Nice enough guys, showed up on time and did the work just fine. Problem is I bought this through an Angie's List Big Deal - paid $99 for two hours of electrical labor. Instead they just sent two guys for one hour, one of which actually did work while the other just stood there and watched him. I don't see how that is the same as two hours of labor. I won't be buying any more Angie's List "Big Deals" from these guys.

Very good service. He was kind and polite and quick with his work.

Everett was very professional. He changed the plug, tested it, removed all debris and left.

I have a light switch that controls 3 recessed lights and when we redecorated, the new switch never worked. We have had two other electricians out to fix it and neither could get it to work. These two very nice men from Speedy Electric came in, checked it out and knew right away what was wrong - fixed it. Was not trial and error to fix it - they knew what was wrong and how to fix it. I am very happy with Speedy Electric and recommend them to anyone needing an electrician. Their names were Everett and Junior. Very nice men.

It turned out well. They sent 2 people out to do the job. They were able to get the job done in the amount of time that the deal covered. The scheduling worked out well and they cleaned everything up.

While Jerry had a bit of a problem finding location (most venders do), the good folks at the office were in constant touch with both me and him. AND THAT'S important - the communication and responsiveness of this company was great. Jerry realized I didn't have all parts needed for dining fixture, well he had 'em. And while I had 2 hours of electrical service, he was done in 1 hour 10 minutes. I was perfectly happy with that. I got done what I wanted done. Great job all 'round, Speedy is my new 'go to' electrical provider.

Mike and Ryan arrived on time, did a very professional job for the two things on my list. They were polite, cleaned up their mess and I will definitely use Speedy in the future.

Everett and Junior arrived well within the 2:00 to 6:00 pm timeframe and were ready to get right to work. We discussed the different projects I would like to have done and the best way to proceed for each. I received estimates for adding new exterior garage lights outside (where none had existed) as well as converting a gas yard light to electric. Exterior garage lights: $325.00 Converting gas lamp to electric: $450.00 (based on my lamp location to the house, etc.) They also suggested that I call another company for a 2nd estimate so I felt comfortable. Junior also installed a new electrical outlet in the garage and checked the electrical panel to make sure it was in good condition. He found a few loose wires and made sure all were tightened down before he put it all back together. Everett spent his time troubleshooting an outlet in the kitchen island that stopped working years ago. He pulled out every outlet in the kitchen to see if the outlet in the island was tied to one of them. He was not able to find out where the island outlet power was coming from and believes that it was put in by the builder prior to the concrete floor being poured. He suspects that it will lead up into the attic. Both Everett and Junior were ready to go into the attic but I had not moved some items in the garage to give them access to the attic. I will call them back when the weather cools down and have all the work that needs to be done in the attic taken care of at that time. I will be calling back soon to have the gas yard lamp converted to electric in the next week or so and will be asking for Everett and Junior. They are great! They explained what they were doing and why. They gave me great advice: Do not plug the refrigerator in the garage into a GFCI outlet. They both are very personable and friendly and made me feel confident that whatever work they do for me will be done right. I am very happy with the service I received from Everett and Junior today and I feel confident that I have a Company I will be using exclusively now.

It went well. It was a great experience. They put in an exterior outlet off of an interior outlet. Scheduling was easy and they were available a few days after the big deal purchase. I had to pay an additional fee for materials but I knew this up front.

The service turned out fine. We'll see how it goes in the future with the rest of it. I purchased it and we scheduled a time for them to come out and then they called me and told me they couldn't make it and had to reschedule. They rescheduled like 2 times before they came out. One was a good excuse, the other one didn't seem like a very good excuse.

Quickly found out why my front yard outlet didn't work. It was because my back patio outlet ground fault was tripped. I would never have figured out that the front porch and the back patio was on the same circuit. Since I had paid for a certain amount of time and he found the problem so fast, he asked if there was something else he could help with. I told him my back security light that should come on dusk til dawn stopped working. He found that the light sensor wasn't working. He didn't have an exact replacement with him so he agreed to wait until I went to Lowes to buy one. Lowes was out of them too. Lo and behold the next day he showed up again and replaced the sensor for free. Now that is service!

The tech installed the fan and was really thorough and quick, I couldn't believe how fast. I'm very satisfied.

The service went fine. I had them install light fixtures. Two technicians came out for the job and completed the job in 1 hour. They were friendly, efficient and left no mess after the job. I had no problems contacting the company or scheduling the service.

I paid Angie's $99.00 plus Speedy's $100.00. I have never had fans on my patio ceiling so they had to make a place for them plus materials. I feel like Angie's misrepresented themselves by quoting $99.00 for everything. So in October just cancel my membership.

I purchased an Angie's List deal. Two technicians came out and removed two light fixtures and installed new light fixtures for me. They were prompt and very courteous and finished the job quickly. I was very happy with the deal.

The electricians arrived were friendly, respectful and very punctual. They changed 2 old existing fans one from a bedroom and one from the patio. They were well installed and they were clean and even carried out the old fans and fan boxes to the garbage area of my home. Nothing to clean up at all. They installed my remotes on the wall for the fans that was a very nice and efficient touch. Super fast at the installation. Well done!

Very good - They did everything they said they would. They called me about 45" before arrival to make sure I would be available; they went straight to work, got the job done, cleaned up and were gone in less than an hour. Since I still work & had to take off to be home for the installation, that was greatly appreciated. The work seems to be excellent and they were very polite.

The electricians arrived on time and were able to complete the job quickly. I wasn't sure how much it would cost, as I've never had work like this done before, but I think it was very reasonable. The only hiccup was during payment, as the order was set up as COD even though I had mentioned when I called that I had purchased a coupon from Angie's List. The contractors had to call their office to get clearance to accept the coupon, but ultimately it worked out. I would definitely use this company again if I was in need of an electrician.

I purchased an Angie's DEAL for $99 for 2 hours of electrical work. The 2 hours could be 1 electrician for 2 hours or 2 electricians for 1 hour. I contacted Speedy on July 10th to arrange for a July 31st appointment. I was told that my call would have to be returned by the person taking care of the angieslist Deals. I didn't get that call back. The following week I contacted Speedy and scheduled the service call. The day before the service was to be performed I contacted Speedy to confirm the appointment. At that time, I asked about specifics of under cabinet lighting. I was referred to Brian, the owner, who did return my call very quickly. We decided it would be best to let the electricians 'eye-ball' the cabinet/lighting issue when they were at my house. Brian asked if I had the items needed for the jobs I wanted done or should they bring them. I said I needed to purchase the GFCIs but otherwise I did. We decided that Speedy would bring the three [3] GFCIs with them the following day.. All was good up to that point. No price was discussed. Two electricians arrived as scheduled. I showed them the fan and the 3 outlets to be replaced. At that point, one of the electricians realized that he had not read his paperwork and had to leave to buy the GFCIs. He was gone for 20-25 minutes. The lone electrician could only complete the jobs up to a point but then either needed help to install the new fan or was waiting for the GFCIs. He did remove the old fan and the old outlets while he was alone. The GFCIs arrived and the job was finished within the hour. I was then presented with a bill charging each GFCI @ approximately $70 each, plus some labor for installation. I refused to pay that and reminded them that: 1) I actually did not have 2 electricians for 1 hour, since one was gone for 20-25 minutes; and 2)Brian should have informed me that the outlets that I was going to purchase myself for $40. for all 3, would cost roughly $210. The electrician went back to his truck to call Brian. It was decided that only $75 would be charged for the 3 GFCIs. I agreed to pay the additional $75. I could have had the electricians do one other job I had on my list, but even before the overcharge debacle, I had decided I didn't want these electricians in my house any more. If possible, I will attach a photo of the outlets purchased, on my time, by the Speedy Electric &AC electrician at Home Depot .

I'm trying to find out what the approx. amount of the "extra fee" is for installation of a fan on a 15 foot ceiling. I called the office and a young lady could not answer that; she said she'd never seen an extra fee on a bill. Nor could she refer me to anyone that could answer that question. I'd like to use the "Install two fans for $99" deal, but not if the extra fee is excessive. Thanks to either Speedy or anyone else that can answer this.

They showed up a little bit late but were very friendly once they got here. They did a good job installing the circuits and outlets. It did go about a half hour longer then the 1 hour included so they charged me a additional $75.00 which was ok. I paid them with my credit card and they wrote the card number, expiration date, and CVV code from the back of the card on the invoice which I was less then thrilled about. Later that day I got a call from my credit card company to verify some charges and they weren't mine. Note this card was only used with this company in the past month. I called the company back and they didn't care to hear about the issue they just wanted there money and were very unprofessional about it. I ended up mailing them a certified check to pay for it because I didn't want them to have any of my account numbers. Based on the service I received after the fact I will no longer use this company and would not recommend them to anyone else.
