+ -1 moreWasher is repaired. It is an 83 Maytag - and still working well. He helped me with information to make the decision not to keep the fridge and buy a new one. I appreciated his honesty about the repair on the fridge would not last.
Description of Work: Fridge was not working - it could not be fixed. However, I also had him check out the washer leak.

Description of Work: Mike came over on a Sunday afternoon, quickly identified the problem with our refrigerator, replaced the bad part and got it working again. He did not charge anything extra for making this service call on a Sunday. He also had the needed part with him and was very efficient at getting the job done.

Description of Work: It went all right. They came to check out my oven which was not working properly. It had something to do with the thermostat. For some reason it worked while they were here. It didn't work later in the day when I tried to use it. They recommended to get a new oven. This oven was new in 1982 and is an odd sized range and oven combination which they do not sell.

+ -1 moreMike was punctual and machines are now working properly. However, I would NEVER use him again. He gruffly answered questions about what was wrong with machines and what might have caused problems. He said he would charge more if I used credit card. When he returned with part, and submitted final bill, I asked him about the 5% senior discount. He said he never gives that, but he would take $10 off the bill if I wanted. I have just moved here from Houston, and I know that this is a boom town area with small town attitudes, but he was not very professional. I do not think he should indicate on AngiesList that he takes credit cards or gives discounts since those features come with the caveat of making the customer wrong. I doubt he has ever heard the business theory and quot;the customer is always rightand quot;.
Description of Work: Service call for 6 year old Maytag washer&dryer. Washer made loud noise and rocked during spin cycle; Mike adjusted tabs and cabinet. The timer for the dryer was inoperable and he had to order a part and come back 07-08-14.

Description of Work: Mike was there the same day, really took some time to figure out the problem, and saved us from buying a new fridge. Very happy with his service! The first person I called to repair fridge problem was a disaster. Didn't diagnose problem, and charged more than Mikes for service call.

+ -1 moreHe was very professional, fast, and accurate. We discussed the pro's and cons or repair vs. replacement of the dishwasher and it was obvious that replacement was the right course of action. I will definitely use Mike again.
Description of Work: He diagnosed problem with dishwasher. Based on the repair cost for a new motor, it was better to buy a new dishwasher. He diagnosed and fixed a problem with the refrigerator temperature controller. No replacement parts were required.

+ -1 moreThe first time he (Tony) came out he stopped the auto dispenser from leaking and noticed the seal around the door was cut and said he would order a replacement and call us when it came in and set up an appointment, which was done. He came back and was finished in about 15 mins. Very impressed.
Description of Work: replaced washer on dishwasher door, and stopped auto dispenser from leaking. Under warranty.
