Description of Work: They replaced 2 light fixtures. Removing 1 ceiling fan. connected lights in bathroom that had not worked since I have lived in this house. They were polite, respectful, knowledgeable and quite efficient.

Description of Work: Fixed some wiring issues in our attack and replaced a light switch in bathroom. It went great. Price on light switch was pretty steep, but hey did not have on on hand. Really like the young man who showed up at our door.

Description of Work: Provider sent one experienced electrician and one trainee. I was told by Angies list and Speedy Electric that one Electrician would work on one issue and one on the other. The experienced electrician had to help the trainee and subsequently it took a lot longer than an hour. They pressured me to pay them another $250. When I refused they threatened to take me to small claims court! I was very dissatisfied. I will never use them again!

Thank you for posting your thoughts and feelings. It is true that we sent one more experienced electrician with an apprentice helper. This is very common in our trade. The issue that was being addressed required tracing a circuit to locate the problem, and subsequently replacing a breaker and running a new circuit. This is not a one man job. We also replaced an outlet in the bathroom and replaced a florescent fixture in the kitchen. To complete all of these tasks, that were approved by the homeowner, the allotted time was exceeded by an hour and 15 minutes. The homeowner was only charged for materials and for half of the labor charge routinely charged. At no time did we ask for $250 for extra time. The homeowner approved the work to be completed, and then refused to pay. What was originally scheduled for two labor hours, became more than 4, and the price paid was more than generous. Description of Work: An electrician and apprentice came out to work on my electric in an older home. I knew I had some issues but the electrician seem to know everything that was needed to repair and install what I wanted. They truly were speedy because even after I decided on having them for an extra hour they were still attempting to get everything done within the allotted time. They provided excellent service and I would definitely and probably need to hire them again soon.

Description of Work: Provider showed up and had a list of items I wanted to get done. 2 "electricians" came. 1 pretty much stood around while the other did some things. Didn't get very much done at all. Wanted them to install an outlet - they didn't even have a basic receptacle on the truck and said it would take them a while to get the part from home depot and i'd have to pay for that. I was unimpressed with their throughput, quality, and that they didn't have any parts to fix anything. Only got 1 light fixed and they didn't even have the tools for that - wanted a metal toothpick or paperclip from me.
