RIBERA CONSTRUCTION & DESIGN

.The work was suppose to last approximately 3 weeks and it's already been 7 weeks. He started off good doing the cement foundation and the framing of the garage opening. After that everything went at a snails pase. He spent 3 weeks doing small amount of work, showing up 2-3 days a week for 2-4 hours at a time. He came in with a new guy 3 weeks into the job as he had lost the first guy with a few days into the job. They ran electric wiring in 2 weeks, should have taken 2-3 days. He brought in another guy, 3rd one, and quit in about 45 minutes as he heard the contractor and I discuss his lack of attention to my job. The third guy had told me that Ribera had told him to do just a little work and clean up just to make it look like they did something. The 2nd helper had come over to apologize for Ribera's attitude and had said he'd finish the sheet rock and taping for $600. All of Thanksgiving week and as of today he showed up with the third guy for 45 minutes. I'll have to pay someone else to to the sheet rock, finish all the outlets, light switches, outside light, outside paneling, and the painting.

Started project in April. Said it would take 6 weeks. Still wasn't half way done in July. Would not show up to work, but sure did cash a check quickly. We had to fire him. He would drop off a guy in the morning who would basically do nothing and then leave by 2 or 3 in the afternoon. We paid him WAY more than we got out of him. We had to have someone else finish it. He is a deposit chaser! He wants half of the money down and then never delivers. He talks a good talk about how great it's going to be when it's done but always wants more money for this and that outside of the contract. He was constantly "working" on other projects as well. Very unsatisfied customer. I should have checked BBB. He has an F there too!
