It turned out pretty good. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. The service was pretty good.

I have had good luck with Speedy Electric in the Past and would definitely rehire in the future. The workers called ahead, arrived on time, got right to work, finished quickly, cleaned up, made sure I was happy and left. What's more to say?

We've had ongoing problems with overhead fluorescent lighting in our kitchen, despite the work of a previous electrician. Speedy AC came out and fixed the lights - apparently there was a problem with the ballast. So far lighting is working very well!

They arrived on time with a 2 man crew. They installed the new porch light fixture I had purchased at Home Depot and then replaced a gfi outlet in the kitchen that wasn't working. They did a good job and I was satisfied with their work.

Went well. They arrive at the approximate time, I provided the outlet and they checked them and replaced the one that need to be replaced. They also replaced any gfi outlets that needed to be replaced

They had to replace an old electrical stub that was almost falling down, brought it to code and made everything work properly.,

Two people arrived right on-time and provided a heads-up call, 20-30 minutes in advance. The work was carefully and thoughtfully, and they weren't bothered by my questions or observing their work. I especially appreciated their willingness to provide ideas and opinions about other lighting changes we are considering.

Technicians were very professional and explained the work they did. Also gave estimate on future work to be done. Very satisfied with the work done.

They set up the appointment quickly and were on time. What was not clear to me on the offer was that it is for two people working an hour each simultaneously. One person seemed to know what he was doing but the other seemed less skilled. They did finish within the hour time frame. I felt the work could have been completed in less time for skilled electricians.

Keep in mind that any deals including X hours of service are actually half that, because you'll be charged full price for an apprentice accompanying the electrician. (That should really be listed bold face in their coupon sales.)

It was really good. They were prompt and they were able to install the lamps quickly. They were knowledgeable, gave an accurate time of when they would be there, and they didn’t try to drag out the time of service. I have already recommended them to friends and family and I plan on using them again.

They were very professional. There was a problem and I could not get away from work but they were flexible about it. I had a delay but they worked me with on that. The person that came was very knowledgeable and nice. I paid 179$ extra.

This company was sent out by One Guard Home warranty to replace a natural gas furnace. The furnace was installed improper and placed my family in danger and has since been red tagged by the City of Grand Prairie. I can produce an inspection report from the State of Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations on all of the code violations to show the validity of the violations, which were documented by an inspector who traveled from Austin to do a on site inspection. The company attempted to come out and make repairs before the inspector did there inspection but I was advised if it was to be up to code it would cost me more money. I have chosen not to let the company back into my house since being told that this installation is one of the worst seen and could have jeopardize my family lives. We hold other professionals to a standard within there trades (Doctors, Lawyers, Fireman, Policeman Etc.) and this is no different other than it would not have been noticed until a fire could have occurred or even worse the heater exchange cracks due to excessive heat and colorless and odorless gas sickens or kills an entire family.

It was good. We thought we had an electrical problem in our house, and they found/solved the problem. They were very nice.

It went great. They lived up to their name. They were speedy! They did the job quickly and correctly.

Speedy came out and the first person could not fix the issue. They sent someone else who fixed it and there was no hassle or additional cost. I will definitely use them again.

Placed order and paid for it through AngiesLis-listed my phone number when I ordered. Instead of calling they sent a message back telling me to call them to schedule it. It took a couple of days before I saw the message, called them to schedule (that was a little inconvenient). Electrician (Austin) came out and spent 2 hours at my home. My main need was to install a light fixture to the bottom of my ceiling fan, which I had already attempted but failed. He couldn't figure out how to do it either, which surprised me as an electrician, and instead recommended I buy a new ceiling fan with a light fixture already installed. My 2nd need was to replace a breaker that sparks when I try to turn it to On. He didn't have a breaker that fit it, so I drove to store to get one; he called me as I arrived at store and said that he discovered that the breaker didn't need to be replaced - that was good, as it saved me $10 on the breaker. He then fixed the overhead light that needed to be on a switch, as it was hardwired and couldn't be turned off. He didn't have the wire to do so, and had to take a trip to store to get the necessary wire. He successfully completed that task. Austin was a nice guy and acted professionally. But I was somewhat surprised that an electrician couldn't figure out how to install the ceiling fan light - I'll cut him some slack though, because I couldn't figure it out either (but I'm not an electrician). And a little surprised that they don't carry wire in their truck. But nevertheless, $99 for 2 hours was a good price - just wished they had been able to get my primary need met. One special note about Austin - I loaned him a headlamp to see better, and I forgot to ask for it back before he and I left my home. But I returned later to find that he put it in my mailbox - grateful that he came back and returned it.

The service was good. The outlet and the cable didn't come with it. We spent about another $45 for the equipment they needed to provide.

They were excellent. There were additional fees to replace the plugs.

I scheduled an appointment with Speedy for 10:00 a.m. on a Tuesday morning. I was called at 7:45 a.m. and asked if they could come out to do the work in the next 30 minutes. At the time I was in a nearby town and didn't know if I could get back in time so I told the lady on the phone that I couldn't make it. In a not so very friendly customer service voice I was told that she didn't know when they could come out if not now. I told her I had scheduled a 10:00 a.m. appointment. She said I know but will let you know when we can make it. She called back in about 5 minutes and told me it would be after 2:00 p.m. I said that wouldn't work, just send the electrician on out early. I hurried back to my house and got there just ahead of the electrician. To do the job the electrician gave me a quote of $314. I then asked about the senior discount for Angies members. The electrician knew nothing of it and called the office. After much discussion with the office I was given a $15 discount; a far cry from the 20% advertised on their site on Angies list. Michael was the electrician and did a very good job. When finished he came in to give me the final bill and I was told he forgot to add in the service call amount of $69; so my bill went from $298 with the small discount to $363. Instead of a $70+ discount I received $15 or less. In reference to the response by Speedy they stated that their site had a 20% COUPON for seniors that had to be printed; otherwise a 15% discount is given to seniors. First there was and is currently no printable coupon for a senior discount. Their site states seniors will be given a 20% discount. I argued with the installer and he called the office but I got neitner a 20 nor 15% discount. It was less than a 5% discount. You would think after reading this review Speedy would rectify the situation; Not!!

The service went as expected. They were really friendly, they showed up on time, they did the work within the cost of the deal so there was no extra cost. They were very competent. I was happy and satisfied with what they did.
