additional $25 in the cost above was for a switch and switch plate and materials which they provided and that I did not have. They arrived on time, were very professional and efficient. Excellent job.

They were extremely professional and friendly. They not only disconnected the spa equipment but asked if I'd like them to haul the parts away and I was grateful to have them do so. They removed the electrical from the old deck and did not leave any mess for me to clean up. They also replaced a non-functioning GFI outlet outside our home that we appreciate having in working condition again. The work they did in the kitchen was wonderful and everything works great. I was going to have them change out numerous outlets in our house as they are not grounded outlets. It was explained to me that we have two-wire electrical in our house and they could not install the outlets since there is no grounding wire present. He explained my choices and I will be buying what I need to have them come back at a later date to complete the work.

The guys did a good job taking care of the electrical odds and ends that needed to be handled after living in the house for 20+ years. I don't mess with electricity, so they were repairing concerns I'd never touch. My only negative comment regards their punctuality. I was scheduled for a visit between 11:00 and 3:00, which was fine. At 11:45 I got a call from Speedy's office that the electricians would be arriving in 30-45 minutes. I stopped my work in anticipation of their arrival so I wouldn't have to stop in the middle of something. The guys finally showed up at 3:10, which meant I spent 3 hours "goofing around." I would have appreciated an update if they were running so late.

On time, efficient. did the work requested. I'd use again.

The guys who came out were super nice and did a really great job. The fixture is vintage, so I was concerned that they might have problems, but the were able to complete the work quickly and even sealed my attic back up the way that I had it, without me asking.

I am glad I called professionals because I thought the problem was in the fuse box and would have wasted time and money trying to fix it myself.

Fabulous! We could not have asked for a better experience. The company was very professional, demonstrated a high-level of customer service and knowledge. Recommend this company 100 percent!

Speedy Electric Work Done: 1/21/2014 The scheduling staff was so friendly and made adjustments to have me scheduled immediately. They really did a great job in notifying me when the crew was coming (at least 30minutes was told but I got 1 hour advance notification!) These folks are honest and will quote you the work upfront. No hidden costs.

We specifically selected Speedy Electric based on their positive reviews and the fact that they were offering a coupon for 2 hours of electrical work for $99 from Angie's List. So I called and made an appointment. The woman at the office was polite and asked what I would have them doing. She scheduled me a date which wasn't far from the day I was calling. The electricians arrived promptly and asked what they could do. We had an office light that had gone out due to bad wiring and they fixed that relatively quickly. From there I wanted their opinion on installing an outlet near a stove because I wan't sure it was against building codes and whatnot. He wasn't sure how long it'd take and said he didn't have the supplies for it. So with the the clock ticking, I took him outside and asked him what it would take to install an outlet outside as we have none in our backyard. Once again, not sure, and he didn't have the supplies to do that so they'd have to go get some on my time. They somewhat didn't seem interested. From there I started to wonder what I'd paid for. So I had them look at a flickering bulb in the bathroom. Something I had planned to look at, but figured they might as well handle while I found something else for them to do. I questioned them about something else and how much time I had left on the coupon. They said twelve minutes. I was surprised. Two hours the coupon said. Two hours for one guy or one hour for two, he said. Here's where I felt somewhat dissatisfied. I realize that the coupon specifically said this. But at no point when I made the appointment was I asked if I needed two people. None of the work seemed to require two men. The second guy for the most part stood around holding a ladder or a broom the whole time. Also, I had asked them how much the rate was for going over in time, they said $125. That's a savings of only $25, not the $99 the coupon states. So the two guys ended up leaving early. Overall, the experience wasn't awful, but it wasn't outstanding either. It was just average.

It was OK. He was good enough, but I didn't get the problem solved, because I guess it was out of his control. One of the things that needed to be replaced was a light under my fan. I think that he should have got the bulb for me and brought it back and put it in, but he didn't. He told me that that was something I had to do. He told me the bulb was dying and what was wrong, and that I would have to call a company to see if they still had a ballast. He took it apart and I was able to do some cleaning. I don't think he was bad, but he was not as good as another contractor I've had. He was here for about 30 minutes and I still have to replace the bulb. I don't know what the rules are. I thought that if they came and they needed a part, they would go and get it. If I had to pay extra, I would pay extra. He was just very casual and very slow. I was told that I had one person for two hours, or two people for one hour. I just thought he had to said I need a new bulb, go out and get it and charge me for the bulb, but he didn't. I am not terribly excited about him and I would not hire them again. I think he did was he was supposed to do. The job was tricky anyway, because he wasn't able to get to the switch, which was probably the problem that I had. So I can't complain about that. I am just saying that little things like the bulb, he should have done that. He was a nice enough guy. They were quick to respond. They sent him out earlier than I was expecting, but that was fine. It was greasy, so he took it apart and I cleaned it. So in a sense he was helpful. And he did tell me about the bulb. I think they were professional.
