I called in the morning and they showed up in the afternoon. They were professional, courteous and punctual. Finished the job and were gone in less than 2 hours.

We had Randy's rooter come out to clear a line. When they hit something they decided we need a new sewer line. We were told they would there on Thursday morning but when they did not show up we called and the secretary told me her replacement did not schedule us so we would have to re schedule. He gave a bid of 3500 with a trencher. They did send someone out to start digging a 70' trench and in two and a half hours they had dug about sixteen feet. Upon further measuring it was 58' not 70'. My husband and I decided to dig the rest of the trench to move the job along. Well once uncovered there was broken pipe so as homeowners we decided to replace the bad part of the line to save some money. Well when the plumber replaced the part we needed to replace he called Randy and told him that he could not find anything wrong with one section and randy told him to rip it all out. When we refused randy stated we would pay him the 3500.00 regardless and we said no. We also found out that he did not pull a required city permit for the job. After his guy was finished with the repair he told us they were done and we could fill the trench ourselves. This is not what I expected from a plumber we had used for years and to me an estimate is just that an estimate and when you tell a homeowner one thing and do something else us not good business in my mind. We ended up paying 1500.00 to replace about 50 feet. Why does it take a plumber to dig a trench. You would figure they would be glad for the help. Not Randy. He told us not to call him again. You bet we won't. We are waiting on the city inspector to look at the work. The labor cost 1300.00 when we were told that they would have a trencher. How many hours would it take a trencher? That is a rip off when the trencher could have done it less time. Their trencher operator was on vacation but his bid called for a trencher. We paid 135 an hour to dig a ditch. The parts were 157.00.

Description of Work: New sewer installed.. told it would take two days. had to be inspected twice because the incline wasn't to code so took additional two days. Was told I would be invoiced but when job was done they wanted payment at that time. When I told them about being invoiced, they said that they don't do that.. that I must have misunderstood. I don't know how I can misunderstand needing to pay 3000.00 at the time of service, regardless, I didn't have 3000.00 laying around and told them I would be in the next morning to pay. I was getting calls by 6 AM the next morning from Randy himself, requesting payment, telling me he could meet me at my house, with a total of 3 calls before 10 AM. A week or so later the bathroom showers were draining slowly and I found out using Bosworth, that the dirt had settled down and made the incline on the new line installs settle as well so the water wasn't flowing out as fast as it should. Called and told them the issue and was told that it would be a new charge because that wasn't something that was their fault and they would have to come out and re dig.. Something so easy has turned out to be a headache, its only an opinion but I don't think anyone knows about customer service anymore.. for 3000.00 I would think I would have some service after the sale.. I will never use this company again.

I had a leak on a macerating toilet. The person on the phone said he was familiar with them but sent out two guys (one a kid who did nothing but fetch tools), who had never seen one before and couldn't figure out how it worked. I ended up doing much of the lifting to remove the toilet bowl while the kid watched. To make a long story short, I was billed over $400.00 after which the leak still existed. My wife had found they had installed the tank seal upside down on the macerating tank of which she corrected herself. The entire experience was horrible, their attitudes were obvious they didn't want to do the job and we will NEVER contact these people again!
Description of Work: Macerating toilet leak Most of the time billed was spent on trying to figure out how my system worked and there was no compromising on the charges!

Description of Work: The guys he sent out to perform the work were lazy and stood around. My son, brother in law and myself dug around and found the sewer line that we couldn't locate at night when I got off of work. Then Randy's charged me extra money because "his guys had to find it". The price was way overcharged. When my wife questioned the charges, Randy and his guys said that she was lying about it. I had used Randy's before and always had good experiences but I will never use them again.

I called for an appointment to fix the drain problem in the bathroom. They set up a time for the next day. Later in the day they called back and said they could come today. They had a cancellation. The owner himself came out and determined that the lavatory drain pipe in the wall was leaking.. He cut a hole in the wall and verfied that it was a leaking pipe in the wall. He then called a employee to come and replace the damaged pipe. I also had them replace the water inlet valves for the lavatory and the comode. It took about 3 hours to do the job. They cleaned up the mess when they finished the job. I was pleased that the owner came out to verify the problem. His employee did a good job of finishing the work

They get the job done really well. They are affordable. If the problem still isn't fixed, they will come back and fix it at no charge. They did the job quickly. Their response was speedy. The worker knew what he was talking about. The price was cheap. My only complaint is that they didn't clean up after they were done.

Hot water heater was out. It was a tankless hot water heater. Did not arrive at time first set up for appointment. Told me the company was out of business. Set up to install traditional hot water heater and delayed service 3 days for installation. Over charged by $500. Phoned the company and was reimbursed over charge. In all fairness, I was our during the day and had made arrangements for family to greet the company representative. I should have followed up personally to see if tankless hot water heater of same size could be located.

Response to my first call was quick and was able to get a free estimate. Owner came out himself. I was told that more than likely the hot water tank would not have to be pulled and was given an estimate of $250. I had other plumber appointments scheduled for estimates, but wound up canceling them because I was impressed with how fast this company responded to my call. I called the owner back after hours and he scheduled my repair for first thing in the morning. The plumbers arrived five minutes early for the job. They soon discovered that they WERE going to have to pull the hot water tank inorder to make the repair due to an unbeknownest gas pipe line running right next to the hot water tank line. This and the time to drain the tank had not been figured in my estimate. The hot water tank was draining VERY slowly due to build up in the bottom of the tank and it looked like it was going to take at least an additional hour or two for it to drain. What they did instead of standing around to wait for the water to drain, which would have cost me twice as much, they temporarily put on a large valve to pressure vent the water tank and with large buckets and hot water spraying their bare arms and hands, drained the 50 gallon tank it in a matter of minutes. They worked fast pulling the tank, cutting out the wall and the leaking section of pipe, refitted it re-installed the tank and lit the pilot light within the time frame of the original estimate in spite of all the extra work. The final bill was only $5.50 more than the original estimate for all the extra work they had to do... including exposing their bare skin to scalding water to quickly drain the tank. They were efficient, pleasant and went out of their way to keep my plumbing cost down and within estimate range even though there was extra work involved due to previoulsy unknown problems. I appreciate that! And they cleaned up the area before they left.
Description of Work: Repair hot water pipe leak in wall, leaking 2 gallons of water per hour. Had to drain and remove hot water tank, cut into wall, cut two feet of pipe out and replace it, reinstall hotwater tank and light pilot.
