I called them, they get me to the list right away and then they came out the same evening go straight to the problem, they brought a auger to clear the clogged , but they said that I needed my septic tank pump. So I called my septic tank company that I regularly use, they came check on my septic tank, they said it was on a normal level, they use a water hose and in just 30 mins they got the clog cleared. D&D charged me $135 for service call, but did not charge me with the auger. I paid them for an unfinished job, The septic guys just use a simple water hose to unclogged it,

I called D&D to come out and look at my water softener, which was not using salt. He took one look and said it needs to be replaced. No attempt to repair or further looking. A new system is $2600 installed, he says. I paid him $120 for two minutes. Then I called another place (Tadlock) and they said they'll evaluate a water softener for a $30 callout fee, and they charge nothing if they can't fix it. I understand plumbers have callout fees, but D&D did no work or diagnostics and charged me $120. I consider that poor service and overcharging.

He fixed toilet and said he would have to do research to see if he could find faucet for bath tub that I needed replaced. He called me back within two days to say he had found it. When it came in he called to make an appt to come install it. Very nice person.

It was good. They are always great and they are really polite. They came out when they said they would and they are just really nice people so I was just totally happy with them.

I called because we had a pretty foul smell coming from our air vents. The servicemen arrived within about 30 minutes of me placing the call. They went to the attic to inspect the a/c unit and then went outside to look at the condenser unit. The condenser unit is only about four years old. After coming back into the house and smelling the odor we were advised that the coils were too old to clean but were the cause of the smell. They stated that if they tried to pull out the coils, they would probably break. Other than charging the unit with freon, nothing was done to the unit. Nothing. The freon was expensive and I understand that but charging us $120 for being here about 30 minutes is ridiculous. On top of that I felt like they were more about trying to sell us a new system even though I advised them that there was no way that we would be able to buy a new unit right now. The coils are old and do need to be replaced but they would not touch them at all. My husband went into the attic today and sprayed the coils with bleach and the odor is gone. I understand that they wanted to take the coils out to do a thorough cleaning and that was not possible but to not do anything to help and then charge us the $120 for labor for a 30 minute visit and only taking about 10 minutes to charge the a/c is too much. We will not call them again.

First of all, this was NOT May plumbing. It was Dand D Plumbing and Air Conditioning. I have used Dand D in the past, and I absolutely would not recommend them. The serviceman spent about 15 minutes to make repair and billed me $276. $170 of that was for a part that a person can get at an electrical parts store for $30. The rest of the cost ($106) was for 15 minutes of labor. I would not have these people take out my trash. I am very disappointed that Angies list had the name of the company wrong. In fact I would be surprised if this even makes it to the comments section of this wrongly named company.

Found that the heater motor eas bent he straightened that out oiled the bearings and it was good to go.

I have used them for several other small jobs around the house and they have always been very helpful, very friendly, professional and they get in as quickly as they can. I will absolutely use them again.

They under promised and over delivered. They were up front in telling me the heater was very old. They fixed what they could and gave me a quote for a new one but they didn't push me for a new one.

I have used them for eight years. They are prompt. They are courteous. They clean up after themselves. They provide a club that gives me preference. It also keeps me from paying extra on holidays, and gives me discounts. The plan pays for itself. They stand by their warranty. They are good about seeing if your equipment is under warranty before charging you.

We hired Dand D to replace our sewer line. They were very responsive and showed up that evening to start the job, this is where the great service ended. Within an hour they had struck the main irrigation line and we had a small geyser in our backyard. This leak continued to be a problem for about 4 weeks while they were and quot;working on itand quot; and we had a trench bisecting our backyard. I had to call the company several times during this wait to make sure they were working on my problem, after awhile it became clear that I was not a priority. After several phone calls and a couple visits they finally fixed the leak. They claimed this was a difficult fix, however I have had to complete the same fix several times to reconnect my irrigation lines that they left severed and unfixed. The plumber I was working with was nothing but honest and professional, however it was clear that my problem was not on the top of Dand D's priority list. During this whole ordeal, they informed me that I would need to have the city replace the connection to the main sewer line and they said they would handle contacting the city and scheduling the work. When the city workers showed up, they had a question on exactly what was needed. I called Dand D to ask them to have the plumber call or stop out and explain the work as I am not a plumber. The receptionist promptly told me that it was not their problem I needed to deal with it. I chalked it up to a bad day on her part and called the plumber myself, he was helpful and gave them the information they needed. Overall, the quality, service and commitment of Dand D was not worth the price and I will not be using them in the future.

I called the office and told them that the drain pan had broken and the water was leaking all over the floor. A technician came over, saw the broken drain pan and said they don't have pans on order, that I would have to wait 2-3 days for the part to come in, and it would take an hour to replace it. So, this would mean $104 for the service call, $104.00 for the labor, and $295 for the part. Rediculous!! I had already told them on the phone that the drain pipe was broken.

I was very careful and specific walking through with one of the owners of the company the exact list of work I wanted his people to perform. I was in the midst of a house renovation and had all of the work laid out that I needed their assistance on. The problem I would face was that I had to be at the office while the plumbers were at the house working un-supervised, so I was very careful to organize and plan each job. When I returned to the house following the work, I found that they did un-authorized work and that a shower mixing valve they had installed did not produce hot water. I was charged for materials that they had used as part of the unauthorized work and sitting in the next room was the same materials I was planning to use myself late that week to do the same work myself. By the next week, the mixing valve was still not mixing hot water, so I called them back to the house to correct the problem under warranty. Once again, I had to be at the office while they worked. That evening, I returned to the house to find the shower valve repaired and a hair ball on my bathroom floor. The guys had removed a hair ball from my tub drain while they were there -- not something I had asked for nor something that I needed them to do. I am perfectly capable of doing that myself if necessary. A week later I received an invoice from Dand D charging me for the warranty call on the premise that the plumbers had serviced the tub drain. I refused to pay the invoice. I would not contract with this company unless you are prepared to supervise everything they do. Although the quality of their work was acceptable, I found them to be without scruples.

Provider was supposed to arrive in am. Did not arrive until 2:00pm. I condider this satisfactory. Workman was eficient, friendly and professional. Price was not cheap but satisfactory.
