"This guy named Chad came out to my home a couple of months ago to replace a kitchen garbage disposal, kitchen sink, and the fixtures with new ones that I purchased. I chose him because he had some good reviews on another site. He seemed to be very nervous when he first came, but I figured it was because this was his first time coming to my home. He arrived around 10:30am. Being that I'm not comfortable with inviting people in my home, I stuck around to watch him. I asked him how long he had been doing this type of work and he made claims that he was certified and he had been doing it up north for about 5 years. The kitchen sink was a basic sink, and I replaced it with a newer upgraded one(Still pretty basic, but a little nicer). Due to my old garbage disposal, leaking it completely messed up the floor underneath my kitchen cabinet. So he measured that area and went to HD to get new board for the bottom of the kitchen cabinet. He wanted to put some type of plastic material underneath, but I wanted wood. So after he made it back, he begin to work. The first thing that he tackled was the wood floor, which I appreciated. That seemed to go pretty good. Then he switched out the kitchen sink, disposal and fixtures. I noticed that he was struggling with the fixtures and disposal because after all the new fixtures were installed I notice that water was leaking from the hot/cold faucets and spout. I also noticed water on the new board that was installed. After looking in the box and noticing some rings/ gaskets laying in plastic; he say" Maybe these go on the faucets. I thought that these were just extras that they put in the box". That's where I started to panic a little, because anyone would know that if these pieces are in the box; more than likely they were due to be installed on the new fixtures during installation. It seemed as though he fixed whatever was leaking from the disposal or so I thought, but the spout was still leaking(he couldn't seem to make it stop). After I made a call to MOEN to see if there was any defects with the spout he decided to untighten the base and notice that he left some plastic on the base that was supposed to have been removed before installing. The job ended up taking 5 hours to complete. So after I reimbursed him for the board and paid him he left. For extra protection, I bought a waterproof mat to put underneath the sink. I am so glad that I did because a couple of weeks ago I notice some water on the mat. After cleaning it up I decided to buy a bucket underneath and called this guy to come back out to fix the leak coming from the disposal. I have left at least 5 voicemails as well as sent text messages and I have a bucket underneath my sink that is half full with water. Thank goodness, I had enough common sense to put a bucket underneath because the floor would've been ruined. Unfortunately Chad is not returning any of my calls and texts...so I wanted to warn others that he is an absolute crook. He is extremely unexperienced and unprofessional. It makes me wonder if the reviews that I found were even real. He probably had his wife and himself to pose as different people to come off as a reputable person to do business with. I will be reporting him to the bbb, and I will be posting on other sites. Please stay away if you don't want a botched project!!!"

Weekly Pool Cleaning and repairs, Inpections Filters must be completely disassembled and cleaned periodically. This is essential to keeping your pool clean, chemicals in proper balance,
"I struggled with this service for nearly a year before they proved themselves incompetent. They shocked my salt pool weekly throughout last Summer which concerned me. Why was this necessary if my salt cell was working properly? I asked them this question several times and they explained it away. They even just refused to check the cell when I asked. I know, I should have fired them then. During this year's Spring filter cleaning their tech tried to lift the manifold and grid out of the tank without draining the tank. Even I know this is a stupid idea. Well the stand pipe was broken along with part of the grid. Did they own up to it? No. Instead they claim they broke from use and sent me a $375 repair estimate. Fortunately, I have a home warranty and made a claim. The warranty company sent out their own tech who confirmed my suspicions that the Staycations tech caused the damage. After firing Staycations, my new pool tech inspected the system and (low & behold!) the salt cell was not working and there was no salt in the pool! So for nearly a year Staycation's tech has been lying to me about checking the system, adding salt and who knows what else. This is why it was necessary to shock my pool every week. He basically converted my salt pool into a chlorine pool without my knowledge or consent."

You should have your spa or hot tub inspected and serviced yearly to prevent more costly repairs. Regular hot tub maintenance can save money and help keep you safe from hazards such as faulty wiring. Call a professional hot tub repair specialist, who will know what common issues to look for and have the parts and tools on hand to fix them immediately.
The cost to repair a hot tub or spa ranges from about $170 to $550, depending on the repairs needed. Some of the most common hot tub repairs include leaks, clogged filters, and tripped GFCI breakers. If it’s an electrical problem, you should contact a professional hot tub repair service. Don’t DIY electrical repairs on a hot tub, as poorly repaired wiring can make the hot tub a serious electrocution hazard.
Pool repair costs vary depending on the type of pool. Repairing an inground pool ranges from $350 to $2,700, depending on the extent of the repairs needed. Repairs to an above-ground pool usually cost $100 to $700. The most common repairs include patching or replacing the vinyl pool liner, fixing plumbing or electrical lines, and repairing pumps, filters, and other equipment.
Depending on the size and type of pool, cleaning services cost about $80 to $150 per month, or $960 to $1,800 per year. Pool maintenance and cleaning services often include:
Testing the pH levels of your water
Cleaning filters, skimmer baskets, and traps
Skimming surface debris from the water
Vacuuming the pool
Additional cleaning and upkeep
