I needed a fan installed in my bedroom. My daughter was home to be here for the appointment. When I got home I noticed a light was on that I did not leave on. I realized that he did some switching of the wiring for the switches. I did speak with the owner and he did explain some things, he offered to come out, but I decided to let it go.

That turned out great and we were very happy with them. They replaced under cabinet lighting. 2 electricians came out to do the service.

Speedy Electric installed 3 ceiling fans. They were very polite. The fans were installed in under an hour. I will definitely use them again.

The two electricians were very punctual with their arrival and very professional. They were constantly busy on projects going from one to another. Everett showed us the faulty fan light switch and we were very grateful he replaced it because it was hot in his hand and could have caused a fire. Jason explained what is involved in a fuse box replacement (which we are considering doing). They were "all business" as they progressed from one project to another. We didn't get all the things done but would definitely consider using Speedy Electric again.

They replaced the capacitor in the outside units, they sounded knowledge but in retrospect I felt the price was very high.

After I purchased the deal, I called them for scheduling. They were able to schedule an appointment that worked well for me. They are scheduled to come out today within a four hour window.

It was a good experience. It took them about 30 minutes to look at both units and they sent 2 techs. They recommended to keep an eye on one of my units, as a piece had gone weak.

The initial purpose was to have ceiling fan installed along with re-connecting outlets in island and fixing broken circuit breaker outlet. Unfortunately, I was not asked and did not think to tell them when placing the request for service that to install the ceiling fan they would need at the minimum a 16 foot ladder. When the servicemen arrived, they informed me they did not have the size ladder needed to install the ceiling fan. They provided me with the option of rescheduling or having them complete all the other requests. They also informed me that I would incur another service charge for installing the fan should they stay to fulfill part of the request. I was o.k. with them staying. Both servicemen were very professional and personable. They enjoyed their job and were very thorough. We would definitely use Speedy electric & A/C again.

Showed up on time and prepared and did the work. With the ceiling fixture the only way to do the job was to make two holes in the sheetrock. The holes were as small as possible. I subsequently patched the holes myself.

They were wonderful! A+! They installed a ceiling fan and four light switch timers. They also installed two light fixtures and everything looks great! The two technicians came out for about an hour. There were no issues with scheduling -- very easy. They called me right away and worked around my schedule.

Summary They're hiring good people, but I get the distinct impression that the company is lying to their customers to try to make a quick buck by not performing services they've agreed -- in writing -- to perform. I'm not interested in hiring a company that has shown on multiple occasions that it's just looking to cut corners to make a little extra cash to work on my home, so I won't be using this company ever again. It sounds like they're split between their A/C and electric departments. I've now dealt with both. A/C I purchased a coupon through Angie's List to have Speedy come out and do their "20-point air-conditioning tune-up." When I noticed a lot of things on the list on the coupon I purchased not being done, I presented him with the voucher and asked what it would take to finish all the things on the list. He said they had a list of things they check internally, but he was unfamiliar with the list I had been given. So apparently they're advertising services that they have no intention of having their techs carry out. The tech said he had looked at a lot of the items included in the tune-up and that they didn't need any additional work (which I can believe), but pointed out a couple in particular that could not possibly be included in the tune-up he was going to perform. Specifically: 1. "Flushing and treating condensate drain with anti-algae product." He said he doesn't even carry the materials necessary to perform this. He did offer, if I had any vinegar (we don't) to go do the work, but it seems they're not even equipped with the necessary materials to do the work they're claiming they'll do. 2. "Cleaning condensor coil and removing debris." The tech told me that would take "at least an hour" and that they're no way they would do that "for free" (though I already paid them something by buying the coupon). So the apparently have no intention of doing the work they agreed to in the Deal I purchased. The tech was very friendly and answered a few questions. It seems like he was willing to help out however he could, but there's a major discrepancy between the work they're told to perform on these tune-ups and the work they claim they'll perform in writing. (Minor complaint: they called me at 8:15 AM to tell me the tech was en route to the house, so I headed over there. They then called again at 10:00AM to tell me the tech was headed to the house. I said I was confused because I'd already been waiting there for them for over an hour by that point, and they explained the tech "had to make a stop." So It ended up being about 2 hours from when they first called me to tell me the tech was on his way to the time he actually arrived.) Electric I haven't hired their electric group to do any work, but they did come out to provide a free quote for an electric panel update in my older house. We first got a quote from a competing company (Caddell Electric) that did a very thorough inspection of the panels involved before providing a quote -- the other company opened up both electric panels and the meter box from the city to inspect the wiring and get a good view of what it would take to bring my house up to code. Speedy, on the other hand, lived up to their name. They came out, looked at the front of both boxes (didn't open either), claimed that the work in the existing boxes was probably up to code and fine (it's not) so they would just have to add on to it, and gave us a quote for about a third of the work that the other company gave us. So they were either planning to do a poor job and not actually bring the panels up to code, or would have gotten in there and then changed their price radically. Either way, I'm not interested in using this company for electric services and wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality repair job. In their defense, the tech was friendly and answered a few questions I had, but it seems like the company's not setup to do quality work.

I bought a coupon for what I thought was 2 hours of electrical work From Speedy Electric & A/C. I had my tenant schedule the trip to the condo to install 2 ceiling fans. They were on time and efficient. it took them about 2 hours as I expected. My only problem was that I thought the coupon was for 2 hours of electric work which should be appropriate for for the work requred. However what I received was 2 hours towards 4 hours of labor on a job that was 2 hours of work for 2 men. Speedy Electric & A/C required 2 electricians so that equaled 4 hours of labor and I had to pay twice as much as I expected. When I expressed my concern, the person at Speedy Electric said Angie's List required 2 electricians for safety for any job and if i had looked at the very tiny print on the coupon I would have seen it. i may have seen it but believed it was for 2 hours of electrical work whether it took 1 or 10 electricians. So in the future I will be more hesitant to purchase an Angie's List Coupon and less likely to use Speedy Electric & A/C. They should not be ambiguous in their coupons.

Profession work. Very helpful. No hassle service

Scheduling was difficult, but once they got on site everything was pretty quick. Originally a four hour arrival window, which was supposed to be preceded by a call 45 minutes before arrival. Didn't get confirmation until about the end that the technician was actually coming, and then was warned they might not make it. Luckily they did. No issues with the folks who came but I'd be cautious about using them again if, like this time, I was under time pressure.

My experience was fine. Scheduling an appointment was easy. There were two technicians here doing the work and they got the work done in about 30 minutes. They showed up on time for the appointment as well.

No actually work was done - just an inspection and testing. I am using Speedy for another project in the garage.

Mike was very professional, friendly, and helpful. I appreciated the fact that he explained how he discovered the problem so that if this occurred in the future, I could find the problem myself without waiting for a repairman to arrive since it created a dangerous and, possibly, a life-threatening situation. I wouldn't hesitate to call Speedy Electric again, and, of course, see if Mike was available.

Appointment was scheduled for between 2 and 6 PM did not arrive until after seven PM. Two technicians arrived And each did one project. I did have them come back on the following Monday because the fan in the bedroom was making a noise they corrected the problem.

This was for 2 hours of service, one guy who had the knowledge and a guy that ran for him.would not use them again

it went great. the two serviceman were very professional and informative. They completed the job in less than an hour. would definitely use and recommend their service .

I got this deal to have a Nest thermostat installed. They said they do not do Thermostat's - therefore they could do the job. Disappointed as this is a very basic Electrical job - I will do myself in 30 minutes.

We bought an Angie's List Deal for this service -- 2 hours for $99 or 2 men for 1 hour. We had 2 men come to our house to work on our electrical needs. Jerry and Everett came out. Jerry replaced the electrical sockets in the kitchen, and had to add extra wire to one to make it correct. However, he did not put the face plates on the sockets, so when I went to do it after he left, I found that the socket was too deep in the whole for the face place to screw in. This was the case for all the sockets done in the kitchen. Luckily, my handy brother came in to town that night and knew what we needed to make them correct. He showed my husband how to put spacers behind the socket so the faceplate can fit correctly. Jerry did put faceplates on some outlets... but I had to go back and fix them because they were very crooked or not quite screwed in all the way. It also makes me wonder why some got the faceplate, but the tricky ones didn't. Everett did a great job replacing our old light fixture for the new one. I couldn't be happier about how it looks. He finished that and replaced all the light switches in our dining room, living room, and hallway along with 2 dimmers and some electrical sockets. He did a great job and was very professional and kind the entire time. Overall, I don't think I will be hiring Speedy Electric again, unless I ask specifically for Everett. It was disappointing that we had to go back and fix what we paid them to do.

It ended up great. This was the second time that I used them. They sent 2 people out to do the job. The scheduling was fine and they got to me quickly from the day I called. They cleaned up behind themselves as well.
