 + -1 moreIt was on a Saturday. The pilot light on the water heater went off and we couldn't get it to come back on. We called and explained the situation to the person that was on call. The person we talked to (sorry, can't remember his name) tried to talk my husband through the process on the phone but it was unsuccessful. He said that he would be over in about 20 minutes and sure enough he was there when he said. He worked on it for quite some time and finally he got it to come back on. He was very considerate and helpful. He explained how to drain the water heater. I am so glad to have talked to him because I had "googled" the hot water draining situation and it was made so much easier after he told us what to do. We have used 1st Service for several years and we have always been satisfied. This last experience with the hot water heater was just another example of the good service that we have gotten.

Description of Work: Called company on Thursday and asked for a technician. Was asked, does it need to be today? When I said no, they said they would have someone out on Friday. I asked them to call first so I could meet them there and they said they would. Waited all day Friday, no one showed up. I called at 3:30 and they advised they never promised to have someone come out on Friday and argued with me until finally just saying they had no technicians available. Dispatcher was very argumentative on the phone and deceitful. I will call someone else that will tell you when they will come out and then stick to it or at least call to talk to you about it. These people were NOT professional in any sense of the word.
