Technician was very thorough: explained possibilities and future options -- because the problem really corrected itself before the visit. I really don't remember the cost; however, I'd say it was fair--and I was given a discount because of Angie's list. So, the actual amount was less than the approx. cost shown above.

$99 for 2 hours of electrical service or, in my case it was two guys who showed up to provide 1 hour of electrical service for $99, which was fine! They did everything I asked, and more than I thought they could in the allotted time. They fixed a wall light that hadn't worked since I bought the house, they replaced 2 electrical plugs, and wrote me estimates for the next job I want them to do -- install 3 new electrical plugs and a doorbell. He kept saying, "what else?" And I'd say... "That's $99 worth," and he would say, you've got us for another x minutes. I'm happy!

Bought a Big Deal coupon and had Speedy come out to install a GFCI receptacle in my bathroom, install what I thought was a burned out fan switch, and then troubleshot the ceiling fan when the new switch did not work.

Speedy Electric was good. They did their job better and efficiently. They did it right.

They were here when they said they would be, professional and courteous. Will use them again.

I had them come back out and fix something because I wasn't happy with how they rearranged the light, but they were very nice, I had them do some extra work.

When I spoke to the company about scheduling, I told them exactly what I needed to have done, and they said that it would take less than two hours. When they came today for the appointment, they said that it would take at least six hours to do the work, and they would have to reschedule. They also said that the additional time would be $150 per hour. I am getting a refund for the deals.

The electrician was very easy to work with. They did a good job with cleanup up. The scheduling was fine. They got the job done in the 2 hours that the deal covered.

They were punctual, friendly, professional and very helpful. They went above and beyond the terms of the agreement. They discovered part of the vent had come apart and could leak Carbon Monoxide into the house. They fixed the problem at no extra charge. Use them!

Really great service from Speedy Electric installing two surge protectors in my electric panels. In fact Kenneth and Jr went above the call of duty as I needed some parts from the local big box store to complete the work. Since I didn't want to buy the wrong part, Jr hopped in the car with me and ensured I purchased the correct item. That's a level of service you don't see every day. They did the work quickly and cleanly and allowed me to watch and ask questions. I likely could have installed the surge devices myself but it was worth the expense to have a professional step in. These guys were top notch! Great communication from the home office to let me know they were on the way. I look forward to using Speedy Electric in future.

It was very good. I wasn't actually there when they did it. They were very friendly, quick and they explain what they were doing. There's documentation on the inspection of the A/C units. I had 2 certificates but they can’t reconcile but it was fine. It was great and it was just a big deal.

After Austin and Cody installed 1 ceiling fan I decided to have 3 more fans replaced by Speedy Electric. Jason and Junior were assigned to our second appointment. They arrived on time and were just as professional and efficient as the first experience. In this Texas heat these 4 ceiling fans have been installed just in time for our 90 + degrees weather. Thank you, wonderful technicians and not to forget the office personnel, who helped make it happen so quickly with expert results.

I purchased a coupon on Angie's list for $75.00 to have a ceiling fan installed. Cody and Austin arrived as promised and were very efficient and professional. When Austin had to go into the attic he noticed that the light fixture in my wash closet wasn't working and a replacement fixture was just sitting on the shelf. The next thing I knew Cody had replaced the fixture while Austin was finishing the fan installation. That was very thoughtful and very much appreciated. These young men went above and beyond. Thank you.

I paid for the "deal" of $39 for a 20-point check up They were very friendly and professional. They discovered that my unit was out of refrigerant.due to a coil leak. It cost $83 to perform the leak test. They priced a new coil and refrigerant. I was not sure if my coil was still under warranty so I told them I'd let them know later if I wanted to proceed. I was satisfied with the work.

When they arrived they were quick and professional. I have no complaints about the quality of the services provided. The only problem(s) I had were that on the originally scheduled day they were running very late (a couple hours past scheduled time) and didn't alert me. When I called them I told them I had to reschedule. One the second attempt they were still very late (again by a couple hours), but I was able to just hang around longer until they arrived.

When I first called to schedule the girl who answered the phone was not very friendly and asked me to call back after I had purchased the Angies list coupon. I bought a coupon for $99 for 2 hours of electrical work. I bought the coupon and then called back to schedule. She told me she didn't have me in the system and asked me to call back again. I ended up scheudling something after some convincing on her part. I didn't think it was very good customer service to have me call back at her convienece. When they showed up to do the work, I thought it was for 2 hours of work and that would be plenty of time to hang up the two lights I wanted to hang up. It ended up that the deal was for 2 workers for 1 hour of work. They were only able to hang up one of the lights I orders. I will have to call another company to come out and do this for me because I will not use them again.

I bought a deal for Speedy Electrical service. In April I took a day off from work to be home for the appointment and they did not show up, claiming that I did not answer the phone 30 minutes prior to the appointment. The appointment was at 3:00pm and they called at 11:00am to send the tech at 11:30am. That was not the agreement at all. I called today to schedule service for next week, and they are just plain rude, I don't want to deal with them any more, so far, my experience has not been positive, there is no reason for me to even believe I will get satisfactory service when so far, all I have received from them is excuses and rude treatment. I am very disappointed of this company and trying to get my money back, they need to know that there are choices out there.

This is the second time I have used Speedy Electric. Once again, they were courteous and professional. The did their work quickly and efficiently. The only hiccup was that they were late. My scheduled time frame was from between 9 am to 1 pm, but I received a call at approximately 1:30 from the office telling me they would be late. They arrived at 2:10. I had no problem with the delay, but it would have been better if the office had called before the men were late. Minor problem, considering the success I have had with this company.

Guys were very prompt, actually arrived earlier than agreed time. Only complaint I had is they wanted to charge me from the time they arrived which was 45 minutes ahead of appt time. This mattered because no one was living at house yet. Otherwise the guys did a good job and got done all the requested work.
