I hired Josh Haro to complete a custom kitchen and bathroom remodel. The remodel included raising the ceiling and adding an addition to the kichen, His original attitute was very pleasant and he is very charismatic. He comes off leaving you with a confident feeling that he's doing a great job. He addresses your concerns and tells you he's done all this before and never had a problem. So you trust him and take him at his word. He was a framer for a large builder and now is doing yard work and home remodels. He seems to get most his work from local muralist and designer Brandi Bell. I was very dissappointed in his subs especially Painters, Drywall, and Plumbers. I will address each one separately on other report. Josh himself did my tile and prep work in my shower. On the onset he looked to me to not know what he was doing. His cuts of cement board were way off leaving major gaps some 3' apart. As I find out after the leak, he cut my pan and cement board in several places. The shower leaked out of the wall about three months later and damaged the hall wall and my wood floor. I had to replace the whole shower at a cost of $10,000. He acted like he didn't ever do the job at first and then said his insurance would only pay to patch the one leak and fix the wall. Mind you the shower was leaking from multiple places-the bottom liner area all over especially the corners and the wall where he cut it and the seams-there was no one patch that would fix it-the whole thing had to be gutted and redone. Mind you it was expensive tile and a large shower. He changed from Mr. Sunshine to the Devil when I told him of the leak. He tried to blame me as being to picky and said many other unflattering things. He told me to hold off on getting it fixed and said his insurance was going to come by. I asked him his insurer's name and contact number and he refused to give it to me-He said that they were going to just stop by at a minute notice. Knowing that the insurance they carry only covers accidents and not poor workmanship I was confused. Was he trying to have someone else come by as an insurance adjuster and fraud me?? Or was he just trying to delay the repair for another reason? His wife called me and told me that they had no money and her husband does not understand the law. She also said unflattering things. Even after I paid in full for a very expensive remodel - Instead of being apologetic he was a completely irrate and rude. He also did the framing for the roof portion of my remodel. It leaked as well and ended up costing me $6,000.00. He didn't think anything was wrong with it. I am writting this on Angie's list so other's won't have the experience I had. He really doesn't feel he did anything wrong. He is still doing showers and framing the same way and I only fear for these people. Mind you there was other things he did wrong and these are just the big ones. He is unable and unwilling to stand by his work. Beware!!!!!!!
